Everything! Loved the location as it was very central to where we needed to go and the sites we were looking to visit. The staff were so lovely as well and we loved the complimentary luggage storage for both arriving early and late departures. We still managed to walk around on our last day hassle free even after checkout as we were able to leave our bags until we had to leave for the airport late afternoon! 100% recommend

Clean, modern, nicely decorated with a great view from the bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is perfect but the room was well insulated so very quiet.bed was very comfortable.

Some of the LED spotlights buzz a little bit it was just a case of turning those ones off and it wasn’t loud anyway. On the last day we woke up later and the water wasn’t very hot.

Very convenient location being walking distance from Waverley station and all areas of interest in central Edinburgh. Lovely helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable, clean, very well equipped and stylish rooms Excellent Champagne café bar for relaxing at any time with hot or cold food and drinks The delicious and very varied breakfasts are also served there.

We liked everything Suggestions for improvements would be larger bath towels and having easy to find instructions for using things in the rooms, though this wasn’t a problem for us as such. We couldn’t get the radios to work for example

Breakfast compared to previous trips was not as good

We have stayed at this hotel before(4th trip this time). It’s a tradition now at Christmas before we visit my husband’s family on the east Coast. Always very festive and we dined in the hotel this year and the food was delicious

Very well designed hotel all the facilities staff and reception very good. The only thing we had in the second time the shower was Luke warm !

Location to the train station couldn’t be better. The bed was extremely comfortable. Room was a good size and well stocked. Everything was very clean and new.

I loved how close it was to the station and how clean everything was

the only thing i didn’t like was the fact that the fridge in the room wasn’t very cold. everything else was perfect

Market Street Hotel offers everything you could wish for when comfort, elegance, location and value for money matter. Perfectly central — no more than 15 minutes from anywhere you might want to be. My thanks to Mr Gordon, who was exceptionally kind to us. A flawless stay — highly recommended.

Champagne on check in, stunning views of the city, and a perfect location to explore both old and new town. The bathroom was stocked with high end amenities; a Dyson airwrap and ghd hair straightener?! Totally unexpected, but wholly appreciated. Reception staff were great -- very friendly, helpful, efficient.

There was a faint, unpleasant smell eminating from the shower drain. We kept the bathroom door shut most of the time, which kept it in check enough for us. I would still rebook this hotel in a heartbeat on my next trip!

Spacious room, wonderful shower.

Had to change quilt cover because the original was dirty. Replacement quilt cover had holes in. Duvet was old and very lumpy. Coffee machine not working correctly.
