Small quarters inevitably because you are staying on a boat

Everything, the decor, the room, the ambiance. The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful.

Maybe the lack of TV in my room, but not really bothered by that, it was part of the experience not having one 😊

Beautiful rooms in great location

Gorgeous atmosphere and room. Staff went above and beyond and decorated it for my partners birthday. Feels a really special time away and fantastic value for money considering how unique it is! Will definitely be back thank you!

This by far exceeded our expectations. The staff were wonderful. Toni was at breakfast every morning and was so welcoming and friendly. The food was lovely and the room was very luxuries with a huge comfy bed. Can’t wait to return

It was in a stunning location and the boat has been restored to a very high standard. The customer service of the staff was to a very high standard.

Parking in this area is impossible. Do not take your car.

Lovely boat and very comfortable and good experience

Something a little different staying on the boat, rooms clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. Cocktails delicious.

No cooked breakfast, although I knew this at the time of booking, I did miss a hot, cooked breakfast and considering the cost of the room it was a little disappointing. I totally understand no kitchen on board, I did notice many bars and resturant opened for breakfast with very little custom, perhaps a idea to have a deal where guests and go across the road to a resturant for breakfast.

Always a great service, staff are so helpful, facilities are great, rooms are comfortable, bar is great for chilling out in.

Beautiful place to stay for a short get away to Edinburgh. Everything about the ship, the rooms and staff were exceptional. The room was beautifully decorated, dressed and cleaned to a very high standard (and my expectations are always high in this regard!). Would love to stay for, longer, one night sadly was all we could manage this time.

Absolutely amazing & 100% spotless. The workmanship gone into this beautiful boat is incredible. The attention to detail is 1st class. All the staff are brilliant, inc. housekeeping, bar & breakfast. But a partiular mention for Danny - Duty Manager & Matt - Night Manager who go above & beyond from arriving to leaving & all have a very obvious pride in the Ocean Mist .The beds are superb with quality pillows & bedding. The breakfast, (continental only) had everything covered & with quality products. I am very picky & never stayed somewhere where EVERYTHING was 1st class.

Unique and expertly refurbished boat hotel ! Staff were very welcoming and we loved the little nautical touches everywhere - even down to the stamp on the toilet paper !

There was an 80th party going on when we arrived so it was too busy to enjoy the excellent bar area before we went out and by time we came back later in the evening the bar had shut sadly - but a very minor problem and I hope the 80th birthday was enjoyed by all !

Floors in room are uneven but I understand thats part of the aesthetic.

We were given an upgrade as hubby has minimal mobility. Exceptional experience all round. Facilities and staff were excellent they were available anytime of day/night. Highly recommend and you won’t be disappointed.

We’ve stayed before and this time had another fantastic stay. Love the boat, the facilities, the location and best of all, the staff. You’re made to feel so welcome it’s like visiting family.

The room and staff were amazing.

Quirky and luxurious, bathrobes, 1920s decor. Very comfortable bed. Ship had a lovely bar area- cosy on a chilly evening. ‘Crew’ all very polite and attentive. A good place for a special treat (it was our wedding anniversary). Leith is an interesting area to explore with many excellent restaurants

A very comfortable stay with beautiful features throughout the hotel. Friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Great location - so close to a tram stop and weekend parking was free which was great.

Something very different, was made to feel special by the superb staff, or crew! Room was cosy, bathroom clean and everything there you would expect in a normal hotel.

No evening dining facility, but lots of great pubs and restaurants only a short walk away.

Check out The Dancing Captain - she is a legend in her own right but totally at home on Ocean Mist. We were lucky enough to secure an upgrade which made for a very special experience. This was our second visit and definitely not our last. Thank You

Everything was just perfect, the room was lively and well presented. The bar was perfect with views of the river.

There was nothing I didn’t like about it.

Lovely boat only 50 minutes to walk to City Centre. Clean and beautiful room super comfortable bed. Wonderful cocktails especially Moonshine. Lots of choice for breakfast - overnight oats really good.

Slightly noisy at night if room is near reception. No TV

Ocean Mist is a unique, boutique experience for everyone. The staff are beyond perfection and will accommodate any thing to make life easier i.e ordering a taxi.
