The hotel had a lovely relaxed ambience and it was very quiet at night.

This hotel is fantastic! We truly felt like we had found our very own ‘Grand Budapest Hotel’! From the moment we walked through the door, we entered a world of tranquility with such a relaxed atmosphere and great ambience. The staff were very accommodating and kind. Our train was delayed so we only arrived just before midnight, so I telephoned to check and was told all is fine and not to worry. The breakfast is outstanding and location excellent. We would love to come back.

The style of the property meant we couldn’t open a window, but this wasn’t a problem.

The building is wonderful, the rooms were comfortable, clean and the air conditioning was great. The black out blind was great and high ceilings very impressive. The luggage storage on the lower ground floor was brilliant with large individual lockers.

The only small issue was the face of having to pay for water.

Room was small but space was well organized. Hotel located just off main parts of the city, within (somewhat lengthy) walking distance Hotel offers a variety of supplies- plug converter, night light - that were helpful

Everything was fantastic!

Since it was our anniversary, they gave us a room with the skylight window and provided a small surprise for us.

The room was a bit small. The bath towels need to be changed.

Very classy. Room was great size and very clean.

The hot plate section at breakfast was always cold. Bar closing at 12pm for residents was quite annoying. Bar is way too small with lack of options.

A wonderful stay, a very comfortable room. The staff had no problem fulfilling my requests made during the reservation — I received a quiet room on the top floor. An excellent location, a monumental historic building, and on top of that, a sauna!

Room very nice....but very difficult to control temperature...either too warm or quite chilly. Staff did try to help, but we never could seem to regulate it!

The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The room was perfect, when we arrived they had everything for us and they even left my partner a handwritten card and bottle of Prosecco for his 30th birthday. The hotel is very central as well

Friendly staff, excellent location, complementary tea and coffee in the lobby area during the day.

The bathroom was a bit small, I didn't have a place to put my belongings. The sink was part of the room, not in the bathroom. I did not have a seating area( chair, table) in the room. Still the room was well equipped and nicely decorated, I am just used to more practical settings.

We just wished our bed had larger bed covers instead of the two smaller ones but that might have been because of the bed size we chose. Overall, it was comfortable

It was all lovely - the staff couldn’t have been nicer, and very proactive in making sure we had all we needed, including umbrellas!!

There are no wardrobes but they do provide hangers on a railing. It is not in a wardrobe but serves the purpose

Amazing hotel with a beautiful breakfast !

The building’s interior is absolutely stunning. The rooms were very nicely decorated, with high ceilings, very spacious, very large windows and a comfortable bed. The lobby is beautiful and large. The location is fantastic for exploring the city. And everything is so close by. It lives up to its 4-star rating. The young woman at the front desk was very welcoming and knowledgeable.

The space, facilities and the staff were great. The bed was very comfortable for me, I have been travelling Europe the past month and it’s one of the best beds. The sauna and wellness facilities were great.

I really liked the property but I think there are a few improvements that can make it even better. The bathroom only has a shampoo and body gel, it would be nice to have a conditioner, and some extra coffee capsules. The gym facility could have an auto air freshener as it did smell when others were using it.

We loved this property, beautiful setting, location is perfect and the facilities were brilliant.

The room was a really good size. Black out blinds meant we had a great nights sleep. We liked that key access is required to get past reception - made us feel safe. The front of house staff were lovely. Also gave us some good recommendations of places to eat etc.

On arrival, unfortunately as soon as we got out of our taxi, a homeless man tried to sell us a vape. We understand that this is out of the hotels control, however it was not a good first impression, and maybe a doorman would help in these instances. Everything else was great, and we would definitely return to this hotel.

Friendly reception, clean rooms, high ceilings and central location. Absolutely loved the storage room- its the cleanest and most modern one I have seen.

I missed a kettle in the bedroom but they were happy to give us one upon request. They can also add more toiletries to make it feel less like a budget option.

Amazing location, next to metro and tram stations and with walking distance to a lot of tourist attractions, shops, bars and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and polite, providing tips about things to do in the city. Breakfast was good overall. Room was big, clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again in this hotel..

Excellent location on the main street to Heroes square. Downtown Pest and Buda easily accessible by public transport. Staff were very helpful and they had storage lockers for storing luggage if needed. Breakfast was nice also.

Gym had limited equipment but not a major issue.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. Loved the atmosphere and architecture, the bedrooms were very clean, had enough space for luggage and had a place to hang some of our stuff. They had a long length mirror which I sometimes find lacking in hotels, so I appreciated that. They also had a coffee machine as well, with pods provided. The bed and pillows were perfect. All in all we had a very comfortable stay. Would love to stay again.

It wasn’t anything negative but I would have preferred the sink to be inside the bathroom instead of being inside the bedroom. Just never had this set up before so it felt strange.

Location, architecture

I really liked the building and the second room I was given on the second floor. It had the charm of the early 20th century, with high ceilings and even access to a front balcony overlooking a beautiful, elegant avenue. I did have an issue with the first room I was assigned on the first floor. However, the hotel acknowledged my concerns and made a kind gesture to address the situation, which I truly appreciated. This is why I am giving a positive review. The hotel is indeed very beautiful and has a refined, prestigious atmosphere.

The room on the fifth floor was not to my personal taste, mainly due to the large glass ceiling, which I find less comfortable. While some guests may appreciate this feature, others—like myself—might prefer the rooms on the lower floors, which feel warmer and more cosy.

This is a beautiful hotel located perfectly. I am actually sad that i only got to spend a night here but happy to find this nice gem in Budapest for my next trip. Rooms are designed perfectly, high walls, great bathroom... Their breakfast was excellent too.. it has a nice co-working area and a beautiful atrium...
