Gagliardi Boutique Hotel, Noto

Very central. Breakfast was nice serve in the courtyard. We were initially allocated a room on the ground floor overlooking the road. When I complained we were given a nice quiet room on the first floor with balcony.

I think it was very expensive for what if offered. Eg, my pillows were so uncomfortable I wasn’t able to get to sleep. In the morning I requested a softer pillow and the receptionist said she didn’t think they had other pillows. I asked whether the tap water was drinkable as there was no mineral water in the bedroom other than in the minibar for which we had to pay. Later on a much softer pillow and a free large bottle of mineral water appeared.

the hotel didnt have electricity on the first noght or the last night. It was a city problem but they could have considered getting a generator

had to reserve a table for outdoor roof bar as outside guests can use. it was full the night we wanted to go there eventually the staff found an alternative

This is what a boutique hotel should be. From the welcoming arrival to the easiest checkout, everything was pure luxury. An amazing breakfast as well.

It’s a beautiful property right in the middle of Noto. Breakfasts are in a lovely courtyard at the rear, under orange trees, and are the most amazing selection of home made pastries I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend staying here, it’s reasonably priced and the staff are amazing

Marco - who welcomed us was a dream! He upgraded our room and made us espresso when he saw how weary we were! The room was beautiful, the location of the hotel, perfect. They also have a superb roof terrace with an amazing bar open from May.

It can be tricky to park close by as the property is in the old town. There is no parking on the property. No kettle in the room.

Location with the room facing the duomo was exceptional.

Circular mattress felt like it had a plywood support under it.

Perfect location, wonderful terrace with excellent cocktails, lovely staff. The hotel feels like an elegant, relaxed home.

Excellent service delightful staff all of whom were most helpful. Nothing was too much trouble they made dinner reservations for us. Luggage had been moved to our room when we returned after leaving it with reception staff prior to check in time. Reception staff were particularly attentive and helpful. Delicious breakfast Location in central Noto could not have been better. The hotel also had a spectacular roof terrace bar with wonderful city views.

Our room was on the ground floor with just one window facing the street and passers-by could look into the room. A screen was placed at the window to give some privacy but inevitably it partially blocked the window and light.

This is a fantastic hotel in a wonderful location. The staff are extremely helpful kind and friendly nothing is too much trouble for them The rooms are very clean and comfortable with lovely cotton bed linen The breakfast offers a wide range of choice it is served in a charming courtyard. The rooftop bar at sunset has stunning views and is a great place for an aperitif before heading out to one of the many excellent restaurants in Noto

Perfectly located in the centre of Noto. Gtrreat breakfast options and fabulous rooftop bar. Fantastic staff who went out of their way to make our stay perfect.

Won't drive next time as the roads in the centre are very narrow.

We loved everything. The room was beautiful, the garden where we had our breakfast was so pretty with trees giving shade so we could sit outside. The whole building is amazing.

The location of the hotel is second to none right in the centre of Noto within a 5-minute walk to all the sights and restaurants. The view from the rooftop onto the beautiful ancient buildings is magnificent. Lovely breakfast outside in the leafy courtyard, very comfortable bed and super quiet.

We would have liked more advice from the staff about the best wineries or beaches nearby. Nothing like the advice of a local! They were pleasant but they didn’t seem to know when we asked.

This really is a fantastic hotel at which to stay. There was not a single thing that we could fault with the hotel and we only wished that we had stayed longer than overnight. The rooftop bar is a lovely space to enjoy a pre dinner drink, our room was very comfortable and well appointed and the staff professional and obliging and the breakfast simply delicious.

Parking could be an issue if there is a festival going on in town. It was fine for us!!

More fruit at breakfast

Breakfast was great except for two mornings when I was the only guest and there was no buffet. Location was excellent and by far the best part was the staff! Great suggestions and reservations for lunch and dinner!

Cost was very high considering I’d received an email from booking.com saying my request for a room with a view and check-in at 3 pm was “approved by the hotel and there would be no extra charge”. Instead I was charged an additional 80 euro per night to be upgraded from a room that didn’t face the street at ground level. The cost escalated significantly and totalled over $350 a night at a time when the hotel was virtually empty and the rooftop terrace not even open for the season. The costly view looked over a pile of rubble to the street below then over towards the sea so not even a million dollar view!!! A nice hotel but not worth that much!!!

This is a special place, right at the center of Noto, a stonethrow from the major cathedral. A nice epoque building. We were in a very nice and elegant room with a wonderful bathroom. We particularly enjoyed the antique furniture, the friendliness of the staff and the inner yard where we had breakfast.

We liked everthing. If i have to mention something i would say that the wonderful giant bathtub is si large that is only worth filling for two persons and that requires coordination. But a really special and elegant bathroom - one of the nicest we have ever seen in the world.

Exceptional in every regard. They even made an extra effort to make specially requested dishes that were not included into the normal package.

No public transportation to the whole city, or every little. Nothing the hotel can do anything about!

This location is amazing - right in the middle of the most impressive barocke architecture you can enjoy the most beautiful roof top terrace with good drinks and an amazing view, especially during sunset. The garden for breakfast is a sweet spot too.

The breakfast is good, for 16 euros pP there could have been a little more choice. But the garden area was a very nice spot to enjoy breakfast.

The hotel is in a perfect location. Staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Perfect communications prior to our arrival and they assisted with getting us restaurant reservations on a very busy weekend at a trendy spot. We loved the terrace - beautiful views while enjoying a spritz. Thank you for a lovely weekend!
