Alder Hotel, New Orleans

Loved the retro style and convince to area we needed. The free parking was a major plus.

Could have used a blanket, only 2 sheets. The bed itself was comfortable.

This is our 2nd time staying here at the Alder Hotel and we truly enjoyed everything about it! We absolutely love it! We get a king balcony room. The staff is amazing! It's close to some fantastic restaurants, within walking distance. It's always clean! The pool is also clean. We definitely recommend it!!!! It's updated. Big walk-in shower! The water gets really hot! Kurege for coffee/tea! Desk area! Mini fridge and microwave. Plenty of areas to plug things in and charge whatever you may need to charge (phone, laptop, etc). Comfortable bed and pillows. No bed bugs!!! Or any other bugs for that matter!!!! There's a safe to lock valuables in in the room! Big flatscreen TV. The AC works great! It's perfect!!! Oh, and parking is included. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a nice place to stay. There was a security guard continually walking around.

There’s nothing to do within walking distance. No free breakfast.

Continental breakfast would be nice. But there were a few good restaurants close, so not really a big deal.

The shower door was broken and replaced with a shower curtain that didn’t catch the water so water was everywhere on the bathroom floor after showering we had to use extra towels

The shower was wonderful! Best shower I have used at a hotel in a long time. The facilities were very clean and it was quiet and peaceful on our floor. We didn’t realize when booking there was a pool so that was a pleasant surprise.

They don’t serve breakfast which would be my only downside. But not a big deal since there are so many good places around. It would be nice if they advertised when they serve fresh coffee along with some pastries.

The room was clean and inviting and the bed very comfortable. Elevators in good condition. Staff very friendly. Nice neighborhood--cute houses. I thought the cost per night was a great value, so much so that I figured the hotel would be 2nd rate.

Rooms are nice updated look, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Charger ports available , a safe, iron, refrigerator and updated television.

Please put Bluetooth on televisions that can connect to guest phones?

Receptionist very nice. Rooms have lots of open space, did not feel cramped, wonderful when traveling with a small family. Have a basic kitchenette with sink, fridge and microwave. Overall we enjoyed our short stay.

Bathroom was roomy but would be nice if shower was updated.

Such a charming hotel! Great location and friendly staff. It was the best vibe for JazzFest. Loved it so much that we’ve already booked another stay!
