Alila Bangsar Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

The staff at reception have excellent manners!! Kudos to Shafie for always being his personal best. We also would like to commend the housekeeping boy at level 39 for his speedy and very good service! Thank you for the unlimited coffee and ice tea at each lobby level for guests use. Very thoughtful gesture indeed. Not forgetting the tidbits too.

There was no mini bar stock. Hope u can consider having them.

Great place. Very comfortable space. Excellent location, with malls and food joints nearby. Highly recommended for family stays.

Swimming pool was not ideal. Small lap pool only.

Love the minimalist decor. Well maintained considering I haven’t been back in 5 years and the property is still new. Love the functionality of everything. Esp love the extras like free flow snacks at the lobby and ice tea!

Really well designed rooms finished to an incredible standard. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Just across the sky bridge from bangsar LRT station as well, super easy to get to from the airport with the KLIA ekspres. Great views from the room and pool deck!

The interior design is so chique and posh, you also get complimentary snack and drinks on every level, amazing price with spacious bedroom and nice view overlooking KL city centre, amazing breakfast with Western and Malaysian food options. Without any doubt I'll be happy to book Alila Bangsar again whenever I'm in KL!

You need to go up to level 47 to check-in, and the bedrooms are a few level down. The concierge / bell boy can be hard to be found at the Ground Level, need more information to direct guest to the lobby.

Staff were wonderful and the room was incredibly comfortable with a great view over Kuala Lumpur. Very handy location close to Brickfields. The pool is fantastic.

The loungers in the pool area are not good for sitting on, as they don’t have a proper backrest. Also no one on the pool bar, it was a self-service via a telephone, would be good to have someone there serving drinks

the room was spacious, the bed was so comfortable, the smell is good, has 24 hours free drinks at the floor living area.

We live the calm atmosphere of the Alila. We very much appreciated the upgrade, though I do think that some areas of our suite needed attention. The rug, curtains and grout around the tiling all appeared a little grubby and worn.

All good, lobby in 41 floor. Room was 38 floor. The view from room and the lobby was super cool. Your are top off.Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable.

Design

Toilet paper is too rough and not very environmentally friendly. The lift to the ground floor from level 41 does not have any air ventilation. Slow and stuffy.

Alila is a beautiful hotel with stunning views. Our room was massive with a sitting area, desk, mini-fridge, kettle, and all the amenities we needed. The 40th floor pool was gorgeous and located within a nearly enclosed roof, ensuring lots of shade during the brutally hot afternoons. The location is perfect with a connecting walkway to the Bangsar LRT.

Accessible location in Bangsar. Property feels fairly new/renovated. Good in room and common facilities. Spacious rooms (ours had 1 king and 1 sofa bed, so can fit 3 adults easily). Comfy beds, relaxing shower/bathroom area, ample storage. Staff were very attentive and tried their best to accommodate our request of having our rooms near each other. Staff at Botanica restaurant was super! Nice breakfast and decent dinner option too. Overall very happy with Alila Bangsar.

The rooms have an amazing view. Breakfast is great, but the host at breakfast is exceptional. His energy is wonderful, and absolutely puts a smile on your face when you get to meet him.

I wish the pool was open air, but the views from it are gorgeous

The food is the only hiccup in this hotel The selection for the western pallet is very limited Apart from the egg section the rest on offer leaves a lot to be desired.

At first, I didn't know what to make of the Alila. However, after a few nights, I really started to appreciate how private it is. Being on the 41st floor, tucked away in Bangar, it's exactly what I needed. Privacy!!!
