Other guests rather noisy. but clearly not the hotels fault.

Place was beautiful clean and staff were amazing!! I was staying for our first Valentine’s Day with my partner and it was also his first time in Scotland as he stays in Dublin, I emailed the hotel to make them aware of this and was upgraded room and they put petals on the bed and towel swans on the bed also a valentines quiz for us and drinks vouchers, honestly the best hotel I have stayed in Glasgow and I have stayed in a lot can’t recommend this anymore

Excellent breakfast with a very big spread. The haggis was excellent. Fruits were fresh. The reception was knowledgeable and friendly. They told me where to eat and where to go shopping and take the Hop on hop off bus.

The close proximity to the main railway station and the city centre local buses and shopping centre. The room was huge with large beds and large windows to look out over the sky line. Breakfast was a vast choice of local dishes as well as continental on a help yourself basis, plenty to choose from.

The breakfast room was downstairs, and was rather cold, sitting near the entrance was very cold and only at the far end of the room was a source of heat which was limited in getting the room warm, Being downstairs felt a long way from the floors where the bedrooms where situated.

Fabulous olde world hotel right next to the railway station concourse. Lovely original features..beautiful wooden staircase. But with all modern conveniences in bathrooms and bedroom. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choice. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The location and breakfast are fab and everything you could want to do is within easy reach.

The last 2 times we have stayed we’ve had to change rooms, first one was at the back of beyond and tiny so we paid another £40 to upgrade 😔 and the last time we upgraded at booking and still got a room at the very end of the cooridor and asked to change again but at least thuu it a time we had already paid for the upgrade! Feels like if u book through booking.com they give you their least attractive rooms ?

It's a comfortable hotel, right within the Station complex so that everything is on the doorstep. It is a beautiful building, lifts to all floors. Considering it's in the heart of Glasgow, you wouldn't really know it from how quiet the wide corridors are.

The Dining Room was extremely cold, the rooms themselves were just about warm and the hot water was not hot enough. There was noise from outside until around 12.30 am, I wasn't sure whether this was from inside or outside of the Hotel (it was a Friday night).

Easy access from Glasgow Central station Excellent staff and customer service throughout our stay. Large room with King size bed and sizeable bathroom.

Our room (218) was lovely . Looked out over the train station. Bed was super comfy . Very clean. Good room service. Great hot 🔥 shower . Right in the heart of the city for easy walking .

Obviously no parking , and the nearest parking is a bit of a walk lugging your suitcases. Obviously they can’t do anything about that . You get a discount on your parking though.

Super big room and a very comfy bed. Slept really well.

Not crazy about the shower set-up; it felt cramped, which was weird, given the generous proportions of the room.

we loved the history and the decor of the hotel. The breakfast was exceptional, the rooms were large ,the bed was so comfortable, and the location for us was perfect for business and pleasure. Excellent hotel one of the best we have stayed at.

A lovely hotel in the city centre. Handy location for transport and shops. It was a little busy during my stay given that it was the Xmas season, but didn't really bother me much. The grand staircase was all spruced up and festive looking.

There was an issue that needed fixing and the staff were very slow to respond - but this was nothing major.

The building is amazing, a lot of history to check around. The bedroom and bathroom are comfortable and spacious enough.

The area at night can be busy or not so busy. But it's what you can expect from a train station neighborhood.
