our room was like a cave! no real window just the strange outdoor “balcony” with no view except of the sky.

Super comfortable rooms, nice staff, good breakfast and great spa! I ended up going back the following week to stay again, I liked it so much.

I loved the spa but found it a little annoying that there are timing restrictions for hotel guests (7:30-9:30 am, and 5-8pm only to use the spa, no access to lockers, bring robes from your room etc) but I understand they probably need to recoup cost of the remodel with outside guests spa treatments etc - just feels like it could be slightly more user friendly for the hotel guests.

Quiet and spacious rooms. Modern facilities with old world charm. Excellent bar in a lovely room. Great location.

First time at the Blythswood Square Hotel… speechless! Staff were soo welcoming wonderful; spa was such a great experience; beautiful bedrooms with luxury beds; lots of complimentary treats; comfy robe and slippers; friendly and helpful staff; we will definitely be back!!

The spa was a particular highlight

The rooms air condition was faulty. Tried to reconfigure the settings to cooling mode and it wouldn't work. The room was so warm. I had fellow residents knocking on the door as they thought they were at the sauna.

Clean and pretty. The spa access in the mornings and evenings for guests of the hotel was definitely the highlight. The food we got from the restaurant was great. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would choose it again.

The room was a bit dark and the light switches a bit confusing. The hotel has a bit of a weird layout and requires some amount of climbing and descending steps to get anywhere even within the hotel itself. It’s walking distance of the city centre, but a bit of a slog uphill to get back to the hotel from there.

Just first 2 night we had an issue with the AC , we have spoken to the manager who shifts us to other room, The problem has been solved, and she told us that she will cut 100£ per night per room from the total invoice

The spa was lush, incredibly relaxing. Unfortunately only limited hours for hotel guests. The facilities were beautiful. The room was very clean, very spacious and very light. Would recommend!

Our coffee machine was broken but they provided instant coffee sachets so not a problem.

Friendliest staff you could ask for, they really tried to make the stay perfect. Location was perfect and a short walk from the center. Great onsite restaurant.

Called ahead and promised a roll away bed which wasn’t in the room, had to ask a few more times before we got a solution. Friendly enough, but was slightly disappointed. Otherwise amazing hotel.

Excellent location, splendid staff and more than good breakfast.

Beautiful building, with large, well maintained rooms. There were many lifts and well signposted egress routes. The staff were outstanding. Absolutely superb, nothing was too much trouble.

The only minor thing was the lack of spa availability during the day.
