The Joule Hotel, Dallas

Super location, great rooms, Sassetta Restaurant fabulous but what made our trip so memorable and special was the staff especially Jon Paul Barnes. Such a wonderful person. He went above and beyond to make us feel truly welcome and special. He’s a real standout for the hotel and really made our 10 day trip with the family for Christmas a truly memorable one.

Great location. Comfortable room but the staff are the ones who make it extra special. Jon Paul Barnes made our trip extra special. He was so attentive and so thoughtful. He’s an absolute Star. The Joule is lucky to have him.

I loved the People, Art Work and the Restaurant

The only negative was that the path to the pool was closed. I wasn’t going to swim, but wanted to see what it looked like. Having said that, this is sooo very tiny minor a concern

The room was very small and did not have a coffee setup or ice machines on the floor. Also the parking was $50

We had room service for breakfast and it was fabulous.

I wish there was a bath in the giant bathroom

I did not like the fact that bums off the street walked up to me and family asking for money as I waited for valet

I know it sounds like a spoiled guest but being in a 5 star hotel requieres special requests from thier guest a milkshake on room service is nothing that hard to comply sadly they don't have milkshakes for BB meal or dinner

The staff was more than willing to assist. I had not requested a handicapped accessible room yet the staff was able to immediately assist in changing in our room.

Fantastic and polite employees and very clean and impressive room and facilities.

We got stuck in Dallas due to an ice storm and the city shut down. We barely made it to the hotel as the road conditions got hazardous very quickly. The staff was so kind and accommodating. We had spent a week traveling already and were headed home with bags full of dirty clothes. They do not have a laundry service, but got housekeeping to wash clothes for us (enough for 3 days). The city was covered in ice but the wonderful valet manager grabbed our hands and walked us to a restaurant that was open so we could eat. We also ate at the hotel restaurants (excellent food) and had room service. 10/10 recommend everything from food, service, cleanliness, and staff. I suspect the hotel staff was stranded there too, but were all smiles after not being able to go home for several days.

While the food and service was excellent, the 19% service charge on everything (even bringing a pizza up from the restaurant ourselves) was a bit much.

All of the staff from the moment I exited my vehicle were courteous, helpful, and accommodating. the room was very comfortable and inviting, I felt at home; not as if I was in a hotel.

I have no complaints or shortcomings to speak of.

This place really embodies customer service and class. I've stayed in several hotels in Dallas and this place has become my all time favorite. From valet, to room service, to in-room dining, to housekeeping you will be hard pressed to find anything negative about this place. You feel welcomed from the time you greet the folks at the front desk. In a day and age where finding excellent customer service is difficult this hotel restores your faith. Kudos to the owner and management for a truly top notch experience. The hotel is quite lovely too. I really love the huge bathrooms and showers. Rooms and beds are cozy, comfortable and most importantly QUIET.
