Hotel ZaZa, Dallas

Location was Great, the Staff in general were great,

The individual that checked us in was extremely unwelcoming, a certain arrogance and rudeness was displayed and made me feel uncomfortable. No inro to the room, Wifi, explanation of any of the services, or any info at all was given.

The swimming pool was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. There are lots of little extras the hotel provides on top which were a great addition.

Interesting and a bit quirky but nice hotel in a chic area. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants.

They only offer valet parking.

Great location walking distance to the work I was doing and if my appointment was further away I could take the free longhornmobile. Plus we love the decor, and also the pool. Nice teatime cookies and pineapple water in samovars

Luxurious and inviting. All of the staff were amazing and curtious.

Second floor needs a restroom /dressing area for the fitness center. The spa ladies would not let me change into my workout gear in their spa restroom across from the fitness center.

Staff went out of their way to make our stay special and memorable. The facility is beautiful. The area is wonderful.

We loved everything

Loved the boutique feel and location. Carolina at the front desk was excellent. Valet/shuttle/bellman/greeters were fantastic. Pool staff were also fantastic and attentive. Aliyah at front desk was very personable and helpful.

Some of the furniture and decor should be updated. Looks dated. Elevators and some halls were very dark?! Maybe a light was out?
Pool drinks were expensive for size.

Apart from the lady on reception, who was curt and unengaging, the staff were all exceptionally friendly. (The pool staff and cleaning staff were all great, but the valet guys, who you saw every time you came into and out of the hotel, in particular were superb. As well as being super friendly, they were also full of helpful tips on where to go in Dallas, good local eateries and so on).

The location is excellent. In a nice, safe part of the city, but easily reachable to the downtown area and all the things to see in Dallas.

The pool area was excellent. We visited another pool in another hotel in they city, having read some recommendations somewhere (The Statler) and the Za za was way better.

The room was tired and smelt a bit musty. The shower leaked.

this was a great location with lots of activities easily within walking distance and tram that served great neighborhood. very safe area and staff were gave great recommendations and were always helpful. food was good quiet property.

never liked upholstered furniture and rugs. but overall the place was well appointed and rooms were very comfortable

The valet shuttle was so great ! Will take you anywhere within a 3 mile location.

The location was perfect. It was possible to walk to downtown or take a trolley bus which doesn't cost anything. Nice restaurants nearby. The room was large and beautifully furnished.

It was a pity that the pool area was closed. It should have been nice to relax and take a nice bath after having walked around the city. The hotel takes a deposit of $ 100 per night and that's too much.

This was over and beyond what we could have expected. Honeslty the best hotel experience we have ever had. Sooo many extras and daily surprises.. from snacks cookies.. cupcakes . fancy water in glass jars. champagne.. doors held open for you. Free shuttles.. candles lit. Slippers and robes. Wonderful friendly staff. Legit sooo fun and truly and amazing experience. Ohhh and gorgeous location .

Staff was so welcoming and friendly. Little touches were delightful. Room was huge and hotel restaurant was amazing! Also love having coffee by the elevator every morning. Lots of nice touches!

Magical place. We loved the room, decor, and the staff. Everyone we met were very welcoming and friendly. It’s a very beautiful hotel in a great location.

The only negative I can think of is that they don’t allow outside food. We wanted to order a pizza and stay in one night but we refrained.

Shuttle to and from the American Airlines center was a great perk. Complimentary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for our 35th anniversary was a nice treat. (Turned champagne into sodas and lemonade because neither of us drink)

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean.

We loved the pool area but there was never enough seating to enjoy it. People were literally rushing in front of us to reserve beds and then not use them. Quite frustrating.

The hotel is beautiful. I have stopped many times for drinks and appetizers. This was my first time to stay at the hotel. Having the coffee stations is a good idea, but why can't you have regular cream (not half/half) or milk. Soy and oat milks?? It was nice to have slippers and a robe. And they turned down my bed. The valet guys were courteous and prompt to retrieve your car. I was disappointed because on the room service menu it doesn't state there is a $5 delivery fee nor an automatic 3% room charge. Why didn't they have music Friday night to party at the pool? It was so dead at night over the weekend. What is the Metropolitan Club?

The loud rock music at the pool at 11 am. They should have played that loud music Friday night by the pool. I left the pool, didn't care for loud rock music, Smooth jazz my style. NO music over the weekend at night. I don't like soy or oat milk. Need to get rid of room service charges. BTW I did tip the delivery man $6 cash. Open the pool earlier. How about offering a cool drink and a cold towel at check in since it's so hot. I expected more from ZAZA.

The prices on the drinks that come with the room

We were attending a burial at the Greenwood Cemetery which was 3 blocks away so it was very convenient. Also we had flowers for the burial and because of the heat, we were unable to store then overnight in our car... the hotel gladly stored them in an air conditioned room.

Nothing to not like. We had 2 teenagers with us and so spent time in the pool which had floating flamingos! and pink beach balls. We were the only ones in the pool, so the kids had a wonderful time.
