All you need to know
Hotel Zaza is a gorgeous spot that can really elevate your stay to the next level. There is a bit of French style sprinkled into the Texan area, so you are being transported away when retreating back to the hotel.
There are a total of 167 rooms, so if you do not want as much traffic, you may need to go with something smaller. However, boutique hotels at this size can often afford to bring some great perks. Some of the Zaza’s perks include a delicious restaurant, social bar, a swimming pool, and even more.
More specifically, the poolside bar is an awesome spot to relax. Even people who do not stay in the hotel want access to this spot. This is coupled with the Dragonfly restaurant that has a renowned chef creating meals on a daily basis. Dallas has a ton of great food options, but sometimes the in-house spot gives some great value.
Needless to say, staying at the Hotel Zaza brings some great features that some of the competition cannot. Although Dallas itself is the real attraction, you can come back to a comfortable, welcoming place.

Great location with very friendly and accommodating staff!!
Shuttle to and from the American Airlines center was a great perk. Complimentary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for our 35th anniversary was a nice treat. (Turned champagne into sodas and lemonade because neither of us drink)
Slightly sweet/spiced odor in the hallways.

Beautiful hotel. Small pool.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean.
We loved the pool area but there was never enough seating to enjoy it. People were literally rushing in front of us to reserve beds and then not use them. Quite frustrating.

It was okay.
The hotel is beautiful. I have stopped many times for drinks and appetizers. This was my first time to stay at the hotel. Having the coffee stations is a good idea, but why can't you have regular cream (not half/half) or milk. Soy and oat milks?? It was nice to have slippers and a robe. And they turned down my bed. The valet guys were courteous and prompt to retrieve your car. I was disappointed because on the room service menu it doesn't state there is a $5 delivery fee nor an automatic 3% room charge. Why didn't they have music Friday night to party at the pool? It was so dead at night over the weekend. What is the Metropolitan Club?
The loud rock music at the pool at 11 am. They should have played that loud music Friday night by the pool. I left the pool, didn't care for loud rock music, Smooth jazz my style. NO music over the weekend at night. I don't like soy or oat milk. Need to get rid of room service charges. BTW I did tip the delivery man $6 cash. Open the pool earlier. How about offering a cool drink and a cold towel at check in since it's so hot. I expected more from ZAZA.

The Zaza is always a wonderful place to stay
We were attending a burial at the Greenwood Cemetery which was 3 blocks away so it was very convenient. Also we had flowers for the burial and because of the heat, we were unable to store then overnight in our car... the hotel gladly stored them in an air conditioned room.
Nothing to not like. We had 2 teenagers with us and so spent time in the pool which had floating flamingos! and pink beach balls. We were the only ones in the pool, so the kids had a wonderful time.

It was just terrific.
It was the first hotel I stayed in for a long time where you genuinely seemed to like your guests. I travel a lot for work and always the hotels seem to hate their guests - this was extremely pleasant.

Solid choice in uptown Dallas. You'll be hard pressed to find better comfort and service at another hotel for the price.

Excellent Stay and Service
First-rate customer service and clean, well-designed rooms with comfortable beds. Always great showers with plenty of hot water.. Dragonfly Restaurant is known for good food, especially the breakfast. Lovely fountain-style pool area for relaxation but still big enough for kids to swim around. Usually a mix of couples and families.. Of all the ZaZa's in Texas, this is my favorite.
Wish pool and food service to pool stayed open an hour longer. Also every time we've stayed here there have been some late night revelers. If they end up next door to you there will be some spillover noise. Rooms are pretty well insulated though.

Wonderful place to stay in uptown! Above and beyond
The staff is fantastic. So friendly, helpful and welcoming. All of the valet workers are so nice and fun. Its the little things like putting cold water in your car when they bring the car to you. Beds are so comfortable. Rooms are huge and so clean. Coffee service on each floor by the elevator so you don't have to go all the way downstairs to get it
Wish they had free water in the rooms. $5 is ridiculous.
