Very friendly and helpful staff.

It’s very well located, the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The room is smallish but nicely decorated and very clean.
The breakfast was very nice as well.

The stairs to our room are a bit narrow and steep, but understandable because it is an old building.
A couple of finishings in our room were missing.

No facilities for hot & cold drinks, but available on request in working hours in reception. It felt like more of a single room airBnB with a daytime receptionist. There was a sharp & dangerous metal spike sticking out of the wall on the upper staircase.

The location was great, easy walk to everything, central enough but down a quiet street so place is very peaceful. Wonderful host, very helpful, rooms are very clean and felt cozy. Lovely courtyard downstairs and breakfast available which has a good variety. Loved our stay!!

Some parts of the room needed refurbishing. Small things which were not a problem but didn’t create a good impression: there is a hole in the wall where the door handle hits it, the shower had some mould because of no extraction fan. Not problems really but they need fixing.

The location of the hotel in the city centre is perfect, everything is just a stone's throw away. Benjamin and his team made us feel very welcome. I stayed at the hotel with my young daughter and we were even upgraded to a bigger room for more space and comfort. Would definitely book this hotel again.

This was our first visit to Bordeaux, we wanted to be fairly central. The location of this hotel is great, you can walk everywhere, the old centre, the river, even the City of Wine Museum although that was further than expected. The room was neat, and very quiet, the breakfast was a good continental spread, they bought top quality artisan gluten free bread for me as I am coeliac. The staff were delightful and there is a small private garage for parking your car.

The room was quite small, and the prices are fairly high, but that seems to be general in Bordeaux, dubbed little Paris.

Staff were great. The woman that welcomed me, was especially great. Super friendly - offered me a drink while I waited for my room. Location was great. Very quiet, but close to where I wanted to hang out.

Big cob web in my room. I didn't notice it the first day, but I noticed it the 2nd day. It was too high for me to reach, and I forgot to mention it to the staff the next day...it was there right to the end. Luckily there was no spider with it! ;-)
While I liked the place, I think having someone around 24hrs would be great. My last night there was an issue. None of my power outlets were working. My lights worked and my A/C worked, but I couldn't watch TV, work the hairdryer (luckily I didn't need it), recharge my phone, and I was limited with how long I could use my laptop (needed it for work).

My other issue is that my room was quiet at night, but it wasn't during the day. There was some staff room next to mine and people went in and out. It was a bit disruptive - but ultimately not a big deal.

Small little thing, I am use to hotel doors locking automatically when I close them. My door was a fire door, so because of the hydraulic, closed very slowly, and you had to really pull to close it faster. The door did not lock after you closed it, and I am sure I had left it unlocked several times before I discover that it didn't lock. My fault for not checking, but it would be handy to be told this on check-in for future guests.

Very small … & were told we got an upgrade and bigger room! Be careful on the stairs, not for anyone with mobility issues.

The location in town, the room and bathroom, the friendliness of the staff. The breakfast was nice, coffee with fresh milk.

Availability of warm breakfast items but nice French continental breakfast. But was very nice overall.

The room was pretty small and was up a turning flight of stairs which was a little awkward with suitcases.

Location is great if you are visiting the city center, very convenient to visit all the highlights that teh city offers, the hotel is an old building but well renovated. rooms are a bit small but confortable, very few rooms in this hotel.

Good location close to the centre but in a quiet side street. Compact and quirky retaining some original features. Rooms design oriented along clean Scandinavian lines.

Old original winding stairs might be a bit too steep for some guests.

No parking, to access to the room you have to use a very tricky stairs. If you have some of problem they would be imposible

This is a delightful little hotel in a good location. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. Our room was small but well equipped and had lots of storage and was perfect for 2 nights. The bathroom was surprisingly large.

There wasn’t much I didn’t like except it would be nicer if there was a proper area for breakfast and you didn’t have to order in advance.
