NoMad Hotel, London

Brilliant location for the West End. Hotel beautiful with all staff very helpful and professional. Gorgeous room - comfy bed, stunning bathroom and lovely period touches. Loved the little touches eg champagne for birthday celebration, bookmark for my novel and fresh milk in the fridge! Overall, classy, elegant and funky vibe (ask to see the cells!) perfect for all travellers looking for a little bit extra. Boutique but homely - will definitely be back.

TV a bit difficult to navigate - but minor gripe

Everything!!!! Staff was over the top both friendly and accommodating. They didn't miss a thing!!! Food was outstanding in the restaurant, location was perfect. Great location for walking covent garden and 1 black from the underground which took us everywhere!! Highly recommend Nomad. Oh and did I forget to mention heated bathroom floors? Awesome

That I had to leave 😪

My mother is 90 and I had mentioned that her circulation was not the best. Her room was extra warm on arrival and two hot water bottles were laid out on the bed. She was upgraded to a stunning room. The free afternoon tea on arrival (2 slices of Victoria sponge, 4 lemon macarons, 2 chocolate chip cookies per room) was superb and just what was needed after a long train journey. Also appreciated was the lack of a cloying overwhelming fragrance everywhere which so many hotels mistakenly seem to think is pleasant.

Slightly clutching at straws here since we had such a wonderful time. The passageways were a little dark and the signage to the rooms not the best (though the desire to be subtle was appreciated). Too much weird art in the rooms for my taste, but the next person might have thought it amazing. The mound of undressed lollo rosso with my (delicious) eggs benedict was superflous - put the eggs on a smaller plate and ditch the pointless garnish! And perhaps a more traditional breakfast might be available (or if it was available, mentioned somewhere) - cereal, toast, boiled eggs, not everyone wants truffles in the morning.

When choosing a hotel, you generally choose one that has restaurants, lounges etc available to use at your discretion. With an event on for a full day, we lost some of the options that we chose the hotel for over a 24 hour period. It’s not the end of the world but when you are in the city for such a short time, it’s disappointing. Also we didn’t appreciate ‘discretionary’ charges being automatically added to our bill. We would have preferred being asked verbally if that was something we wanted to do.

Hotel is superb. Rooms are excellent. Service was fantastic.

House keeping was amazing!

This property is amazing from the moment we stepped out of the cab until the moment we left! The rooms were perfect, clean, comfortable, and the air conditioning was wonderful. The rooms were very quiet. We had 2 rooms right next to one another. The shower was great! The concierge was so helpful, and made great recommendations. We had a little hiccup at the end where we extended our checkout by an hour the night before, but the staff hadn’t communicated it to morning staff, but they were gracious and it wound up not being a problem. The location is very central and you can walk to restaurants, the theater and shopping. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Fantastic location with great artsy rooms, great restaurants and bars in and around the hotel and friendly staff.

We asked for an early check in and that wasn’t accommodated which is unfortunate since we had 3 kids under the age of 5 who were all desperate for a nap. We arrived at 8.30 am and requested a 10/11am check in but ended up checking in at 3pm which was rather painful.

We liked everything! The food...the location...the staff! The staff were simply amazing! So friendly and helpful! I cannot recommend Nomad enough! Absolutely perfect!!

Second time staying at this hotel. This is an amazing hotel , very quiet and private. Excellent service and friendly staff. Would highly recommend this hotel to stay in when in London. I hope to return in the near future.

This has become my new favorite hotel in London. Excellent team, location and facilities. Charming old school hotel with every modern comfort available. Don’t stay anywhere else if you’re visiting London.

Everything! It feels like you are in a film - love the decor, attention to detail, thoughtful approach from the staff. Oh yes, and the old fashioned dial phone in the room!!

Rooms are small

Nomad London is perfect for a luxurious pampering well located in the heart of the theatre district (but a quiet part!) of London near Covent Garden. The decor is fantastic, the staff incredibly hospitable and attentive, and it is sometimes hard to leave this cozy and incredible hotel to go outside and enjoy the rest of London! I highly recommend the Library bar for cocktails either before theatre or at the end of a long and delightful day sightseeing. Our new favourite London hotel!

If I Had to be pedantic. A number of people had good seats in the library, sitting on their own nursing a coffee and working. Three of us were a little wedged in the corner.

Location (next to Covent Garden), charm (charming old building), ambiance (restaurant is popular in the evenings), room (beautiful), cleanliness, front desk, Christmas decorations, Fruit basket that was waiting for us in our room. Upgrading my mum to a beautiful suite. most things about this hotel is perfect.

Breakfast and the rude person serving it, so we had to find alternative place to have our breakfast not to run into him again, even though we had paid for the whole stay and the restaurant was very charming.

The place is too dark. Upon entering the hotel in the evening, it took several seconds before I activated my night vision. In the restaurant, an atrium which is quite lowell lighted in the daytime, is so dark I could hardly read the menu. At an 11:00 a.m. business meeting held in the red themed lounge, it was difficult to read typewritten documents.

From check in to check out, every moment of our stay was wonderful. The staff were amazing, they really went above and beyond to give a fantastic service and they were especially nice to my little dog, with custom baked treats for her at the room and even a treat for her at the bar! Will definitely be coming back!

Everything was perfect

Went back for a drink after theatre and there was no space to sit and drink in the hotel. We were offered a seat to wait for a place to become free but drinks couldn't be served there. I was disappointed given we were residents and it did rather provide a downer for the end of the evening. Gave the place a feel of a venue with some rooms above it !

The property is fabulous, its location is excellent however it is very pricey and the rooms are not super spacious. The restaurant has a lovely vibe too.

Hallway was very dark which creates ambience but actually difficult to see where you’re going.

Fantastic hotel with a number of restaurant/bar areas. Staff are amazing throughout and all go above and beyond to ensure a happy stay. The rooms are spacious and the decor is lovely. Our go to hotel when we come to London.

Amazing interiors, friendly very helpful staff, beautiful art and gorgeous library. The concierge and the door staff were great. Would stay again.

The food was not amazing.. the Nomad Fried Chicken snack was very below par. The oysters were delicious... but the snack food needs to raise the bar higher. Also the booking that was made for us we ended up in the basement rather than at the tapas bar central fun bit.. just a suggestion to make sure that its clear before dining.

Great ambience, lovely restaurant well illuminated and nice bars. Extremely clean, wonderful service from all staff, everyone was very helpful and kind. I particularly enjoyed the library area where you can have great drinks. The location is simply perfect, you can walk anywhere in the centre in about 10-20 minutes max. The room was spacious and well designed, great bathroom.

I would like to say thank you for such a lovely stay. From the door men, to check in staff, waiters and waitresses- everyone was so welcome and made the stay really special. We also really appreciated the upgrade of our room which was such a wonderful surprise and having the room ready for our early check in was lovely. It was also appreciated when you asked the type of milk we like with our coffee- we love a coffee in the morning and it was great to have it with oat milk which not many hotels offer.

Staff were fantastic and on check in escorted us up to our room, gave us a voucher for cocktails in any of the bars, familiarised us with the different hotel bars/restaurants and talked us through our room and the history of the hotel. All members of staff were very friendly and greeted us whenever we bumped into them.

Very small thing and I am being picky but on the doors it was difficult to see where to scan the card to open them.

Staff were superb, a proper luxury hotel feel. Loved the decor, I will be staying here again when coming to London.

Very clean, beautiful hotel. Rooms were small but well appointed. Staff was very professional and welcoming. Great restaurant with excellent coffee and food. Great shower pressure and very comfortable beds.

Room could have used a little extra space- was hard to squeeze two suitcases into the corner.
