The staff are always delightful.Patient.Kind.Efficient.

We went to breakfast at around 9.45am There were plates of little scrap bits of smoked salmon. A tiny end piece of avocado. I expected the foods to be replenished. They were NOT. We ended up eating dried up rice. A few cold spring rolls and very cold dried up fried potato wedges. This was extremely disappointing. We didn't enjoy breakfast or the experience in the Woods restaurant. At breakfast, there were 4 or 5 other couples that arrived after we sat down. They all had waiters going to them and bringing coffee.
Not one of the 5 or 6 waiters that were hanging around asked us if we wanted coffee or hot drinks. It was shocking!! I finally had to flag a waitress to bring us the bill. She gave me the bill. Our breakfast totalled 100 swiss francs. I paid with cash and waited for someone to come and collect it from the table. After 25 mins, we got up and took the money to a waitress and asked for a receipt. She said she'd bring one. She never returned. We were desperate to get on with our day. Eventually we asked again for a receipt. A waiter asked us if we ordered just one breakfast. This restaurant was NOT busy. How on earth did no one know what anyone was doing?? Customer service in the restaurant was dreadful. We didn't bother going back in to the Woods for breakfasts or dinner for the remainder of our stay.

Being ignored in the restaurant and food not replenished. No smoked salmon or avocado left and only dried up food available. Utterly dreadful!

The TV in the room was not working well. The screen would randomly turn black every 15 minutes or so.

The shower backed up and didn't drain.

On day of arrival. There was no body wash. The cleaning staff had left two bottles of hair conditioner instead of bodywash.
The maid apologised the next day and switched out one of the conditioners for a bodywash.

I truly enjoyed my stay at InterContinental Geneva; it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. I would like to especially thank Lobna for her high professionalism, her constant warm smile at the reception, and her continuous support with every request we made. I sincerely wish her all the best and continued success

A vintage yet extremely comfy and well maintained building, the Intercontinental Hotel Geneva is a place that stands out in History, having welcomed both great events and great people over the past six decades. It's always a pleasure to stay there and be greeted by the exceptionally friendly and dedicated staff. Bravo and keep up the good work!

really friendly staff and yummy hotel breakfast ,theres a bus station right next to the hotel so its easy to go around.
we only ordered ubers though and everything was close
there are bidets in the bathrooms!!!a special and important feature

We were told by a member of staff that we would receive some goodies due to it being our honeymoon trip and we did not receive anything. The menu options in the restaurant should be more diverse

It’s a beautiful property which is well connected to the bus terminal

Location is slightly off the central area so kinda 20 minutes by bus

Bathrooms are TINY - so if you’re travelling with family / elderly it’s a huge issue

Pool - it’s an outdoor pool when we all know the weather in Switzerland is cold. Meaning the pool can only be used for 3 months in a year and we couldn’t use it (like many others)

Cost is top end but it’s not a luxurious property and this is based on our stay in hundreds of hotels while travelling 20-25 countries till date

Amazing staff that are extremely helpful; we had a problem with the wifi and they went above and beyond to help us fix it. Breakfast was very good. Room is comfortable. Overall had a very nice stay here

Location isn't very close to city center; however, there are frequent busses that are free and take you directly to the center very easily. Ask for a bus pass that will help you get around

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Intercontinental Geneva, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed and valued. The gym facilities were top-notch, allowing me to maintain my fitness routine while away from home. The grand lobby exuded elegance and sophistication, setting the perfect tone for my stay. After a long day of meetings, unwinding in the sauna and hammam was pure bliss. And let’s not forget the breakfast spread – absolutely delicious and offered a wide variety of options to suit every palate. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Intercontinental Geneva truly exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to returning in the future.

While my stay at the Intercontinental Geneva had many positives, there were some aspects that fell short of expectations. Firstly, the size and bareness of the room left much to be desired. Additionally, the view from my room was disappointing. I also found the lack of basic amenities in the bathroom to be inconvenient. Furthermore, considering the price paid, I did not feel the hotel offered good value for money. Moreover, the concierge service was not as helpful as I had hoped, particularly when I needed assistance arranging a taxi while stranded in the city without data on my phone. Additionally, there were delays in receiving my luggage after check-in, as the concierge desk took a considerable amount of time to send it to my room. These factors detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay experience.

The room was excellent and especially with the upgrade!!
Definatley coming back there!

The staff was amazing very kind helpful and respectful I have traveled a lot been in many hotels but this hotel was the best never ever seen staff like them.

Great location. Outstanding architecture and style. Room with splendid views - except for two giant cranes working in the opposite building.

I loved how close it is to the United Nations Headquarters, the pool, and the overall artsy vibe of the hotel. The food at the restaurant downstairs, particularly the breakfast they offer, was absolutely delicious.

The mini-bar is way too overpriced, but the daily complementary tea in your room is a nice touch. One of the employees had a "mean French girl" attitude, butchering my last name every single time she saw me and then laughing about it, which I did not appreciate - it's not a difficult surname to pronounce, and if it was genuinely hard for her to do so, I'd rather she just stopped trying... That said, the rest of the employees I've met during my stay there were extremely professional and courteous, though.
