Good location

Rooms can be quite loud, especially when windows are open. Need to open windows in the summer because there is no AC. Lights that stay on in the dorm rooms 24/7 under the lockers, so if you can’t sleep with light, not your ideal dorm rooms.

the beds were comfy and cozy, and peaceful. no stress with leaving my things in there- felt safe.

I liked everything, the only small issue was that you needed a big lock for the storage space in the room but oftentimes travellers only had small locks and was unable to reach and connect the lock to safely store things.

The stay was lovely and everything was clean. Just a small note: the fixed showerhead could be more comfortable — it made showering slightly tricky.

First of all, I’d like to thank the hostel management and all the staff for kindly accommodating a special request I had. A special thanks goes to Janne at the reception (I hope I’m spelling the name correctly) for being so helpful and attentive — I really appreciated the support. A small note for future guests: if you’re planning to stay in a shared dorm and have asthma, allergies, or similar health conditions, be aware that the rooms can feel stuffy due to the lack of air conditioning and the number of people inside. Other than that, it’s a safe, comfortable, and pleasant hostel. The beds were very comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it.

The rooms were big enough to have multiple people store luggage, and there was still some room to move. I enjoyed the evening activities to meet people.

It's not a negative, but thought another additional family style dinner another evening a week would be a great way to meet other people. As one evening a week most people out on it.

The fact that it doesn't have any air conditioning(it gets really hot in rooms if you close the window and if you don't close the window it is too loud to sleep at night because of the traffics/tram station) and any kitchen :( Also the housekeepers were nice but some of them don't knock when they come into rooms so that was a bit uncomfortable Toilet and shower is a little bit dirty, especially the sink and the floor

Check-in was easy, and reception is occupied 24/7. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was pretty clean for hostel-standards. Nice design and interior, with some lovely details and unique ideas. It's nice that they provide lockers in the dorms. The additional locker-room in the basement is well thought-out. The hostel-location is great and very walkable, with good access to public transport. It's a good option for 1-3 nights, but I don't think that the price is justified in any way.

Towels cost 3€ extra, which is insane, considering the overall high price. Suitable locks for the dorm-lockers cost also extra, and many lockers need some maintenance. Overall too expensive.

I stayed in a 6-bed dorm, which was surprisingly clean and comfortable. Every day, I saw the staff cleaning the hallways, toilets, and showers, which really stood out. The bed and pillow were soft and cozy, and there were hot and cold showers available at all times. What I absolutely loved was how it was situated in the center of everything. The tram is literally five steps from the front door, and the subway is right across the street. There’s food everywhere — left and right — and the lobby has such a chic, welcoming vibe.

Nothing really that ruined my stay. But a little upgrade with bidet sprays in the toilets won’t hurt 😅

Tram stop just 2 minutes away. Free luggage storage was a big plus. The hostel has elevators, so no hassle with heavy bags. Bathrooms and toilets are shared per floor but kept clean. The staff were friendly, spoke good English, and made check-in easy. Plenty of cafes and food options nearby. Overall, a convenient and value-for-money stay!

The room was comfortable, the hostel had guided tours around the city and the staff were friendly. Had a baggage storage which was convenient to use.

Good comfy beds. There is a lounge, bar and restaurant at the property and it was good.

For breakfast you have to give the coupon at the ground floor where u get plates and coffee but the buffet is in the basement where the bar is.

It was my second time in Berlin and based on my previous stay, I didn’t hesitate to book again. Reception works 7/24 and people are always kind. I’m almost 30 now and I really don’t like loud noises anymore (and I guess have lower tolerance for late night parties) but the guests were mostly adults and rooms / spaces are soundproofed. Rooms are clean and secure and I love how comfortable their beds are. I have never tried Rosie’s breakfast but seems nice. There’s a bar downstairs and they give you one free beer, however I think the price range is high. Location is excellent! 15 mins walking to Alexanderplatz, very close to main streets (wanna drink a coffee at Hackesche Hofe? Just walk 11 mins and you’re there). There are also tram and u-bahn stations (rosenthaler platz) just in front of the hostel building. If I ever visit Berlin again, I’ll be there as always. Thanks for everything.

Nothing to add. Just the made should clean at least the floor every day please. Just buy a lock in time before someone of your roommates doesn't steal your stuff which actually happened to me. No one to blame, that was my fault.

Would thoroughly recommend this hostel to any traveller coming to Berlin. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, more than happy to help and answer any questions I had. There is a good secure luggage room which was helpful storing my bag prior to check in. Hostel felt very secure and safe with the keycard access and staff there 24/7. The location of the hostel is fantastic, U-Bahn immediately outside the hostel so really easy to get around Berlin. Lots of nice shops, bars and restaurants all within the area and only a 15 minute walk to alexanderplatz. The bedrooms itself are nice and spacious, good sized lockers for bags. however they do not already come with a lock so you can either bring your own or reception sell them for €6. Nice events on that are different each night which is a good way to meet other people. Both bedrooms and bathrooms always kept really well clean. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning next time I’m in Berlin :)

The only minor inconvenience (not the hostel’s fault!) was that because it’s on a main road it can get rather noisy, especially in the mornings. I’m a light sleeper so I would just recommend bringing earplugs if you would personally find it difficult to sleep. The curtains are not blackout so the room became quite bright very early so again didn’t have the soundest of sleeps but that is purely just down to my lack of being able to sleep like a log.

The room and facilities were clean, check in was very fast, and the location was great and very close to a variety of cafes, clubs, restaurants, as well as to the train lines which was super helpful.

There was nothing in particular that we did not like, except maybe that the window in the room did not open and the door to the balcony would sometimes jam.

Would highly recommend this hostel for any solo traveller because it is in Central Berlin, which means you don't need to get transport and the facilities in the hostel are amazing and they have a bar, which is great for meeting other solo travellers.

Exceptional place to stay in Berlin! The staff were very welcoming and knowledgable, our room (Double Deluxe 507) was exceptional - very quiet, sparkly clean, the bed was very, very comfortable and a superb balcony with views out over Berlin. The Breakfast option is a buffet, very plentiful, with delicious bread,ham,cheese,muesli,yoghurt and coffee. Easy to get to from the airport and right on the U Bahn and Tram stops. Also, there are some great places to eat right outside. This is the best place we have ever stayed in a European city and we will be back soon!

I love the location (in front of a metro) and the security of the hostel (the first hostel with safe in the private room) Also the staff is class A, I had a flight canceled due to a strike and they kindly extended my booking until my new flight, also they were so nice that they gave us a souvenir that will simbolize our trip to Berlin for ever, I cannot think a better place to be in Berlin.

We couldn't find any hair dryer, It might be a good idea to make them available for guests.

Great, well maintained property. Very nice and clean inside, friendly staff. The bed was comfy in my opinion. Shame I didn't spend more time!

A few little things here and there: the locker by my desired bed could not be locked due to bad positioning of the little "loops", one of the bathrooms could use a space to sit down while changing/ somewhere to hang the clothes.
