Hutton Hotel West End, Nashville

Reception staff (Devonte especially) couldn’t have been more helpful giving us not only a hotel list of recommendations but their own personal highlights of the city.

We asked for the sofa bed to be made up, first time they just left the sheets for us but they were damp. Went to exchange them and reception were very apologetic, got some fresh sheets which were still a little damp and made the bed ourselves despite reception saying housekeeping should have done it for us.

Both the breakfast and the dinner in the restaurant was amazing. Great design and great atmosphere! The lobby was perfect for relaxing a bit and hanging out. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were cleaned/turned down daily. I didn’t find the hotel to be noisy at all - we were on floor 6.

Very stylish and well done. Somehow hip AND cozy.

A few of the finishes are aging. Rusty light fixtures and tarnished mirror.

No handshower, only from above so hard to take a shower without getting your hair wet.

The staff, the vibe, the view from our room on the 11th floor! And Evelyn's restaurant was amazing!!!!

The only thing we should have had but didn't was a microwave in our suite. Other than that, it was great. I heard they're making upgrades, but a microwave in a room with a fridge and coffee etc is a must!

We told the housekeeping not to clean our room the first day of our stay, tomorrow is fine but never saw housekeeping again...ever. We did not have enough towels and when we returned that evening to see that the room wasn't cleaned, we just went to bed. When we needed towels the next morning of our last day; before leaving, there wasn't any housekeepers to get clean towels.

I thought the fee for self parking was high compared to other cities that I have visited.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Walking distance to the major city area however very easy to get transport if needed. The staff were all friendly and welcoming

I got a disabled space. Therefore I had really a big bath room and guest room. The Hotel was in very good state. Breakfast was excellent. Very friendly staff. People on the reception were friendly. Because it is the music city, musical performances took place in the hotel. Ask for an invoice, if you leave, afterwards it is difficult to get an invoice by E-Mail.

For me the only problem was that I underestimated the distance from the Hotel to the broadway and country row. Basically it can be done by walking. But I am 70 years old and have a small problem in my leg, it was a little bit stressful to get there by walking. My suggestion to the Hutton Hotel would be to implement a regular shuttle servic (every hour or so).

free parking like the internet said, parking was very expensive. One can of bar drinks had been opened and there were hairs on the bed. No breakfast, with that kind of charge for a room, free breakfast should be included in my opinion.

A few things in the room were a little rundown, the black dresser had nicks in it.

The bed was super comfy! Staff was helpful and friendly. Great location.

Everything from check in to departure. Plenty of helpful staff. Beds were insanely comfortable. And the fresh flowers in the lobby were icing on the cake!

Lobby, staff, live music in lobby, music venue, bed, location (once we figured out what was around us) food in restaurant, smell of lobby was fantastic, free water!. And to be clear things like over charges, issues with staff, restaurant not open (all from other reviews) did not exist, all of that was pretty great.

I provide this with the understanding that we'd definitely go back to the Hutton but near perfection can be had - toilet issues, would not flush twice (but fixed promptly), had suite, AC in bed room was wanting,, valves for shower and sinks were tricky to find the right temp, restaurant was great but it and bar not open late enough, no mart to buy snacks, drinks

Modern , easy access , good ambiance. Clean and spacious rooms.

Was a good 25 min walk from centre . They charged my card , 100$ per night and the refund is not immediate , can take up to 7 working days . As I didn’t owe them anything bar the parking I felt this was unnecessary .

Greeted by a friendly staff with smiles on their faces, the mid century modern lobby feels like your living room. Brunch at Evelyn’s is a must with Evelyn’s Benedict a must have with the grilled blueberry muffin and great service!

The only challenge is location on a very busy weekend.

Room smelt like cigarettes, some of the electronics didn’t work, and was generally a bit more shabby than expected The $400 damage fee then another $100 “incidentals charge” PER DAY was crazy. Hopefully this money goes back into my card quickly.

Everything was very nice, clean, and comfortable. They have great amenities if that’s what you’re looking for. We enjoyed our complimentary drink at the bar with live music. All of the staff was so nice with every interaction!

Loved this place!! Did not want to stay in just another hotel but wanted something different. The Hutton was perfect. Small enough that it was intimate and felt cozy and special. The lobby is just fabulous! We loved sitting down there listening to live acoustic music enjoying a beverage. The entire staff was so friendly and professional. I will definitely be back and telling everyone about them. It is not a place I'd take with small children not bc they aren't kid friendly but bc kids want pools and activities and this is not that type of hotel.

The bed was so comfortable. We had a suite and over the separate seating area. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming!

It would have been nice to have a restaurant on the property but I understand we were a week too early as it was opening the following week. It is walkable to downtown/Broadway but the heat in July made it difficult. We ended up using Uber to get around.
