Good location in South Yarra. Close to lots of restaurants and shops.

Cleanliness could have been better. There was a hair in the bathroom that 100% was not mine.

Close to family & Chappell Street food etc Nice pool to walk in. Ok gym Restaurant good. Great small toasties & fabulous coffee in small café opposite hotel. I liked the paintings on thevwall

No toilet or change room near pool & gym.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here for our anniversary. The room was a good size with a huge balcony. We asked for robes and they were delivered to our room within minutes - beautiful, soft towelling bathrobes. The bed is just amazing. Such a comfortable mattress. And the room was so quiet. The usual tea/coffee supplies and a kettle along with a coffee pod machine - perfect. Breakfast was a la carte and with great choices and all delicious. Excellent coffee! I love the little touches of a lolly station in reception - couldn't resist trying a few. It is in a great location for all the shopping, bars and restaurants of South Yarra. We loved it and look forward to returning.

Tv was postioned to the side of the bed - a very minor concern.

Great location. Public transport, Woolworths and many quality restaurants are within easy walking distance. Convenient that the hotel has a drop off/pick up zone at the front door.

Hotel was a little 'tired' - probably very lux about 10-15 years ago!

Staff were very friendly and the room was spacious. Loved the art work from the owner.

Clean and quiet and had a restaurant. Kitchens in the rooms.

It was small but I called and asked housekeeping for soy milk instead of dairy and they said I had to go down to the restaurant and ask for a cup and take it up myself which is a bit odd from other places I’ve stayed but also the restaurant was shut.

It was very clean, very modern and friendly staff.

We booked a deluxe room for five people and only got two beds.

Comfy bed. so close to south Yarra attractions and Yarra River path and the station. The heated pool! Overall it liked the place.

There was dried blood on the sheets and dust in some areas of the room. Room didn’t match description I booked - booked room with queen, kitchenette with microwave and bath but room had 2 singles, no kitchenette and shower only (Did have a balcony tho).

Good location, close to restaurants, shops and public transport.

Gym was too small, it got cramped with four people in it causing an overflow of workouts being done in the pool area.

Location and the amazing breakfast. Kids loved the lolly bar.

Bit of confusion with Bill as they charged our room someone's else's restaurant bill. It was sorted out. Also some confusion if the breakfast was included. This was also sorted.

The location is brilliant. I’ve stayed here recently in March and the hotel is close to a great number of shops and cafes and near the gym I use in Richmond. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and well equipped including Nespresso machines

Only small thing was the bathroom did not have much space on the vanity for toiletries

Pillows are too soft. Not the same as other Art Series motels. Bathroom was a little small but nice.

The service team at breakfast were absolutely diabolical. They have no concept of customer service. I ordered a fresh juice with my breakfast and it never came. After waiting 15 minutes I went to the bar to ask if I could collect it and was told to ‘wait, I am busy’. The waiter / reception person was serving 10 tables but couldn’t cope. A disaster to add breakfast to your package

Great location, great facilities, slight mix up with the booking (we were put in a lesser suite than we had paid for) but this was resolved. The rooms needed a bit of painting and maintenance but otherwise good.

We stayed in room 706. The toilet seat was hanging by a thread- very loose.

We had a fabulous studio , BUT the entry door failed to open after we’d dropped our luggage off. The staff were accommodating and the manager offered us a drink in the bar as he thought it would be a quick fix. It took over an hour and were then told we were being moved to a “superior suite” . It wasn’t better, it had smaller bathrooms, but it had a balcony which was no use to us. Breakfast was good, but I got the impression that it was not a well maintained hotel, eg the safe didn’t work (in the 1st room), the 1 lift had access to all floors unlike the other 2 which could only be accessed with the security key. The signage on doors and lifts had broken lettering and the lift floor at the doors needed to be repaired. It’s a great location despite the unpleasant experience.
