Ibsens Hotel, Copenhagen

We stayed here for sightseeing, it was within walking distance to all of the churches and castles. The crew was very friendly and the room was very clean. We ate breakfast at the hotel, which was a large and delicious buffet. When you book a small room, it is going to be small especially the bathroom. Overall the hotel was amazing, it was clean, had a comfortable bed and soft towels. That's what is most important to me.

A beautifully clean and stylish hotel, just a 5-minute walk from the metro and city center! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the room was immaculate.

Hotel in a very convenient location, close to the metro but also if you want to take a few walks to the center. Very kind and always smiling staff. Perfect cleaning. Recommended!

The staff were friendly and kind. The location was perfect and right near Nørreport Metro and train station. We had a top floor room which was cozy but spacious. Room and hotel was clean and the cozy hour was a lovely touch.

Only one elevator but stairs were accessible so this had no affect on our stay.

The location is just the best for a very local experience. We fell in love with the city and, the hotel is just perfect for a short stay and enjoy the city, eating out and explore all around.

The receptionists were very friendly ready to help all the day. The best location, just next to the city centre

Lots and lots to like about this hotel - room was lovely and the breakfast and the staff were really first class. Hotel was near Norreport Metro station and so was very well connected. Can't say there was anything we disliked and will definitely definitely be back. Thank you for a great visit.

Great location, very kind staff, nice rooms and overall vibe, good and rich breakfast. Breakfast and fitness room are in sister hotel so might not always be ideal.

You have to go outside through the courtyard to the breakfast area in the adjacent hotel, which was no problem in fine weather, and the breakfast was varied and healthy.

Loved the cozy hour and how warm the room was. Also that we were allowed to store our luggage before we left in the afternoon

We couldn’t get the bathroom radiator working so it was quite chilly in there

We arrived at the hotel for our 3 night room only stay around noon and the receptionist explained that our rooms weren't available till 3pm which we had been made were aware of before our arrival. We asked could we check in now, store our luggage and go off for something to eat and collect our keys later? This wasn't a problem. Our room was bigger than we expected and spotless clean. The bed and bed linen was lovely and the bathroom had everything we needed. The area around the hotel was felt safe. All the staff we had the pleasure of speaking to were so helpful and couldn't have been anymore helpful and friendly.

Certain customers were slightly rude but that’s life! And tbh really not particularly bad in the order of things :) Slightly bad noise levels in the room I was situated in, I don’t personally mind that as I respect it’s an old building but some may have issues on the first floor :) Hard to fault!!

The room was small but perfectly proportioned. The breakfast was wonderful and location excellent. The free wine / beer at the daily happy hour was excellent.

The bathroom was extremely tiny.

Clean, cosy, great staff!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Asked for a large twin room and got a very spacious and comfortable room. A luggage room with a code to hold luggage until the room was ready. Checked in online before hand and downloaded an app and I received a notification with the room was ready and I could use the app as a key. Cosy hour between 5 and 6pm was a nice touch with a free drink.

Excellent location- 15/ 20 minute walk to centre/ attractions/ nightlife and only 5 minute walk to train & Metro stations with direct link to airport. Clean, well equipped room, perfect base for 2 friends sharing a room.

A wonderful stay! The hotel was beautifully detailed, with stunning flowers and a calm, elegant lobby. The staff was exceptionally kind and caring, making the experience even more special. I also enjoyed the partnering hotel’s excellent breakfast and relaxing SPA treatment. Everything was perfect, and I will definitely choose this hotel again!

Not much really. More tea in the rooms and a better hairdryer would be appreciated.

Location was perfect and very central, very close to a metro station that is convenient for both going around the city and for the airport. The room wasn't very big but still very comfortable for two people and very warm! The staff was very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a getaway in Copenhagen, since the hotel surely met our expectations!

It would be more convenient if the room also had a small fridge.

The toilet was very clean ,no smell at all but old model and toilet bowl marks of yellow lines from where flush water coming out not mark of dirt it’s from mark of too old.needs to be change made me scared to use but it’s very clean just the marks and the looks of it.that’s the only one thing needs to improve but if not it’s 100% perfect.

The property was in perfect location with a lovely bar/cafe area near reception. It was clean and we got it at a very reasonable price for a room of 3. We loved the cosy club every evening- good way to speak to others in hotel. Staff were really friends and provided good options to eat etc!

The bathroom was a wet-room style which isn’t my favourite but didn’t detract from the overall experience too much.

It’s quirky, arty and the rooms are not clinical like many hotels. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and added to the pleasure of the stay .

The property is within walking distance to all the city center attractions. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities. Also, hotel has a very cosy lobby, where you can stay for a drink or two. Best part is breakfast! Fantastic breakfast with fresh food, pancakes and unlimited coffee.:)

There’s nothing that bothered me during my stay.

Pretty “hygge” hotel, comfortable. Staff is so amazing! The view from the room is beautiful. So much organic. we like you can go to have breakfast since 6:30 up to 11:00.

The bathroom is small and bed too. Breakfast is not cheap. And you have to go another building, winter is not good time for that. door handles are cold. It needs covers.

The lobby has a nice area where to get a nice espresso and pastries and a glass of wine or beer.

I love the vibes of this hotel and the kindness of the staff
