Ibsens Hotel, Copenhagen

So friendly, so helpful. My son got married in Copenhagen and the hotel staff made it so special. When we came back they had a glass of bubbly for us all. A pleasure to stay there, I would totally recommend it

Very little to dislike, we had a beautiful room on the second floor and the lift was a bit noisy but didn't ruin our stay

The location was perfect! Right in the heart of central Copenhagen

Could use some updating. Hallways are old and creeky, not fond of the wet room style in the bathroom, the room did not have a safe or a refrigerator.

Lift access to luggage storage was very slow when lots of people waiting to use it

Little bit noisy floor in front of our room and walls should have better sound isolation.

Staff were light-hearted, fun, and knowledgeable. Good systems in place. Luggage room to store luggage upon early arrival. Check in at 3pm. Large cafe / bar area downstairs to relax in with a toilet available.Social hour from 5 - 6 pm, including one free glass of wine.Direct route from Airport to nearest metro station, no changes required. Lots of restaurants and a laundrette within walking distance of hotel.

Rooms were on the small side, though they did have tea and coffee making facilities. No baggage racks to leave you bags on in your room.

The room is fairly clean. The staff are very nice and helpful. There is a free happy hour every day offering free beverages and drinks. The location is pretty convenient as you can walk to the metro and train station in 5 minutes and many tourist attractions in around 20 minutes. The neighbourhood is also safe at night. It is a good choice for solo travellers looking for a budget trip.

The corridor can be very noisy in the early morning. The bathroom is very tiny and the toilet and shower are very close together so the whole room would get wet after showering. However, everything is clean and functional.

A bit noisy if you opened the window to let some air in. I like to have open windows at night but it was too noisy.

Clothing storage, wet room was too wet, promised a taxi when signed up and no instructions on how to get it, emailed later, told missed deadline.

I don't think breakfast was worth the price. Beautiful venue at the adjoining hotel, but food selection was rather weak.

Ideal location, lovely friendly staff, fabulous breakfast at their sister hotel Kong Arthur. Cozy o Clock drink at 5pm most welcome.

For me mattress too soft. Care needed in wet room style shower due to slightly lower floor. Shower not very powerful

Lovely hotel with bonus of free glass of wine every evening during Hygge. The rooms were well presented but a little small and dark, the bathroom was quite small too. The location was great, walking distance to Nyhavn and Norberro, and lots of food options around.

Clean, quiet and comfortable

Very friendly and in a central location. Easy to get to from the airport on the metro. Love the cozy hour each evening with a glass of wine, beer or juice offered. Price was pretty good for Copenhagen, bed was slightly smaller than we'd have liked but overall very good.

Room was nice and spacious - bed was a little bit small but other than that everything was perfect. Cosy hour was the highlight and the location was brilliant, Staff were helpful and the sitting area was really nice
