Harding Hotel, Dublin

Great location, friendly staff, very clean

I liked the location near the river, in the Viking area of the city and that the building had character. The desk staff was very helpful in setting me up to use public transit and booking my bus to the airport at the end of my stay. If you spend time in the hotel there are a few things to enjoy in the building.

Cost was higher than I’d expected - the breakfast room was very busy in the early morning. - hard to get a table.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was beautiful and fairly priced. Would highly recommend.

The location is perfect , close to the main attractions and everywhere is so walkable. The hotel has a handy pull in spot outside so I was able to drop my bags off and take my rental car back easily. The staff were really on top of everything. Room was comfy and the restaurant (which has a street facing entrance as well as one from the hotel) was very popular and the food was excellent. Did not try the bar but seemed lively with the sounds of people enjoying themselves.

Great location in the middle of the centre. Dublin Express from airport stops around the corner. Large somewhat dated room (but very charming), clean and comfortable bed. Iconic building! Highly recommendable.

The noise from the pub downstairs was very annoying. When booking ask for a room not above the pub!

Great location , close to everything . Staff were very friendly and helpful and very handy to have a lovely breakfast before leaving. Excellent food for dinner in the evening. Will definitely recommend it and come back 👌

Great location. It’s at the quieter end of a very busy tourist area..The staff were really lovely and the food / entertainment was great.

The furniture in the room needs updating but the room was clean and comfortable. We would have liked a better view rather than a gable wall and office windows but for one night it was fine. We found the unisex toilets in the main entrance a little cramped and off putting.

A great traditional hotel in a fabulous location within walking distance of major attractions. The staff and really friendly and so happy to help.

The bells from the church waking me up, but that can’t be helped. Shower wasn’t overly powerful but it was warm and did the job.

the location was excellent close to everything in the city. I would like to highlight the friendly hotel staff, as well as the bar staff in the hotel. Tom, John, Dio was amazing! The breakfast was also really good. Good value for this money, I highly reccomend

A bit old hotel, but nice

We were above the bar's courtyard and was noisy until 11pm. Also, we paid more money than expected because of Easter Weekend

Fabulous location for exploring the historic city center. Numerous city transport options within 100 meters. Onsite bistro and bar a huge plus. Friendly staff at check-in, checkout, and in-between. Beautiful view of Christ Church Cathedral, enjoyed the chiming of the bells. Relatively spacious room.

Niggling details: carpet unattached along one wall, so would ‘bunch’ when walking across. Toilet seat improperly balanced, would not stay up without a knee for support. Windows leaked cool air, even when latched.

The breakfast was great, the pub always crowded at night and with life music.

Nice room, good bed. Modern elevator, very good breakfast with table service. In-room-safe, updated and modern bathroom. Nice bar "Darkey Kelly's" was right next to the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff.

Our dinner was very good. The bar had a fun atmosphere with live Irish music, while the Masters golf tournament was on their big screens.

Reception experience was excellent, it was the only interaction we had during our stay and it was really friendly and welcoming

This is a small cozy hotel. My room was spacious. The location is convenient to everything and the price is very reasonable. The staff was warm and welcoming. My go to hotel in Dublin

The room was lovely very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, The food was fantastic and reasonably priced (We had dinner and breakfast). We came up for a concert in the 3Olympia which was a 2 minute walk away so the location is perfect for there or the Temple bar experience. I found it very family friendly.

The heating in the room was a bit hot and cold during the night but nothing major really.

Great position for going into town but just outside the party zone. Room comfy and warm, good breakfast. Bar with live music and food does stairs Tey for a room 3rd floor up and at back if you're not in the bar til late. Would stay again for sure.

The location of this hotel is perfect for seeing Dublin - it's close to the main sites and has good access to buses to the airport and other areas of the city. Our room had an excellent view of the Cathedral. There is a nice restaurant downstairs and also a pub with great live traditional music!

Cleanliness and location

We have stayed in the Harding Hotel a few times before, the location is great for us. We get the train from Belfast to Connolly St Station and walk to the hotel, although you can take a bus from the train station no problem. It is perfect for us as we were going to a gig in Vicar Street which is within walking distance. The room is comfortable and the bar and restaurant are great.

Office staff was exceptionally friendly, courteous and informative. Natalie was exceptional.

Tuesdays band in the pub was just too loud and quite honestly, not good either.

We knew the building was older so we did not expect everything to be modern. That was part of the charm we were looking for. What we loved was the room was very spacious, the heater was easy to manage and it had a safe. Very clean, perfect location and the staff was not only friendly, but very helpful regarding setting up a taxi for us.
