Very clean large room , helpful professional staff

I like the room size and it was nice to be able to heat up left overs. Staff was nice and answered the texting system very quickly for any requests.

It's right next to a fire station and goodness was that loud and frequent. Also on booking it does say a $100 deposit fee, but had to pay $300. I know you get it back, but now it's something you have to factor in. Pillows also inconsistent with some being super thin. Would've like having a smart TV so I could stream over cable TV with so many ads.

Desk staff were especially polite, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Other guests I met were friendly. So were the Chicagoans I encountered.

Can't complain about anything. My room wasn't fancy or spacious, but it was nice. A good value for a downtown location,

The location of this hotel is just absolutely terrific for getting around in the downtown area of Chicago. We used the gym, which has a good selection of gear, as well as the pool, which is lit by a large skylight.

We opted to not pay for valet parking, instead choosing to park our car for the weekend in one of the many garages in and around this area, which ultimately was just as good, only thing is we had to carry our bags to the hotel for a couple blocks.

I didn't care for parking a few blocks away and being charged so much for parking my car overnight. Though I understand it was a discounted price it still was a bit expensive for me.

Steph wasn’t super friendly and nobody told us how to work the elevator it took us a minute to figure it out.

Location was so close to Downtown and the Riverwalk and the lake! Public transportation was nearby!

Definitely could use some “sprucing” up.

Great location, friendly staff, good amenities and breakfast. We enjoyed the lounge room in the second floor that has coffee and tea available all day long.

Good location. Very clean. Complimentary breakfast was very good. I arrived prior to check in time but was given a room right away.

Policy of placing a $400 damage fee on the credit card. Supposedly it’s refundable but I haven’t seen it yet.

It’s really nice, the beds are cozy, I like the pool and yea overall thumb up. Located near all the things. The river walk is a 20 mins walk/6 min uber ride.

Parking sucks. The garage is 2 blocks away.

Bed was more uncomfortable than other hotels we’ve stayed at for a similar price point. Parking was a few blocks down which was a little bit of a hassle with kids. Pool was cool which was unfortunate as it was a cooler day out so it seemed even colder than normal. Kids liked the breakfast waffles but would pass on the eggs.

Very clean and secure. I loved that you needed a room key to use the elevator. Room was really nice and comfortable. The staff was amazing and quick to bring extra blankets when I called the front desk.

We've stayed at this hotel a couple times and the staff is always so friendly and helpful! The walkability for downtown is great too.

The cleanliness, staff, and breakfast were all amazing. The location was superb as well.

Walls are thin so you might be able to hear your neighbors if they’re noisy like ours were.

Delish complimentary breakfast, beautiful hotel, beautiful suite, great view from the room, clean room, safe and lovely location. The hotel is within walking distance of nice restaurants. The staff answered all of our questions, and were very nice and attentive. Raul was very nice and helped us figure out bus/subway options throughout the city, which was also helpful. The lobby is gorgeous and great for pictures!

The parking situation is kind of weird. Parking is not available at the hotel and the hotel front desk staff tell you the location of parking. You then have to find the parking garage, get the ticket, walk back to the hotel and then the hotel staff will endorse or stamp your ticket so you don't have to pay for parking at the garage. The parking tab is then added to your final hotel bill. But if you are not familiar with the city, having to park several blocks from the hotel and then walk back to the hotel is super inconvenient.

The staff were great and the room very nice. We had a corner room suite that was very spacious. The breakfast was actually delicious.

The couches were not comfortable but the beds were.

Awesome location, in the heart of Chicago, less than a 5 min walk from the riverfront. As for the hotel itself, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We also had a microwave in our room, which came in handy. Everything was spotless. Bathroom was also quite spacious. There was a small gym and a pool, that we found quite relaxing after a long day of walking all around the city. There was a small outdoor area, next to the pool. Unfortunately it was too cold to sit outside, but during the warmer months we imagina its a nice place to sit in and maybe have a meal, or whatever. Complimentary coffee is offered on the first floor, in the breakfast room, all day long. Our rate included breakfast (buffet) with plenty of options. Staff was also incredibly helpful, always readily available for anything we needed. A special shout-out to Jody Tsang, thank you so much!!

The pool isn't heated. It's an indoor pool, so the pool room, even during the winter months is quite warm, however the water isn't as warm, as it isnt heated, and takes some getting used to if you want to go for a swim, but it is doable so, not deal-breaker.

I loved the beds and how spacious the rooms was. I enjoyed the little kitchen area. I also enjoyed the safety measures when going on and off the elevator.

I did not like the little shelf in the shower underneath had mold or some kind of residue on it. I did not like how hot the pool area was, it was exhausting, and how cloudy the pool looked. I would recommend using baking soda instead of chlorine. A hot tib would be a nice addition since there is patio space. Also there needed to be more options for breakfast would be nice.

The staff was nice and helpful, the shower was hot, the beds and pillows were comfortable. The location was great.

Only thing I was thoroughly concerned about was how dirty the pool was. It doesn’t look like it’s maintained at all throughout the day and it was so much stuff floating in the pool I didn’t even get in.

The location was nice and walking distance to a lot of things. The rooms were also pretty large for a big city.

Took a long time to get an elevator in the morning to go to breakfast and to leave the property. It was full of families which was fine, but main spaces were a bit chaotic.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. There is an indoor swimming pool and a workout room.

I had trouble with my digital key which caused a minor issue but was quickly resolved. And. I don't like that parking is not automatically included or connected to the hotel but that is common in the Chicago area.

I didn’t like booking.com service and reservation, trying to cancel protaction plan or insurance which i add by mistake,they where keep transferring me from person to person, saying go online and do it , charging the room was the same problem , that would be the last time doing reservations by Booking .com.

The ambience, Jody at the reception was so awesome, the bed was so comfortable, the pool was well maintained, breakfast was good I loved it.

There were hair strands stuck on the ceiling of the bathroom. So maybe that can be improved

Everything was good except no shower curtain until we asked for one , Water was everywhere with out it.

Loved everything about the hotel except for the poor sound isolation between adjacent rooms. The room was clean with everything needed. Overall, a great value-for-money hotel, will consider it for my next visits.

Since I was coming to present at a major conference and hoping to get some rest prior to the workdays there, my only complaint was the poor sound isolation between the adjacent rooms. My neighbors next door were rather loud partying over spring break throughout both nights of my stay. That said, the staff immediately addressed my complaint.

It would have been nice to have the suite kitchenette stocked with glasses, plates, and flatware. The bathroom ceiling could use a scrub/fresh paint.

I liked the different options of breakfast items, and they were different each morning of our stay. The room was very clean. I also enjoyed the city view from my window. The staff welcomed us with smiles and kindness.

The breakfast area was very crowded; however, it met my expectations for hotel food. I wish there were more tables and less congestion when making waffles, and better directions. The parking situation was fine but a two block walk.

I asked ahead of time for extra pillows and towels, and I had to go down and ask for them, and I only received the towels.

Location was great! Staff very friendly and helpful! Breakfast typical and perfect for family.

Bathroom shower showing signs of mold and could use some new caulking. Can tell it’s an older building with remodel. Overall, great place! We would stay there again.

The staff was always friendly. They gave good recommendations and always had nice conversations.

Pool was decent but no towels when we went. Facial tissue in the room is very harsh on the nose.
