Hotel du Vin One Devonshire Gardens, Glasgow

The place is very beautiful and classic. If you are into these kinds of hotel themes, I definitely recommend it. Also, the staff were very helpful, polite, and professional, and I look for it in every hotel I travel to. The breakfast was nice too and delicious. My rooms were clean & tide. The services were great and fast, I asked for a room with a view & they provided quickly, this alone is enough for me to come back again to this hotel if I travelled in the future. Highly recommended 👌

The hotel lacks elevators ( lifts ). I hope they add it in the future. Another, it is a little far away from the central city location. You have to go by a ride about 8 to 12 minutes to get there.

Room was of impressive dimensions, very comfortable and beautifully decorated if a little worn in places.

Our stay was almost perfect. A small issue with breakfast buffet. No plates or serving utensils on the breakfast buffet table but once the staff were made aware of this it was immediately rectified. Great welcome, very comfortable room, all with the bonus of free parking right outside the hotel. Can’t wait to stay again.

Quality products well cooked and served. As we travel with our dog we had breakfast in the bar And the space was great.

Limited range of juices. No safe in the room unlike virtually all other 5 star hotels. The access to Great Western Road is difficult from the M8, the road repairs on the elevated section have been ongoing for how many years? Is there any update when they will be completed?

Complementary upgrade , excellent food

The VD menu we had booked for dinner priced 69 wasn’t available an excellent tasting menu was substituted priced at £85 a head our only comment was the price difference wasn’t discussed with ourselves prior to being presented the bill . The food was exceptional so we didn’t challenge the price but for constructive feedback that could of been made more transparent in advance of the meal or by waiting staff .

Gorgeous room, really good size and very comfortable. Loved the bed and had a great night’s sleep. All staff were really welcoming and friendly from the moment I arrived and I would definitely choose to stay here again when back in Glasgow. I really enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar, great for a few drinks and dinner and just a really nice cosy, welcoming atmosphere to relax with a book

Nice welcome to hotel and lovely place to stay. Room was lovely and could have slept all day in the bed. Probably why I overslept on first night and missed breakfast, which is a first. Hotel bar quite small for the size of hotel

Lovely shower but wouldn't adjust properly and was either cold or far too hot. Breakfast was slightly unorganised with orders going to wrong tables and quite a few used tables that hadn't been turned over, so just had to sit at the few tables where there was cutlery set

The decor, historical feel and proportions give the place an opulence that makes for quite a stay. Great area, quiet but walking distance to all the main facilities in the West End. Loads of public car parking round the corner.

Stayed here for my partners 30th birthday and had a lovely time. Great service and they even left us some happy birthday compliments.

Bedroom was too hot. Under floor heating in the bathroom was on all night. Didn’t know if it could have been turned off .

Nothing really had a spot of bother with the cash or app only parking meters . But that's nothing to do with the hotel.

Everything! Sunday night deal for £109, evening meal and wine for £146, a perfect treat. The toiletries, l’Occitane, were lovely and the shower was super strong, check out at 11am let us have a leisurely morning.

I didn’t like having to get up at 8am to put a ticket on my car!
