The Cosmopolitan Hotel, Las Vegas

Room was generally great, staff was kind, nice restaurants at the hotel

I've stayed before and everything was perfect, but this time the cleanliness was subpar. There was a corner in the bathroom obviously not cleaned when I arrived (visible toilet paper remains) and the next day the cleaner left their washing cloth on top of a lamp

Locaion was good. It was very convenient and easy to access everywhere since this hotel is located in the central area.

The room was unnecessarily spacious, but the lighting was inadequate and it was dark.

Elevators took forever. It seemed like some of them for our floor (59), weren’t even on because the only ones that ever came were on one side of the wall.

Check in staff was excellent and helpful. Location was excellent Room was clean and tidy but could do with modernising and would have expected in room music system and control centre for lights, music curtains etc. Balcony had great views of the fountain and strip.

Staff at the sports book bar were slow and not very attentive.

I liked the location a lot. You feel safe within the hotel. As it was a girls trip for us, it was important. The parking (extra 20 bucks) and check in-check out was ok. Although, the receptionist (Hello Mayra) tried to help my problem, she couldn't help. The hotel was good with its hidden rooms and spectacular view.

I choose a double bed room and I requested a fountain view. I did it that way because the hotel said it will be ok. However, when I went to check in they said it's not ok for a one night stay. So I had to pay extra and changed my room from a double bed one to a king bed one due to the fountain view.

The location of The Cosmopolitan is absolutely unbeatable. We stayed in a Terrace Suite with a fountain view, and the sight of the Bellagio fountains from our spacious balcony was nothing short of magical—especially at night. Sitting out and watching the fountain shows was a highlight of our trip, though it was too hot to enjoy the balcony during the day. The hotel is conveniently connected to the Miracle Mile Shops via a short indoor walkway, or you can cross the street into Planet Hollywood to access the stores. This mall offers a wide range of reasonably priced restaurants and shops—definitely more affordable than the food and retail options within The Cosmopolitan itself. If you’re looking for snacks, fruits, or quick essentials, skip the Cosmo’s in-house store (which is wildly overpriced) and walk over to Miracle Mile instead—you’ll likely save 30–50%, depending on the item. The casino floor was well-ventilated, and we barely noticed any smoke indoors. This was a welcome contrast to The Wynn, where the casino felt smoky even while dining in an open restaurant near the floor. Eggslut is one of the few on-site breakfast options, and while the food is fantastic, be prepared for a wait—lines start forming as early as 7:00 a.m., and it took us around 30 minutes to get through. We didn’t travel with kids, so I can’t speak to family-friendly amenities, but for couples or adults seeking a central location, stunning views, and easy access to dining and shopping, I would highly recommend The Cosmopolitan.

The in-room dining service was prompt but quite overpriced, as were the minibar and fridge items (even bottled water), which we avoided altogether. The bathroom was spacious and stylish, but when we arrived, the shampoo and conditioner holders were empty and there was no toilet paper stocked. Thankfully, a quick call to room service resolved this promptly. However, the biggest drawback—and frankly, a surprising oversight for a hotel of this caliber—is the complete lack of an in-room coffee or tea setup. No coffee maker, no kettle—nothing. For travelers who enjoy a morning cup without heading out, this was a real letdown and felt like a basic amenity that should be non-negotiable.

Loved the room, the one we picked was big and clean. I liked the location of the hotel. Beautiful view from the balcony.

Check in was kind of crazy, lots of people and a big line. Manageable tho. Valet staff 10/10, but reception could do a better job, some people were kind others not so much.

Minimum bet at most tables I wanted to play was $25. Adjacent tables were $50 minimum bet. That's too high.

Balcony views were great!

I was under impression that I had a room that had also bathroom/tub views of Bellagio fountains., but it did not.

The staff went over and above at check in really appreciated their help.

Restaurants were excellent. Great selection of food. Loved the speak easy - The Ski Lodge was the best.

The bell hop service is completely inefficient in that it takes longer for the bellhop to arrive than it would if one could retrieve a luggage cart and load their own luggage. With twenty guests in line to check-in, there were two receptionist, again not a very efficient way of providing a pleasant guest experience.

check in process was a disaster. at a little after 5pm you had 4 open desks checking in staff. you had guests going to the check out line and being accepted to check in in other words no vetting of what guests were doing. Checking in sets expectations for the remainder of the stay and this was a bad start. not even a word of apology from front desk staff either

The man at check in was excellent. The room was good and the view was phenomenal, looking right over the Bellagio fountains. Room service was great, the food was above the usual room service standard and arrived quicker than expected for such a huge and busy hotel. The hotel itself had good facilities, and the staff were friendly and efficient. There was adequate space to sit at the hotel, and wait until our evening flight. All in all, a lovely few days spent at the hotel.

Bit confusing about how to get the room cleaned. It didn’t get cleaned for 3 days, but not entirely sure that wasn’t because we didn’t request it.

The only issue I experienced was the staff continued to direct me to lost and found when I inquired about a sweater I left in one of the property’s restaurants. I was hoping to get it back quickly the next morning (given it was a restaurant I left it in versus somewhere in the hotel), but I was pushed into a black hole of their lost and found process where no one answers the phone - ever. I filled out the online form which responds “if you don’t hear back from us, we didn’t find it”. No empathy from a few staff members about it other than a shoulder shrug. Disappointing.

Let down on multiple occasions. Came for our wedding and despite reaching out multiple times I wasn’t messaged back, no email returned and at every opportunity I tried to make something special for us the Cosmopolitan let us down EVERY TIME!!! Extremely disappointing. Came here to save money over the Bellagio Penthouse but the truth is sadly the service does not match up

Great location, spacious room

Some lights were not working. We reported this twice but they were not fixed while we were there. The room was very dark. Also the fridge only seemed to work some of the time. We had to throw out 2 lots of milk because of this. We then put out items in the minibar fridge and then they tried to charge us $15. We did not have anything from the minibar. The charge was rescinded. When I told the reception lady about al this on check out she was very disinterested. These things applied an otherwise fantastic experience.

The location is outstanding.

I left clothes in my room which of course was totally my mistake. I contacted lost property and explained the "exact" location in the room that I left them. This was within 24 hours of departing. They said they couldn't find them which really disappointed me. Probably enough not to return to the Hotel in the future.

Some of the bar staff very rude asking for a bigger tip.... Perhaps if vegas in general had not raised prices so much in last year it would be better. I have been coming 20 years dont know if i will be back.....gutted to be honest

The view was amazing!

The plumbing on the sinks and shower need to be fixed; water temp was unpredictable and sinks leaked from the knobs. Horrible cell reception.

Mattress on the bed was old and worn out. Room was great, but the mattress needs replacing.

The hotel staff seems thin and not capable as the check in process was an hour long and there was NO porter service for bags offered. The nightclubs outdoor music, playing from Wed - Sun until 4AM, shakes the entire Boulevard Tower.

The price for 2 days was to much for 2 days, the toilet room light was out when I checked in to the room. Maybe because there was some type of green molding looking stuff on wall , corner behind toilet

The hostess gave us an upgrade when we checked in. The room was excellent, super big with 2 bathrooms.

The room was very close to the elevator and we could hear the engine every 20 seconds during all the time we stayed. Also the room service crew removed the do not disturb card without our authorization, and entered the room without knocking while we were still there at 10:30 AM. The checkout is at 11:00. the room was relatively dirty because I could see dust in every surface of the TV, mirrors, bed frame etc. One of the TVs was broke. For the price of the room, comparing to other hotels, this one did not offered cotton pads, Q tips and hair caps.

Brilliant location, the Hotel is so cool and such a good atmosphere. We visited from the UK and absolutely loved it. So many hidden bars and not so hidden pizza restaurants.

Massive Queues at Check in but its Vegas and to be expected and the 'hidden' pizza restaurant queue is about 45 minutes every night.

Room is without Wi-Fi and breakfast. Service support to the room is very weak. Please speed up the response time to guests.

Allocate a room that is ready to occupy and not ask guest to wait for repair especially lights are out of order. Checked in 3pm and the room is very getting dark.

I had a lot of bags in this transit through vegas, I found the staff to support with bags pretty rude on both arrival and leaving, not what I’ve seen in other hotels

The staff at check in was awesome. The in room service dinning staff exceptionally awesome. The engineer who fixed the light switch was awesome and was knowledgeable of info. So because of them we would be back

When I booked I put a note in asking first something special in the room. It said it could be done. No one contacted me. I did not know I had to contact concierge after I had already asked . So it was not done. I then asked for a microwave. To be in room. It was not until I asked. The light fixture was broke. I called someone for that. The outside cushions were soak wet. I waiting no one came to replace. The Henry’s greeter was not friendly.

The room was very nice, especially the balcony with a view of the bellagio fountain and the sphere.

There were food leftovers in the fridge. Gross!!!
