Comfy bed, adorable staff

The restaurant downstairs has nice coffee, and we had a good lunch there. The common room upstairs was nice.

The room was a bit small, mostly just a bed.

The location is super convenient — there’s a famous café right downstairs, and the interior design is beautiful. Although the place has been around for quite a while, the common areas are kept very clean. The bathroom has separate wet and dry areas, and staff clean it regularly to maintain everything spotless. You need to make your own bed, but towels are available to borrow for free, which is very convenient. I’d highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Tokyo!

Very nice and helpful staff, always very clean, shower were great with strong water pressure. The café underneath was always well visited, so it always was lively but you could also chill out in the common area upstairs which was usually quiet.

The room was very well heated, at times the air felt a bit stuffy

I wont call this a social hostel. Even though they have a cafe and a common area, people hardly socialise

Staff were really nice. Everywhere was clean. Close to metro station so getting there while dragging suitcase was fine. I was in a 8 people room and the ventilation during the night wasn't that good Sheets and everything were super clean. I really liked it there.

Every single staff member was incredibly kind and thoughtful, and all the guests and roommates we met were super friendly too 💕 One of the bar staff, after finding out we were Oasis fans, got so excited that he handed us an egg whisk to use as a microphone and sing Oasis songs together 😆🎤 It was the cutest thing ever 😭😭😭 It made me realize how genuine and open-hearted human connections can be — how music can bring people together so effortlessly. Love and courage truly LIVE FOREVER.

am honestly sooooooo happy with this place!!! It might be my favourite hostel I’ve ever stayed in. I stayed in an 8 bed female dorm which was spacious enough for everyone’s luggage. There are lockers in the room, you get a free towel and padlock. Everyone in the room was incredibly quiet and respectful. The female only bathrooms were soooo good and well thought out !!! Immaculately clean, loads of room in the shower cubicles for clothes and hanging things. Theres some free cotton pads in there too. They even had a small bath which was incredible after a long day of walking. The common room was so cozy and completely stocked with everything you’d need to cook. Such a nice vibe. Downstairs there’s a cafe/bar which has such a nice atmosphere too. The staff are all so wonderful, friendly, cool and helpful!

The only downside is that you have to make your own bed which is a bit of a pain after a long travel day

Well it’s dorm style …

The location of the hostel was great and was close to transport. The included breakfast was delicious with great coffee. The shared kitchen and bathroom were very clean. The power points were next to the bed which was helpful. We could open our window which was good.

There were only female bathrooms on our floor, so my husband needed to go down a floor. This would probably be good for women who wanted a female only option so it’s not a complaint. The bed is a bit wobbly.

Excellent staff and space! The bar area is really cool and has a great social atmosphere, and the common area on the top is cute and a little quieter. It was great for working from. Surrounding area is very nice, too, and you get a good view of the Skytree in the area.

Transit is a little inconvenient at times, but it's no big deal.

I stay 20 días in Japan I go tomorrow many hostel but this one for much was the most incredible, not only the staff, the ambient the first floor is incredible, really well organized and the food is so good, the vibe of the place is incredible, really really well located and easy for moving for all Tokyo

i loved how from haneda airport to nui it was just one train ride/ no need for transfers. it is also close to the station so once you get off, its a short walk to the hostel. the amenities and shared spaces were amazing as well. the breakfast is also delicious and the other travelers are so kind, its easy to invite others and be invited to things if you’re open to it while staying here. out of all the hostels i stayed at during my travels, nui was my favorite one!

The best hostel I have stayed at. The female floor was spotless. Nice bathrooms and showers. The beds wider than a single. Hangers for your clothes, a little box for small things. Nice bar and entrance downstairs. Staff were very helpful

Nothing really. But if I had to fund something. Perhaps the location was a little far from Shibuya. And the 1200 yen for a beer 😅

The staff are the coolest people, this is the best place in Japan

For a ostel it wa sparticularly clean and the staff were very friendly, the extra toiliteries in the bathroom were a nice touch, this is common in Japan but nice to see in the hostel. The view from the rooftop for a beer is nice nad there's a common space you can chill in (I had a snooze in) while waiting to check in.

As hostels go it's quite cool, the downstairs coffee area really is a restaurant cafe, with good cafe, but it is for customers so can get very busy.

Nothing, it was great!

I had an amazing experience at the hostel, great location, near to the subway, great facilities, the showers were really well maintained and with space to dry yourself and dress up. Really nice bed and pillows, the kitchen and common area was also really nice, with all you could need to cook or to plan your travel with your laptop. But the best of all, is that they have a whatsapp group so you can meet other travellers, thank to that I met amazing people who made my stay in Tokyo a memorable trip, thank you so much!!!!

Location is very peaceful and the space is quite large, the bathroom is shared but very good space there as well.

The bar downstairs and the rooftop hangout was great. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Good value.

Creaky beds, and you have to plan for the last train if you go out drinking.

Great place in a great location away from the Shibuya/ Shinjuku, in the Asakusa neighborhood

Very minimal social aspect because the downstairs area bar/restaurant is always full of locals, area where traveleres hangout upstairs was usually just people doing work on laptops.

The place is very close to Kuramae subway station, from which you can have a direct connection to Narita/Haneda. The room and the bathrooms were clean. If you want to socialise, there is both a bar downstairs (apparently frequented more by locals than by guests) and a comfy common area (mostly quiet with people spending time with their laptops etc.) near the kitchen. Breakfast was a choice from a couple of available dishes and tasted pretty good.

To open the room door you need to type in a code. I guess having a keycard would be a bit more convenient.

We loved the Nui Hostel, located in a quiet residential area, although quite near to all the points of interest nearby as Asakusa centre, Skytree, Ueno-Park, which we reached easily with our city-ebikes. It has an extremely nice bar with excellent food, good music, a lot of locals come here too. The bathrooms are well maintained, extremly clean and in good condition.

We had a nice view to the river, but I missed little lamps or a shelf behind my bed, there was just a wall. As we like to start early into the day activities it would have been nice, if the bar would have opened earlier for breakfast, maybe from 7:00 or 07:30 on? 08:00 is a little bit late.

Perfect stay! Lovely hostel that was very clean. Good that the dorm door and window was left open during the day to air the room. Enough showers and toilets you never had to wait. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend!

Bit far main Tokyo but there is a metro not far. Tiny bit of dust under the bunk beds

Lovely cafe downstairs and lounge area upstairs. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere for solo travellers. Bathrooms were also super clean.

The dorm I stayed in was fairly basic and the bunks were a bit creaky given the price.

Everything was clean, the staff was nice. The showers were the best part, actual hot water.

The staff is welcoming and competent, the common rooms are cozy and cater to both those who want to socialise and those who just want to chill in their own bubble. Great quiet location to explore Tokyo and to reach from Narita airport. Lots of locals come here in the evening for a drink or two, which makes the atmosphere very pleasant.

The twin room was a tad small, and AC in the cafe was too strong for my taste, given that it was extremely hot outside. But a very good hostel overall.

The staff were excellent, nice quiet location and great amenities. The showers, common areas and lobby were always clean. I stayed at this property on three occasions and I plan on being back in March.

The hostel was very trendy but also exceptionally clean and organised. The cafe downstairs had great food and staff. And the common room on the 6th floor had a great kitchen and laundry area. The best part of Nui. was how many cool people I met staying there, especially one of the hostel staff, Sora. One of the kindest and most accommodating hostel staff I have ever met, and he spoke great english so he was very helpful with any questions i had as well as recommendations for Tokyo. Overall, this hostel was the highlight of my trip (:

Having the café and the close proximity to the subway were very convenient.

Unfortunately, I spent way more than I wanted with the dryers, because they took several cycles to dry a small amount of clothing. Also, major trains are a bit farther away, extending travel time by rail.

Very clean and comfortable, and the location is great too.

It had a great vibe, staff were lovely, it was very clean, the aircon was great as it was quite hot. The bar downstairs was very good loved the yuzu drink!

Really cool vibe. Perfect location not too central but easy to get into the hectic city if you want to. Cute rooftop. Older crowd for hostel which was perfect for me. Quiet and super clean facilities

Excellent and hip hostel in a quieter part of town but with easy access to everything the city has to offer. Walking distance to the Sumida riverfront and Asakusa with two metro stations very close by. Not a party hostel but still very social. Facilities were very comfortable. I stayed twice, first in the river view room which was incredible, second time in the mixed dorm which was surprisingly clean and quiet for a hostel. Watching the Sumidagawa fireworks from the rooftop is an experience I will never forget. Great base if you are staying in Tokyo for more than a few days.
