Rosewood Hotel Georgia, Vancouver

They upgraded us and we had a fantastic room! The bed was so comfy, I almost didn't want to leave. Beautiful furniture and the turndown service was great! I love this hotel! We also loved the breakfast downstairs, the bar with a piano player and a dusky cocktail bar down below. Very special.

There wasn't a dresser to put our clothes away in the room, just a closet. Otherwise, very comfortable.

Located in the heart of Vancouver, well connected to everything. Relatively large building but not massive, feels boutique almost. Couple of restaurants and bars. Staff is amazing.

We were able to check in early, our room was upgraded to a high floor with a bath, breakfasts were great. Lovely ambience in general with really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely stay and the beds are sooo comfortable.

The bar & restaurant

rooms are lovely

there is an outdoor restaurant on the 4th floor. It plays loud music from 3:00 p.m. on. I was given a room on the fifth floor and it was very noisy. It was a holiday weekend and they were full. I asked about moving and they managed to move me to the ninth floor for my second through fourth nights.

Our experience was truly outstanding. The hotel’s architecture and decor are stunning, and its intimate size creates a boutique ambiance. The room felt incredibly warm and inviting. Above all, the staff’s genuine passion for hospitality, beyond mere training, made the stay exceptional.

What a beautiful hotel. Loved my stay

Everything was perfect, the room, staff, service.

The entrance is small and crowded as there is a bar sharing the space with the check-in counter, so it has a lot of people at any time. The gym could also have more equipment.

Beyond clean throughout, with beautifully and thoughtfully designed rooms. Ours was overlooking the famed Vancouver Art Gallery, a sight for feasting upon arising every morning. Staff were more helpful and respectful than anywhere else I have stayed. Location is central to everything downtown. And everything about the hotel “worked.” The bars, the lounges, and restaurants within the property were the top in every category. The gym was normally empty when attending, perhaps with one or two others present. I did not use the pool, but it looked to draw one in just b/c of the overall design and the glassed-in viewing along the way to the gym.

It would have been marvellous had there been a roof-top attraction or sunning area.

The Rosewood is awesome. The rooms are modern and elegant. The staff incredibly attentive. The pictures do not do it justice because it is a recent renovation of an older building. Stay here.

We arrived at about 8:30 pm and couldn’t hear the lovely woman who was checking us in. The piano bar was that loud.

The hotel charged us $46.20 upon check-in, and all fees and taxes were included. The hotel also charged us a $200 room deposit, which they have not yet processed. Our early check-in request was denied. We received our first room at 2:00 PM, and our second room after 3:00 PM.

Room was excellent as was service (shout to to Robert who was incredibly helpful with luggage)

Very responsive staff

The hotel has old world charm in buckets loads and also has a bar, restaurant, courtyard restaurant, etc. Our room was 609 and it was massive . It had 2 large beds; a good size lounge area; big bathroom and had lovely decor . The staff were incredibly helpful and kind . There is also a brilliant gym and indoor pool . It’s well located to all sights and shopping .

Our first room looked directly in to the courtyard and so had absolutely no privacy . The hotel was happy to rectify this . Room 501. The cupboard space is inadequate for 2 people . And half the hanging space would have been for a child as it had draws underneath it .

24 hour front desk, beautiful lobby, rooms spectacular. James at the Concierge, the front desk staff and the valet was outstanding.

Easier/quicker access to ice. Late night menu needs a few more items for room service.

It was very central. Very stylish and the staff were really friendly. Only stayed 3 nights but wished I had stayed longer to explore more of the hotel.

Our room at first was opposite their beautiful Selections restaurant but as we were suffering from jet lag and needed to sleep it was a little noisy however the next day they moved us to a quieter room.

Fantastic service and facilities for our family of 5 with young kids.

Historic and nicely renovated

Stunning property w beautiful and very comfortable rooms. Great location. Great valet staff.

Surprising for a 5 star hotel- ran out of towels in gym and pool (more than once). Ran out of cash at the front desk. Poor service for breakfast at lobby bar.

I liked how everyone I met at the hotel were kind and sincere.

It was difficult to find way to get to the swimming pool, but the pool was beautiful. ^^

The domestic staff/cleaners were extremely amiable and did an exemplary job.

Breakfast staff could be a little more friendly and attentive.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff very helpful and welcoming. Upscale neighborhood.

We loved everything: great central location, outstanding room with comfortable bed, huge bathroom, all the amenities, cookies in room at night, and very quiet. Restaurant/bars all good, Hawksworth exceptional (go to happy hour). Staff are very happy and professional.

Absolutely nothing.

This was our first stay at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia and we had a fantastic time. We had stayed at the Rosewood Hong Kong before and feel that the service was on par. We arrived in the morning and the team made their best efforts for early check-in and gave us an upgraded room by 12pm. Meanwhile, we got access to the pool/sauna which was perfect after a red-eye flight. The room was great and the bathroom was huge. We really enjoyed all the F&B at the hotel including breakfast at Reflections, drinks at the lobby lounge & Prophecy and the Mother’s Day lunch at HAWKSWORTH. Also the coffee bar was cute. The team was able to give us late checkout at 4pm, giving us more time to relax before our night flight back to Singapore. We also appreciated that the team was very helpful with our abundance of luggage. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

If anything I’m allergic to dust so the carpet wasn’t great for my allergies as I had severe runny nose and constant sneezing in the room.
