Siam@Siam Design Hotel, Bangkok

We had previously stayed here 8 years ago and enjoyed it so much then we decided to stay again. All the public spaces have been redone and are modern and vibrant. The rooms are large comfortable and clean. We love the location of the hotel being walking distance to MBK and the other shopping centres. National Stadium Station is also close to catch the BTS anywhere. Breakfast is also great with good variety. We also tried Chim Chim for drinks and dinner which did not disappoint and Paradise Lost for the evening happy hour. Would be happy to stay again.

The staff are incredibly friendly, great with kids. The facilities are great, even 8 years after my first visit it’s still really well put together. Location is prime to a great way street, night market and the plethora of malls. Easily best value in the area. For those who struggle to find a great coffee, you’ll be spoilt for choice as the cafe on-site is fantastic but a few great options nearby also

Couldn’t fault it if I tried

Nicely designed room, clean gym, conveniently located (walking distance to BTS, MBK, Siam Discovery, etc), and a short drive to Platinum Mall. The view at the roof top bar was pretty and it had nice pink round tables - could have used my laptop, read a book or write my journal, if I had gone up earlier.

Love it. Stayed several times and my go to hotel when I visit Bangkok. (I live in neighbouring Myanmar so visit regularly) Excellent breakfast.

Traffic outside makes getting in and out hard. The toilet door opens into the room but this is a design preference

A truly nice hotel with an amazing, friendly staff and a lovely interior. The age of the hotel is evident in some areas of the room, such as the showerheads or AC controller, but overall, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Next time in Bangkok, I would not hesitate to book this place again. They even have an amazing thing for travelers who have late flights. I left my luggage from morning till evening there, and when I came back, they gave me a Shower room to refresh

Good clean Rooms, excellent location, close to the metro, Siam and MBK Mall, all at 5 mins walking distance. Very good Breakfast spread. Ms. Fah at reception was awesome. Since we had a toddler, she upgraded us to the more spacious corner room. She even gave him an animal balloon which he really liked. Very good experience.

Large room with great amenities, rooftop bar, restaurant and cafe all with delicious offerings. Pool and gym we fine and the location was great to be in the middle of all the places you would want to go in Bangkok.

The sun lounges could be more comfortable and more umbrellas for shade and service to the sun lounge would be better.

Amazing night view at rooftop

A very nice boutique hotel. Every corner of the hotel is IG worthy. The breakfast is good and the design of the room is pretty interesting. If you are someone that are interested to explore different design of hotel, this is a go to for sure.

Although the location is near shopping areas, but there's still a bit of walking distance.

Loved the interior design, all very different and fun. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were comfortable. Very good location for MBK Centre, Siam Centre, Sealife etc. Also right beside a train station.

We were on the road side of the hotel so lots of traffic noise late into the night. Didn’t really like the pool or pool area; the pool had not ledge around the sides to ‘perch’ on when looking out over the city and it was difficult to cling on to the side. The pool area is a bit lifeless and a bit grubby.

Everything about the Property and Service was five star and excellent in every way. Gabrielle, Tina and the reception staff do a great job.

Great plain and simple hotel that does exactly what it should. Nice theme to it. Concierge was helpful. Check in and out was painless. Amazing location just walking distance to MBK, Siam Paragon etc. Fantastic stay

Nothing springs to mind.

The location is great: close to the transport links, shops, great food places full of locals. There is a pool and a gym and also a few cool places to eat and have a drink inside the hotel. The choice at breakfast is very satisfactory too.

The bathrooms are quite average, not what I am expecting from a design boutique hotel. The air conditioning in the room was so loud that I could not sleep.

Disliked- bedside socket too close to side table so could not use plug! Had to buy Thai plug, not good design. I think there may be electrical fault top of curtain in room 1404, top right hand side as small spark when opened curtain

Great location, wonderful staff and facilities! Lovely breakfast in Chim Chim, the pool was great for an afternoon dip and the rooftop cherry on top! Highly recommend! Oh and only 5 minute walk to Banthat Thong Road which is a road full of restaurants and food vendors! Recommended by the staff! Also only 5 minute walk to Jim Thompson house which was cool!

Initially had a problem with the room and the staff handled it very professionally and moved me to a different suite. That room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good. Decent selection to choose from. Great view from the rooftop bar. The pool area is fairly small, but nice. No real amenities for kids. Overall, a pretty good wxperiwnce.

Amazing views from the roof top bar. Room was huge and clean and comfortable. Especially the pillows. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and understanding as it is my first time visiting Bangkok.

Nice convenient room and luxurious pool

Bathroom seemed a little bit outdated

Perfect breakfast option ( also few gluten free options ). Pool on the 11th floor with lovely views. Hotel is truly a design peace. One of the amazing services is an option to entry the bathroom parts at the hotel after check out ( without any fees - if you have a later flight, you can prepare yourself at the bathroom and return the keys after your shower at the reception desk).

Overall, I had a pleasant and comfortable stay! The hotel is conveniently located near the BTS, yet the surroundings are quiet, allowing for a peaceful rest. I asked the receptionist to assist with paying for and holding a parcel while I was out, and they were very friendly and helpful—the whole process went smoothly!
