The music vibrant of this hotel is good.

Welcoming staff. Very nice breakfast setup which I didn't even know was included, but it was. Valet parking was easy and quick at both drop off and pickup. Some very nice touches such as free self serve water bottles in lobby, self serve LP classic records in lobby to bring back to your room which as a record player, within throwing distance of Fenway Park (ballpark view room allowed live enjoyment of roaring crowds and Sweet Caroline), nice pool and garden area with plenty of sunny morning seating, breakfast staff served you at the counter, made omelettes, waffles and smoothies for you, nice breakfast seating area inside and out, upstairs pool facing rooms have small balconies. Some have large balconies that get mid morning sun. Although it has a cool classic rock vibe with its decor and ammenities, there was never any loud music playing anywhere. A human always answers the phone. Had the best of both small and larger hotel benefits. Comfy bedding. Nice that you could partially open the window if you wanted and air conditioning worked well. There are classic campers on the grounds to book instead of a room. That was interesting to see.

Room was small. Some surfaces (shelves, dresser) weren't sparkling clean. Fridge had a high pitched hum until I turned the temp down to stop it. No outlet in bathroom so needed to move cofee maker over and plug hairdryer in outside bathroom. Very dark, not much lighting. Outlet on desk did not work so phone did not charge overnight. Open shower (no door or liner) allows bathroom floor to get very wet. Slight mildew smell in bathroom. We stayed two nights, leaving the room very early the first morning and coming back mid afternoon to find the room had not been cleaned. We asked for a late checkout but were told we had to show up at 7 am at front desk to be put on the list. FCFS late checkout. Got there at 7 am and was given just a half hour extension. Not really worth getting up early for.

Loved the whole music vibe and all the decor. Loved parking onsite. Checkin was fast Bed was comfy and room was super clean

I didn’t care for paying $460 for a night and still having to pay $73 for parking but I get it. May be a good idea to make the room $525 and say free parking. And I haven’t received my $100 deposit back yet although I just checked out today

Thy unique retro style and attention to detail made us remember our younger years. Loved the room and everything in it. The old record player was fantastic as was the ease at which we could pop down to reception and pick LP's of our choice.

The room was very nice and comfortable. The location was excellent within the walking distance to museums, restaurants, shops. The metro bus stops were close by too.

Great location, amazing heated pool, yummy breakfast and super friendly staff. We had a blast here, love the location under Fenway lights and the rock and roll theme was really great. Would definitely book again!!

Bar & restaurant closed very early - 10pm one night!

Loved the vibe of the whole place. Any time there is a guitar available to play in the lobby, that is a plus :) The room was good, the staff was excellent, the food/bar in the connect restaurant was very good, and there were lots of little things that I appreciated: umbrellas available in lobby to use, poop bags for dogs there too, free water bottles, coffee available 24/7. The included breakfast had good options, including a smoothie which I loved. And its convenient location to Fenway and Backbay was key. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Small nit: the shower was nice, but sprayed quite a bit into the rest of the bathroom with the open door. Don't think its an issue of the open door, more the water pressure (which is strong and great, but perhaps too much with open door).

The location in the center of Boston is perfect.

I wish the prices would not fluctuate as much 600 one day 300 something another

To look at Fenway from our room was amazing, super cool rock memorabilia and the vinyl record player in the room made it an awesome experience! Staff was very friendly!

Free water bottles, we got to pick records for the record player, cold brew on tap, and it was right across the street from the park.

Fun place to stay, especially if you are a music and pop culture lover. Staff is great and the location cant be beat. Its not a "romantic getaway" type of place. But still fun.

overnight parking is very expensive. but still cheaper than a parking ticket or a tow, which are definite possibilities if you park off site.

I loved the theme of the hotel, location was great and walkable to many museums/restaurants, everything was very clean, breakfast was great, staff was very friendly, everyone was very accommodating with our little baby.

The vibe was great. All the little touches. Fabulous to have an LP library and be able to play whatever we wanted on the turntable in our room. Breakfast had a good selection for Continental.

The coffee at breakfast was mediocre. Really. That's the only thing I could come up with?

Super comfortable bed and pillows, a window you could open, thoughtful amenities like nitro iced coffee available in lobby. The pool was amazing. Record player and albums was a fun touch.

The bathroom door in our room did not close tightly - it was a sliding closet style door and there was about an inch gap, halls were very dark, valet parking is expensive but was very convenient.

Honestly there’s nothing I could say that I didn’t like

The hotel concept is wonderful. Even if you are not someone who loves rock music. Our room was really nice with a lot of space for our luggage. The cleaning staff was great and the people were really kind. We also enjoyed the swimming pool. The location is also great because there are some metro stations near the hotel, but the neighborhood has a lot to offer (especially if you are a baseball fan).

I think that the breakfast has little to offer for someone who prefers to have something salty.

The entire staff was amazing, always greeted coming in and going out. And the location was perfection!

Location was excellent, within walking distance of house of blues, Fenway park, timeout restaurants, core power yoga, and museum of fine arts. I also liked the ability to turn the shower on without getting wet from the convenient round hole in the glass wall. Loved the heated pool. Also enjoyed the turntable in the room!!

The window got stuck when we opened it and we had to get some help to close it, but it was resolved quickly.

It is a wonderful, nostalgic and hospitable hotel. The albums & player in each room, the atmosphere and the welcoming & helpful staff make this a really neat place to stay. The accompanying breakfast in the "coffee house" area was elegant. The room was clean & beautiful. Great for couples or small groups. We had an awesome stay!

Rooms were excellent, clean and in good repair. Record player and speaker in room were great. Always someone on the front desk and very helpful. The free water bottles from fridge in entrance was a nice touch. Having breakfast included was great too.

Cool hotel right near Fenway Park baseball stadium. Very friendly staff, good breakfast, great pool (warm). Some great cafes close by and subway 10 mins walk away. Highly recommended

Use of take away cups for coffee and other single use plastics. This is a more general issue i find in America but just surprised that a cool hotel like this used so much plastic

Great location within walking distance of a couple of universities for our scheduled tours and nice shops and restaurants on Newbury. Connected Japanese restaurant is very good and also is the venue for the breakfast that is included in our stay.

The music theme of the Verb with music, memorabilia, vinyl records, and turntables in every room was memorable. The staff was great!

This hotel is AMAZING! Maybe my favorite ever. The decor is incredible, the vibe is fantastic and they even have a record player in the room and tons of records you can choose from to listen to. I disregarded the heated outdoor pool because it was so cold out, but it is apparently heated to 95 degrees! Will be returning to check that out! (Oh, the complimentary breakfast was really great too!)

Very clever idea with the record players in the room and the whole music decor… only complaint is $70 for valet parking was a little steep.

The vinyl in my room wasn't Hells bells it was another record.

It was super unique! And the attached restaurant was fabulous. And the breakfast in the morning was sooo good. The walk to Fenway was the best part seeing we were there to see a game. Go Sox!

The $73 fee for parking seeing we were staying there. And seeing there was a parking lot right near door that charged $60……
