The Verb Hotel, Boston

It was a great staycation . It's a neat hotel filled with rock n roll authentic posters ,vinyl records & more. But the best part is the location I can see Fenway Park it's right out my window. The place is super cool and a great price.

I've stayed here a few times and it never fails to impress. The staff is attentive, available, helpful and welcoming. It makes a big difference to be greeted by someone who seems to actually care that you walked through the door. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and who doesn't love the audio turn tables. We always listen to one or two classic albums when we stay here. The breakfast is the best buffet hotel breakfast around. Lots of variety, high quality (for a hotel breakfast) and really friendly making omelettes, serving you, etc. 24-hour nitro brew coffee is a lovely bonus. Some of the best restaurants in the city (in my opinion) are located in the immediate vicinity. Including the in-house Hojoko with excellent sushi and some of the best cocktails around.

Parking is limited and pricey so leave your car at home--but it's that way all over the city. It's a short walk to Kenmore Square to catch trains but you are best off with Uber, etc.

Its nothing bad, just missing the bed room slippers had to walk around barefoot bc we didnt bring one so we had to wear our shoes/boots fpr breakfast

The hotel is very beautiful, comfortable, and has an excellent location. The staff are very attentive and helpful, which makes the stay feel warm and welcoming.

Breakfast is simple and often quite crowded. The “grab and go” service format weakens the overall experience, making it feel more like a hostel than a hotel, especially considering the room rates. In addition, the Wi-Fi is unstable and often doesn’t work properly at night.

The Verb is at a great location. The Decor is FABULOUS. Staff were WONDERFUL. The rooms were GREAT. The water availability is genious along with the LP's👍 Such a unique establishment, was delightfully surprised ♥️

The adjoining restaurant fare was a tad disappointing however. We ordered the Burger thinking it was going to be something special and everything about it was inferior, very disappointing 😞 I felt the alcohol drinks were watered down also and pricey. I doubt I'd eat there again.

Very friendly staff, great feel to the place and of course the music theme and records available made for a great experience.

Stayed for 5 nights and the breakfast options, whilst tasty, were somehat limited and repetitive.

It was fun. There was rock memorabilia all over. The bathroom was modern, and the whole room & bathroom were the cleanest I’ve seen!

Would have liked scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Heated outdoor pool. A record player in every room with records of every genre to choose from —as many as you want. Comfortable beds. Nice toiletry products. Free nitro cold brew in lobby. Generous with water bottles. Umbrellas provided for rainy days. Great rock and roll decor and memorabilia. Friendly, helpful staff.

Location not optimal unless you want to be near Fenway Park.

Breakfast was similar to a chain hotel but a bit better and definitely much friendlier and more pleasant. Lots of better coffee nearby

Room was way too hot during night and we could not adjust the thermostat- fortunately the window opened. The bar wouldn’t stay open for us for even one drink - we had just arrived right before closing after a long day. Fortunately there was a (wild) fun Korean night club bar next door!

The whole vibe was everything it promised. The breakfast was awesome, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

If I was being picky it would be that it was a 10 minute walk to the nearest busy underground train station or 5 mins from an overground/occasional train station.

Best hotel breakfast I’ve had

So cozy vibe and really exciting style of rock n roll! I am a big fan of Glass Animals so I was sooooo surprised and glad when I entered the room with the vinyl record player and their record of Dreamland. The room is really clean and comfortable, with very beautiful view of the outdoor pool. I love the pastries at the breakfast, but it'll be better if there is also some bacon and sausages. The staffs are so nice and allow me to store my luggage at the hotel before check-in and after check-out. I am so satisfied so I will definitely choose the Verb again when I travel to Boston next time!

We chose the Verb for the location to the MFA and Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Most there were younger, going to games at Fenway or a marriage ceremony. Even at 76yrs I enjoyed the "funky" fun atmosphere, younger crowd and good vibe and spirit - people in the heated pool, not what I expected and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff are superb from the start. McKenzie's warm greeting, Ellie ALWAYS there with smile, support. Another gent with her when I checked out yesterday, name? Kevin? He recommended Pavement for a nice sandwich before my taxi p/u. Staff also generously accommodated my request for a 12:30 check out. Already miss some of them! Thank you Verb!

Location was excellent as we were visiting for parent's weekend at BU. My daughter's dorm was right down the street. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed choosing records from the library to take back to our room and use the turntable/record player to listen to them.

Everything was great. You could tell that the room and faculty was a little dated but that adds to the vintage charm

Oh my God, my friend and I were shocked and surprised to find that the Verb is a musical themed hotel 🎉🎉complete with our choice of vinyls to play on the turntable that was in our room? How great was that? We were in town to see Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience at the House of Blues.

Everything met or exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait for our next adventure in Boston

Absolutely beautiful ! Stayed in a backstage trailer and it was the cutest thing. Had a concert at Fenway and it was right around the corner, exactly what I was looking for. Pictures don’t do this place justice, would definitely stay again !

This hotel was absolutely perfect for us! We loved everything about it! Our room was the "Elton John" room. Every little detail was perfection and made us smile. The record player was used several times! The balcony was very nice too. We did stay for breakfast every day in the restaurant attached. It was convenient and just the right amount of choices for breakfast. The location was fun, right next to Fenway Park. We were able to walk to the subway station for some traveling and it worked out well. Lot's of adventures were had.

There really isn't much, it anything at all, we didn't like! Everything was excellent. The people that worked in the lobby were even very accommodating and helpful. We loved seeing a crew every morning cleaning the inside of the hotel to even the outside. Like I mentioned before, all the little details really make this place wonderful and fun. We will definantly come back and use this hotel again. I have even told all my clients about it!

Great hotel. Fabulous staff all were friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for us.. swimming pool was a bonus. Lovely personal touch with a welcome for us on Hotel signage. My Granddaughter was thrilled to see her name on it. She loved the record player.

Was I. Town for a concert at the MGM Music Hall and this was the perfect location! Such a funky cool atmospheric gem of a hotel! If you are a fan of music to any degree this is a fun little place to stay. The decor inside the room and outside is a blast through the past in the best way. The room keys being like a VIP lanyard and a ticket with your room number on it was a nice touch. The staff were incredibly nice and the room was comfortable.

I did use the fan provided in the room as I was a little warm at night, and the back was very dusty, hadn’t been cleaned in a while, but it’s close to winter so I’m not surprised by there being a bit of dust on it as most people aren’t using fans in this weather. Nothing to make a fuss about for me personally I just dusted it off a bit and was good to go.

Conveniently located near Northeastern campus for our weekend visit. Good food selections at their breakfast that was included with stay. Drinks at the bar were delicious!

Bed was a little uncomfortable and we had a long walk to our room. No ramp or elevator to second floor where our room was. Difficult to carry bags and cooler up the stairs.

The ambience and decor were awesome. I loved the record players in each room- we listened to one everytime we came back to the hotel. Good breakfast selection in the morning and an amazing location, literally outside the gate of Fenway.
