In the heart of the business district of Hong Kong, the Hotel Indigo is an amazing experience for the eyes. A shimmering bronze dragon dramatically wraps around the exterior of the hotel, immediately showcasing the culture and tradition of the residential neighborhood. The hotel is opposite the quaint Old Wan Chai Post Office and is sophisticatedly for adults only. The elegance and poise of the decor and design demand an appreciation that most kids do not understand.

Fabulous
Location and pool. Some staff were extremely helpful but others not so much.
Breakfast options - very limited and mostly big meals. The pastries are not very fresh and again very limited selection. I don't think it is worth pre-payment.

Location is the best, very convenient to go anywhere and only few min by walk to MTR

comfortable and well located but difficult on extra bed requests
The hotel is in a really good location, in the middle of Wanchai, right on Queen's Road East. A big wet market is around the corner. Many restaurants are located in the area. The rooms are relatively spacious for HK.
We needed a third bed in one room. The hotel refuses to put in an extra bed and instead drives a hard upsell for extra expensive suites "to accommodate an extra bed". Given that the rooms are not cheap in the first place this is not quite nice.

Great hotel away from busier areas but so close to subway, trans and busses.
For me as a regular visitor to HK it was the great WanChai location, lovely clean room & having a comfortable bed. The quality of linen with big fluffy towels was excellent. Staff always friendly.
The only negative was I felt housekeeping missed on sweeping/vacuuming the carpet free floor daily during my stay.

great room layout but the hotels a little tired.
nice room layout good size.
reception is really poor it’s cluttered with weird furniture. I’ve stayed I three other indigos this seemed to be way off the mark compared with Bali and Shanghai. we were given a disabled room great that they have them but it’s not ideal for an abled bodied guest the shower floods all the way to the basin I guess this is for wheel chair access but a bit messy.

The area is quite far from shopping streets but within walking distance to MTR. The staff were helpful and nice. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is too small due to the space of the room. Overall, pretty good hotel!
A bit pricey. No flexibility for late checkout.

The front office gave me a very hard to finally let me checkout at 13:00, although I checked in at midnight on arrival.
Generally there is no feel of hospitality, not IHG standard

Great hotel for local HK experience
The location is very near Wan Chai Market great for those food fanatics to see what locals buy and eat. And the hotel is only a short walk to MTR Wan Chai station.

Excellent location for us. Impeccable, but still waiting to open all facilities since Co-Vid. Bar & lounging facilities were still closed. Staff were excellent too. Very clean, tidy and modern.
Having all facilities open in the hotel. Staff indicated all should be reopened with the next month or so.

we would def try to a stay one more time
breakfast selection was just okish, unfortunately, so we did not make use of this service… luckily there were several very good alternate breakfast options close by.
the efficiency of housekeeping was not at all up to standard.. and price level. and we were not informed that neither the bar nor the pool area were in use at the time of our stay. not really nice.
