All you need to know
The NoMad of Hotel New York is ideally located in Chelsea and puts guests right smack in the middle of all that is happening in the city that never sleeps. Famous landmarks such as the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, Flatiron Building and Time Square are within easy walking distance. Visitors can use the subway to go up and down and see even more of what the east coast has to offer
The hotel was designed by Jacques Garcia and he used the French apartment he lived in as a child as inspiration to create the bohemian chic decor. The design screams European elegance with white walls, tiled floors and soaring ceilings with funky touches thrown in such as tapestry-covered antique furniture and faded Persian rugs to keep things really interesting.
The accommodations vary in size but most have hardwood floors and lofty ceilings, rare features in New York City. Rooms also include retro-style mahogany desks, ornamental leather headboards and vintage handmade rugs in addition to comfortable bedding. The private bathrooms contain a claw-foot bathtub. Rooms on the top two floors contain amazing city views. Staying at this hotel is also a treat to your stomach as chef Humm and restauranteur, Will Guidars of the three-Michelin-star Eleven Madison Park oversees food and beverage preparation.
