Complimentary water bottles were only provided on check in, construction nearby was loud sometimes

The room was very nice but had full length windows and at street level, with no net curtains so if you opened the curtains for daylight anyone walking past could look in. We recommend that the hotel install net curtains.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They took the time to explain and answer all our questions! The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We only stayed a night but we would definitely stay there again when we go back to Brussels. It is is a great location for both work and leisure. 10 minute walk to the main square and easy train / metro rides to my meetings in the business / EU centre.

Some might find it a bit pricy but this is Brussels and for the quality and service, definitely worth it.

The room is big and bright, and has good air con. The location is good, very close to the main plaza and markets. There is a laundromat close by and it is halfway between two major train stations if you wish to travel to other cities.

The breakfast was small, only limited hot food, not worth the cost for breakfast. Staff was friendly, but not always the most helpful. Carpet between lift and rooms smells a bit weird.

The hotel is within walking distance to MIDI station where we could catch the airport shuttle

The hotel is close to Midi train station, close to the main square and other landmarks. It's in a quiet area surrounded by a handful of bars and cafes where locals hang out. The staff at the reception and cleaning team were super helpful. Highly recommend .

Good location, right in between Bruxelles Midi train station and the city centre (quite literally 10-15 minutes walk from Gran Place); spacious room and comfortable bed.

The only thing is that the room was pretty warm when we arrived, and it took quite a while to cool down. Everything else was spot on.

Very friendly staff who were very accomodating and helpful. Good location about 15 minutes walk from Grand-Place and also 15 minutes from either Brussels-Midi or Brussels-Central train stations.

Our room was location on the ground floor just off the reception area, so it was a little noisy at times during the night with people talking/checking-in at reception.

Welcoming and helpful staff really made the Augustin stand out. Also, our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and lovely L'occitaine products in the bathroom. We also enjoyed a very nice breakfast. A very good experience all round.

Tub only had 1/2 wall enclosure for a shower head coming off the spigot. Difficult to keep the water from splashing on the floor The location was not the best part of town, but no one hassled us. There were women walking alone at night.

An odd choice not to have any curtains or blinds in the bathroom. It might be only in the room that we were staying, but I had to find some solution how to cover. In the evening if the light is on and you are taking a shower the people in the building opposite the street could see you. Though the window was rather small it still made us uncomfortable.

Beds were very comfortable.

The room was spacious with comfortable beds, the location was excellent, and the staff was very helpful.

The shower was a bit tricky, requiring extra effort to get the water to the right temperature, and the sink drained very slowly. The room appeared more luxurious in the photos than in reality, though that’s often the case with many hotels.

Room was in attic space so a little small and had restricted headroom.

The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming. My room was very big and the bed XXL. The bathroom was equipped with nice l’Occitane soaps and shower gels. The breakfast was nice, quite simple but this is perfect to my taste.

It is quite an old hotel that would benefit from being refurbished. Some works have been done but it is more like a 3 star than a 4. Did not like being on the floor that is almost at street level. There were many roadworks next to the property which is obviously not a permanent feature, but it was not convenient to join the property by taxi.

We didn't like the plumbing in the room. The toilet drain is not pressurized, it takes an hour to fill up and in the end it doesn't work as it should. In the end, everyone had to flush with a bucket (garbage can) like our great-grandfathers. For those who are going to do this, here's a life hack for you). This is not the best service for a 4* hotel, as you understand) There was no time to figure it out, since we were with the family for a couple of nights. I'm sure the hotel knows about this, but does nothing. Otherwise, the staff is friendly, the room is clean.

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable with tea/coffee facilities and the L'Occitaine toiletries were lovely. The staff were very kind and friendly and went out of their way for us during our stay. We didn't try the breakfast in the end.

I think the bath / shower option could be improved. We could not use the shower attachment in our bathroom as a shower option as it was too short, so we could only bath. It was no hardship! But I think if you prefer showering, this would be an area for improvement.

The breakfast was exceptional! I really enjoyed the patio and the bar was always open! The beds were very comfortable. Within walking distance to downtown and the train!

The staff were lovely, the breakfast was good and the location was very good as well, close to the central. Beds were comfortable and the linens always clean and nice. The air conditioning worked. There was a minifridge which was nice.

The AC was loud, the walls had marks that looked like dirt, and the furniture (besides the beds) looked really old and worn out. There were at least two things broken in our room, an outlet loose from the wall (which also led to the room phone not working) and a small hole in the bathtub that made the showering there not the most pleasant experience, also the placing of the faucets in the tub was weird compared to where the shower head was placed so while showering, you had the hose from the faucet to the showerhead in your way the whole time. This wasn't a very good first impression of the room and we asked on day one if they could move us to a better room but they couldn't unless changing the room type from two double beds into one double bed and a sofabed which we didn't want so we chose to stay in our room. A few days later I realised these things really didn't effect our stay there that much, which is why I'm not lowering the score more for this. We were also told while checking out that they are in the process of renovating everything and we had been in one of the few rooms that hadn't been renovated yet. So hopefully our experience of aforementioned things is not common here.

We traveled as a family, 3 adults and 2 children. The master bed was fine, all bedding was provided, but the sofa bed was out of sheets, no comforter and blanket. The hotel receptionist was informed, a thin sheet was given to us but it wasn’t enough.

Modern with good sized room, helpful staff and a useful locked baggage drop off room, great if you're getting the sleeper to Prague . The room above us caused a 3am water leak but the Hotel was quick to resolve it.

The hotel was a very easy and direct 15 minute walk from the train station and about the same from the central plaza of Brussels. The room was generously proportioned and well equipped, with an extremely comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately another resident of the hotel was yelling very loudly and aggressively in the early hours of the morning and refused to calm down. Staff were extremely patient with him but it was obviously a difficult situation.

the hotel is in a very good location, close enough to the centre, but in a quiet street we loved L’Occitane cosmetics in the bathroom as well as the slippers the ac was really powerful, we were able to open the windows as well breakfast was really nice, not a huge selection, but everything really tasty

Water is only given on day one and that too in plastic bottles, after that you have to buy plastic bottles. The hotel suggests that we don’t put towels for Wash due to environmental reasons and yet they want us to buy tiny plastic bottles every day. Breakfast very limited quite overpriced for what is given. Little Or no hot food. Staff are very pleasant and lovely- All of them.

Good location. Excellent & really helpful staff. Umbrellas at the door for customers use came in handy as it was raining. A welcoming hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. Five mins walk from Manneken Pis. If walking from a train station, use Central (12mins)- its a nicer walk and better than from Brussels South/Midi Train Station - also 12mins. (Midi area not as good and currently the road works everywhere due to new metro link being built)

there was a worrying incident at 5am as we awoke to violent shouting and screaming that we could hear from reception below our room AND the phone in our room then rang with shouting and screaming heard down the line as well, and then same again a minute or so later. To be honest we thought the hotel might have been under a terrorist attack. We found out later that day by asking at reception that a drunk person wandered in to reception around 5am and started shouting and screaming, however this went on for around an hour and a half, until the Police finally came to take him away - the front door security really needs to be addressed.

The wall between each room not build from concrete, it’s from Gypsum board. And we can hear everything on other rooms.

They forgot to decorate the room for my boyfriend's birthday, that was an important request for me.

The hotel is close to the center in a quiet area and close to Brussels Midi train station. The room was lovely, wifi worked fine. Easy check in/out. The staff are wonderful. Would definitely stay here again when in Brussels.
