An absolute gem of a hotel with long term staff - efficient and friendly service!

Staff rushed us at breakfast time to order.

Friendly hotel with traditional decor. Staff were helpful and the room was comfortable. Location was central and it was good value .

Location is Perfect for a Trip to Dublin. You are right in the centre of the city with Shopping, Restaurants and Bars closeby. Parking is also very close if you are taking a car and they have a reduced rate with the car park. The Hotel is clean.

The hotel is 3-Star and this is reflected inside, which is 'tired' and requires some refurb. Beds are very small, especially for 2 adults. Bathroom did not have a separate shower so you had to stand in the bath to shower which can be restrictive for older people.

Superb location, warm and welcoming foyer and friendly staff. Extremely comfortable bed and cosy room which was great to retreat to from the chilly weather.

The food was a bit mediocre and there wasn’t a great wine choice.

Food and food service in bar on a Thursday night was not good. Would definitely stay in this hotel again but would dine elsewhere.

The location is a bonus, the room acceptable if somewhat dated. On this occasion I had a light breakfast which was acceptable but not exciting.

Unfortunately of late, protestors almost daily assemble outside nearby Parliament Building, creating much noise and disturbance to the comfort and ambience of the surroundings.

The staff members were so kind; the position of the hotel is perfect. The hotel is very nice and clean.

Our room was just next to the lift; for this reason it was very noisy, but except for that, everything was ok.

The location is awesome, with easy access to Trinity college and the downtown shops & pubs. The staff were really helpful and nice as well.

The rooms are a little dated, but clean. The shower drain backed up during the shower leaving me standing in yucky water.

Excellent location for culture, museums, parks and outstanding food choices.

It happened to be quite warm in a Dublin and so was the room, but the fan worked fine. Lighter blankets would have been perfect.

It’s an old building in the centre of the capital city…. Lots of history and a true vintage feeling. If you want real old Dublin stay here. It’s an amazing hotel with lots of character that comes tooth creaking stairs, long winding walk to bed, old furniture, and a wait for the hot water to reach your room….!!!

Could do with some background music….. even the creeks and the bumps in the night, the old feeling feeling and the long walk to bed….. only thing was lack of atmosphere with no music. I could hear everyone talking and was conscious myself of what we said.

Location is excellent. In heart of City Centre, close to St Stephen's Green, Trinity College and Grafton Street.

It was close to the area we needed to attend a function at and the room was very good and staff a joy to del with.

People in the next room arriving home at 6am and singing for 20 mins

Really nice room, friendly check in staff and seamless check out. I let them know it was my partners birthday when booking and they left lovely chocolates in our room.

Night porter wasn’t that friendly when we arrived back late (only 2am, it’s Dublin)

We booked a twin room and it was good and large with plenty of space & add ons that were lovely. I love how property is older and you have kept that quaintness around hotel .
