The hotel's stunning views of Sydney Harbour, its central location at Circular Quay with easy access to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, and the comfort of the rooms.

Nice staff, very helpful all the time. They offered an early arrival lounge with plenty coffee, water, shower…. Very convenient!!!

The location wss perfect and the staff was very helpful.

Walking distance to the train station and the iconic Sydney Harbor.. shops restaurants were right there… the room was comfortable , spacious . Really enjoyed my stay

All good. When my wife and check in, I was asked for the reason for our stay. I said that it was our 52nd wedding anniversary. We went out for the day and when we came back to the hotel room, we found on the table a beautiful dessert with a Happy Anniversary message. That definetely completed our enjoyment for the day.

Bathrooms outdated, not fully clean, could do with modernising for a five star hotel.

The setting in my room (Premium Guest room) was nice. There was a chair with a table to sit and relax which also allowed us to see the Sydney Harbour. The King Bed was clean and the bathroom was equipped with what we needed. Thank you.

Amazing staff & a very warm welcome

The tv in our room didn't work & had to be fixed by a member of maintenance. The pillows had no substance. Even with multiple they went completely flat. Didn't get much sleep as a result.

Location and facilities

The location of the Marriott Hotel is amazing. It’s very close to the Circular Quay LRT stop and the wharf, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. It’s also a great base if you want to explore the city, whether in the CBD or the surrounding areas. The beds were comfortable, which made our stay relaxing. Another big plus was the elevators — there are plenty of them, and they were fast, which saved us a lot of time moving around the hotel. The afternoon popcorn was also a thoughtful addition that added to the experience. The staff overall were welcoming and friendly — from the reception team to those assisting us throughout our stay, we really felt looked after. However, there was one exception: a very rude and arrogant staff member, which unfortunately left a negative impression. I’ll share more about that experience below.

While there were good parts of our visit, our experience with the engineer from the sauna, his name is Renato, was very negative — he came across as rude and arrogant when we asked for him to set up the sauna, which really affected our impression as paying guests. We just wanted to relax after a long day, and his behaviour deprived us from having to do that.

We chose that hotel due to its fabulous location to the rocks, ferries, train and the opera house.

We had booked the room for 3 persons but it was only set up for 2 people. We knew it was 2 double beds and that was fine but we requested more wine glasses and they never arrived. Also, our room wasn't replenished until 4pm on the Sunday afternoon, which I felt wasn't ideal.

Great location. Fast wifi. The bar in the lobby has fair prices and good food.

The air conditioning is not very effective.
