Everything , superb breakfast on the terrace with awesome view of the acropolis, the pools and spas are great, the beds are amazing, the staff are lovely and we totally enjoyed our last night in Greece here, very handy for the tube to the airport too.

Drinks in the bar are expensive...but we only wanted one so doable.

I liked everything about the hotel

Beautiful clean hotel with wonderful, helpful and attentive reception staff. Hotel is centrally located and within an easy walking distance to most sites. It has a lovely rooftop space with amazing views of the Parthenon and Acropolis hill.

Perfect hotel for visiting Athens, we were able to get an early check in which was terrific. Hotel boasts an outstanding location, outstanding staff, outstanding breakfast, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Great view from your breakfast table and nice pool. Stay here!

It was all outstanding.

Room was large and comfortable. Beds were great. Breakfast was a lavish buffet and the view from the restaurant to the Acropolis is outstanding. Incredible at night when having dinner there. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see from the hotel

Outside pool was too small and there were not enough lounge chairs for the size hotel. We lucked out both days in getting lounge chairs, but many folks could not.

The hotel offered the highest standards of service, a spacious and comfortable room, stylish interior designs and wonderful views from the rooftop restaurant and bar. It’s in a great location too!

Our acropolis balcony room looked straight into a brick wall unless you stood up at the balcony. Bit disappointing for the price

We had the most wonderful stay at Electra Metropolis Hotel Athens. From the moment we arrived, the service was simply exceptional, warm, professional, and attentive in every detail. The buffet was excellent with a wide variety of choices, and breakfast on the rooftop with the Acropolis view was unforgettable. Our triple room was spacious, with plenty of extra space and even a comfortable couch, which made the stay even more relaxing. Housekeeping was always friendly and kept everything spotless. Special thanks to Katerina, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable - she was absolutely outstanding. And to Natalia, who went the extra mile even after check-out to ensure our friend could pick up the items we had forgotten. That is truly five-star service. And of course, the location is fantastic as it’s right in the middle of Athens, walking distance to landmarks, restaurants, and shops. Truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely return.

A really lovely hotel, great location, clean, friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Beautiful views from rooftop restaurant- a lovely place to go in the evening too.

The pool area needs to be larger and more attention, when people leave to ensure the sunbeds are ready for the next person. There are no umbrellas by the pool. Also we had a smell of sewage in the room, they wee attentive but problems not resolved, we were offered another room but it was our last night. They did take money off our final bill, as it is a 5 star hotel and you do not expect that, also they must have known that there was a problem before our arrival. They were trying to resolve it and paid attention to our concerns.

A decent sized hotel room, we were high enough to see an unobstructed view of Acropolis. They had a nice comfortable lounge. Staff was kind and extremely helpful. Location was close to but not on top of attractions, shopping and close to restaurants. Delicious and varied breakfast buffet. Pool was a nice break for the midday heat.

I have no complaints. It's a good solid hotel for Athens. Except the half door showers that European Hotels just love for some ridiculous reason.

Location was perfect, the rooftop restaurant and bar provided the best view ever of the Parthenon and the loveliest yoghurt and honey that we found in all of Athens.

I stayed here a few years ago and it was a great experience. My hopes were that didn’t change for the property and it exceeded all my expectations. When I am back in Athens, I will definitely stay there again.

Outdoor pool is a little small, only seating for about 20 people, but so many more guest wanted to hang out there.

Superb stay in the heart of Athens right next to all the top attractions as well as great restaurants and bars that Athens has to offer. I can’t speak highly enough for all the staff from the Bell boys, to the front desk, to even the parking attendant who helped us with everything during our three days staying at the hotel. Excellent excellent service.

No parking was available at the hotel, however this was quickly rectified by allowing us to park at the sister hotel Electra Palace Athens

Great location perfect to Ermou street and only a 17 min walk to the Acropolis! It was also very clean and had great amenities.

Everything about the hotel was wonderful! Breakfast is served on the rooftop- the views are beautiful! And after a hot day of sightseeing, the outdoor pool was refreshing!!

The view from the breakfast/restaurant area is absolutely stunning. The restaurant offers some incredible mediterranean food. The massage I got at the spa was stellar. With that, the absolute best thing about this spot is the location. You are in the middle of everything!

The upstairs pool has limited sitting so we ended up not being able to use it.

The staff were all very helpful and accommodating - from before we arrived when I wanted to make sure we'd still have our room when we got to the hotel at 2am, to booking a car service, to amenities, to the front desk staff, the breakfast staff and the roof/pool staff. The location of the hotel was brilliant - easy to walk to all the great bars and restaurants, to the old town and to the Acropolis. And what a view from the roof - absolutely beautiful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious and there were so many options. The pool was a great addition, but you do have to get there right when it opens to get a bed as they all go very quickly, albeit people leave/join throughout the day and we were lucky each time, only having to wait a short while to get one. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Athens.

When we arrived, we had a twin room which wasn't what I had booked and because it was 2am in the morning, we couldn't join the beds until the next day. Just a bit annoying for the first night's stay given we were a couple, but all fixed promptly when I called housekeeping when we woke up.
