Fresh Hotel, Athens

Breakfast are excellent, with some vegan and dairy free milk options as well as the huge range of cakes, breads , cooked food etc, there are fridges and kettles in the rooms, the restaurant is small but the cocktails are delicious! We had excellent massages- there are a range- much appreciated after days walking around. Gym is modern and has everything you might need. A good location as everything we wanted to see was within 10-20 minutes walk but it was easy to drive out of Athens for day trips. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make helpful recommendations. There is some parking in the basement which was great as street parking looked difficult nearby.

The one thing we didn’t like is the en-suite bathrooms are echo chambers you can hear everything in the room. Okay if travelling with people you know well, but might be awkward on a first holiday together.

The rooms might be bigger.

The rooms are not big, but they are comfortable. The staff is excellent — very helpful and friendly. I felt very good staying there. The breakfasts are great, with a wide selection of food that changes every day. The interior design is interesting and the overall atmosphere of the place is really pleasant.

Hotel location in great and in walking distance to almost everywhere in Athens which you should see. We stayed there 3 night with my son and loved the hotel a lot! Very clean, always smiling and helpful stuff, delicious breakfast. Even we left like 5 am on our last morning and they gave us breakfast box in the reseption as the buffet was not open yet! Looks like small detail but makes you feel valued as a customer. In my next visits l will definetly prefer fresh hotel! Thank you guys🤍

It is not very important but I didn’t like the bedroom decoration, it reminded me of some furniture of the 70s.

Location, friendliness and the rooftop

Delicious breakfast. Perfect location - close to all attractions, in the heart of a vibrant city climate. But even then not very loud in the room. Nice roof bar. Warm and helpful staff - in the reception, in the restaurant, and in the bar. I would come back here if I were in Athens again.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. We told them in advance that it was our honeymoon and they’d arranged a bottle of sparkling wine and selection of fruit for our room. Bed was very comfortable and we both slept well. Bathroom was excellent. Couldn’t fault the breakfast - great selection of food and drink to set us up for the day. Location was great for us to get to the tourist sites and the Exarchia neighbourhood where we spent a lot of time eating and drinking. Didn’t make great use of the rooftop but it was pleasant.

Views of the Acropolis from the rooftop are partially obscured by another building in the adjacent block, not that it really bothered us. Some people may be a little put off by the location on a reasonably busy road a stone’s throw from the fish market. We walked everywhere and found it relatively easy going in the October sunshine. Lifts were a little bumpy.

The location, which is up and coming is good. It is well located for public transport. Excellent rooftop bar and restaurant. There is also a small pool. I have been staying in this hotel for c 20 yrs + and have always enjoyed my stay which is why we continue to return

The hotel was expanded in the last few years with new rooms and rooftop facilities. The reception was also relocated but does not work well as you have to take stairs to get to the SINGLE lift in reception. There are 2 other lifts but many more steps and a walk are involved. I do not like the decor in either the new areas, including reception or the new rooms. I appreciate that tastes change over time but remain unconvinced of the changes here.

The location of Fresh Hotel was great, service was fantastic, the rooftop pool was awesome, and the breakfast was ideal!

Breakfast was good, plenty of choices. But it was often very crowded and was hard to find a table. But the staff was helpful. Our room had a balcony and the view was good.

The sink leaked when I filled it with water. It moved, probably that was why leaked. If you don't fill the sink, it was OK. It is a tourists hotel. Often the lobby was crowded with people.

Nice hotel. For us, the location and area was perfect. You are just on the edge but out of the main tourist streets. The room was fine. The breakfast is good. The roof top pool, seating and bar are lovely.

Staff so lovely. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and the view of the city was amazing. Very modern feeling, which not everyone wants, but I was ready for at that point. Breakfast was unreal. Truly spectacular. Never seen so much variety!

Staff were quite busy, so had to wait quite frequently to ask questions or get assistance at the front desk, but this is a truly minor issue. Parking was available but terrifying down a very steep, narrow passageway into the basement.

Great location,lovely big spotless room Power shower, attentive professional polite smart staff. Outside rooftop pool terrace and restaurant amazing.

Our only gripe is that some people just do not respect other’s privacy and are far too loud around the pool and breakfast area. A shame they feel the need to Dominate the lovely peaceful vibe this hotel has otherwise.

Love the Fresh, stayed there many times, love the pool, rooftop lounge, breakfast, proximity to Plaka.

In some rooms the bathrooms need a bit more thought on their practicality.

Great location, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and were always happy to offer recommendations or help with directions. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food. Hotel is within walking distance to Monastiraki Square and there is a Hop On/Hop Off bus stop across the street, very convenient.

Clean and cheerful rooms, excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location for sightseeing (hop on, hop off bus stop just outside) and close to shops and a lively square with bars and restaurants

The room was amazing the hotel staff and the cleaners were amazing. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The restaurant was a little expensive what the meals received. However the breakfast was terrific.

The location is so central for everything, its fantastic, and the hotel staff are so helpful and really friendly. Shopping, restaurants, museums are all within easy walking distance and the Acropolis is a quick taxi ride. The view from the roof top bar is superb. We had a great meal in the evening with the view and the breakfast was good.

Our room was not cleaned the second last day, even though we had put the correct sign up. I had to call someone to empty the dustbins. Also the room was very small. The drinks were very expensive.

The hotel's design, rooftop and pool, helpful and smiling staff, breakfast was tasty and fresh. Our chill room was very clean and had a nice terrace. The bed was super comfy, AC was quiet and did a great job in the July heat. We had a beautiful time!
