Hotel Electra Palace, Athens

Efficient check in and check out. The staff at the reception were cordial and helpful. Good size room. The toilet had a bidet. The breakfast and the dinner at the Roof Garden had very good food. The view from the Roof Garden was excellent.

The rooms supposed to have an Acropolis view got a "bend your neck to see it" Acropolis view, but somehow some rooms that were supposed to get the garden view also got an Acropolis view. The room service was inconsistent. The food was great for dinner. But the same items ordered for lunch the next day looked and tasted worse. Also, the staff was never correct at stating how long the delivery will take. Once they said 10 minutes, but delivered after 50 minutes. This happened multiple times.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable, excellent location to walk to Plaka, Acropolis, Museum, and shopping. Bars located near walking distance and great food options near by. You can walk to Dionysus restaurant from this location.

I had to use two different lifts to get to breakfast.

The rooftop bar for breakfast and sunset drinks was so impressive. This location is perfect for exploring Athens by foot as it’s in the middle of everything.

The rooms are a little dated

The breakfast was excellent in quality and quantify. We could sit inside or outside and had an amazing view of the Acropolis. We also enjoyed a wonderful dinner one evening in the same setting as well as enjoying our visits to the Garden Restaurant. Location was excellent, and the staff was very friendly, helpful and informative.

We only had two nights in Athens, so this was a perfect location to see the main attractions. The hotel was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. I didn’t know if we would use the pool when I booked but it was really nice to have on our last afternoon of our vacation. Breakfast was really nice as well.

Beautiful rooftop settings with scenic views. Wide variety of food options. Fresh juice could be better; however there were always fresh fruits available.

Kitchen staff where very busy meeting people’s preferred options and therefore the waiting for order felt too long.

A luxurious hotel with warm hospitality, a very tasty breakfast with an amazing view of the Acropolis, a beautiful gym and spa complex, and a fun pool on the rooftop.

Uncomfortable bed pillows, too big and stiff. The shower flow is a bit weak. And there is no mosquito net for the balcony window.

I would stay here again. Staff welcoming, service driven. Location is central, well maintained and rooms comfortable. Breakfast is located on the top floor with a fantastic view of the Acropolis. Wonderful food spread. There is something for everyone.

First time in Athens and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The location of the hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms (we had 3) had recently been renovated and were very comfortable. Location was perfect and my family and I had a wonderful time. Staff were extremely helpful. Our first night we booked the rooftop restaurant and had a beautiful meal with views of the Acropolis. Highly recommend this hotel.

Location, views, wonderful staff. Doorman and all hotel staff excellent. What a great breakfast!! And breakfast staff also excellent. Room coffee and tea access great. Housekeepers were super nice!

TV Channel access very limited for English speaking guests. Phone mirroring feature on TV not working as an alternative for limited channel selection. No electric outlets at bedsides. Had to request extension cord. Then turns out outlet available to connect extension cord was coupled with overhead light by front door, so electrician had to remove light bulb as only way to have bedside electric power iwithout light by door being on all the time. The bathroom door was space restrictive. A sliding door would allow for more easye of mobility.

Great location! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We arrived early and my daughter was exhausted, so they did their best to find a room that was ready. The hotel is gorgeous and the view- outstanding! We really enjoyed having breakfast with the incredible view of the Parthenon and Acropolis. It was close to everything and right in the beautiful neighborhood of Plaka.

The view of the Pantheon from the restaurant on the top floor was marvelous. The staff was very nice and helped us buy tickets for the Acropolis and book a great restaurant next to the hotel.

The location. The comfort & cleanliness of the room. Pleasant staff.

Did not realise about the do not disturb button until half way through our stay which led us to having to wait 5-10 minutes while staff cleaned our room. We are not fans of continental breakfasts & we found the breakfasts here uninspiring.

The hotel is in a great location, with all the main tourist sites within an easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and really helpful with suggestions for instance where to buy the best baklava! The view of the Acropolis from the restaurant and the outside pool is amazing and we even braved a swim which was a little chilly, but the outside pool had only just opened for the season.

The location is fantastic! The view of the Acropolis is stunning! The breakfast buffet is so good and sitting there with the beauty of the Parthenon is awesome. The bed is comfortable and the AC is so good. Would stay here again.
