Very good location, just a short walk with 2lines of boat at the stop nearby. Quiet at night. Restaurant for afforded dinner and good breakfast.

The 16 bedded dorm is quite crowded, I will book less bed dorm next time.

Great common areas and delicious coffee. Very friendly staff. Exceptionally clean for Venice accommodation. Great location. Quick Vaporetto trip to S Marc’s. Great island to wander about

I think the extra costs are a bit excessive and expensive. Towel, storage, breakfast. Too expensive.

Hostel is amazing, so easy to reach from st. macro square by boat. The staff members are very helpful! The Lounge area is comfy for relax with a lovely atmosphere. The bedroom and bathrooms are clean. There are spare bathrooms to use outside the bedroom. I will return to stay！recommend the hostel！

Pay attention!!! Hostel are on separate island!!! ONLY means of access to this island is vaporetto! If you not plan to purchase vaporetto pass for few days, each trip will cost you 9 euros!

Good place for that money in Venice. The opportunity to buy food there is very convenient. The reception staff is very funny and nice.

Under bed shell. Not a very convenient format of storing. Also my sheets weren't put on the mattress. So when I came back and everyone was sleeping, I was quite noisy doing it by myself.

Small number of bathrooms

It's a safe Hostel to stay in, all of the front desk staff were friendly and heplful.

I wish the room had at least one chair to sit on, i think it's a basic necessity. The bathroom door didn't have a lock, so little privacy when showering, needs to be fixed.

Lovely place with great lounge areas, clean rooms and comfortable beds.

Where it is located on Giudecca Island means water bus every time you want to leave or go back. It is €10 a trip and that adds up quickly. They also charge for use of a towel and to store your luggage for the day. It also makes you feel out of the action of Venice.

The lounge is great. I think it's probably the only hostel in Venice so.... We don't have other choice.

There are only 2-3 bathrooms on a floor. Too many people in a single room

Location, cost, decor and reception

The reception decor is very nice, but the rooms are just 4 walls and bunk beds. Very sad and boring. In between the rooms are window glasses, so whenever the neighbours turn on the lights it also lights up your room, cause us sleeping problems.. Our room was facing the street (above the hotel entrance) and every night we would have young party owls talking loudly and keeping us awake.. Reception and bar was understaffed and not very service minded. To get to the city center you have to take the boat ferry (which is very expensive at 9,5 euro per hour!).

The staff in Check in desk and bar are very nice. The places are clean and comfortable.

Most hostels provide kitchen for cooking. At least It’s better to provide hot water for people or kettle for boiling water. It’s suggested that buy 1-2 days pass for water bus to transport to the hostel.

Need to add some water to the price of the room. The private room has two single beds joined together, doesn’t work for couples.

Great ambience, clean and quiet I love the concept and ideas of the lobby.. you will not get bored . Fun place to stay I definitely recommend it to my friends

Great location, 2min-walk away from the water bus station, which is only 1-2 stops away from St Marco's square. Serene location too with wonderful views of the water. Easily accessible to sunrise location (e.g., St Marco's square) and sunset location (e.g., the other island in Giudecca). Comfortable and nice vibes in hostel.

As I had read from other reviews, they don't let you store your luggage with them for free. You have to rent lockers to do so. A small locker for 24 hours would cost 5 euros, for example. Also, be careful that you need to take the water bus to come here. A single ticket on the bus costs €9,50. A one-day pass is €25, two-day €35. People under 30 years old can buy a three-day pass for 33 euros. I ended up taking the bus a lot around Venice (and also to Murano and Burano), so I got my "money's worth" from the bus pass, and so it was okay for me that the hostel is not on the mainland...

Clean and comfortable rooms, great location and amazing staff.

Storage is under the bunk beds and can be noisy when pulling the drawers.

Did not know it was on another island so had to pay 18 euro forth and back Whicker was a surprise and took about 30 min each way late at night also ferry was 1 and then turned into 2 late at night - but got there do alll ok

No kitchen, earlyish check out ( unusual but because I was so comfortable I only woke up at 9.20 and had to check out by 10!)

The Hall and the entrance

Very friendly staff, check-in and check-out went smoothly, the food was good, everything was clean and, despite being on another island, the location was great. You'll most likely need to get a water bus pass anyway, so having the hostel on a more quiet island makes a lot of sense, especially since the water buses run all day and night. The lobby is really nicely decorated, the building is beautiful and the room ceilings give a very authentic feeling

Having curtains around the beds would help with privacy. Small things such as the door being squeaky and the shower door not closing properly could easily be fixed and would improve the overall experience. Most hostels I've been to did have a kitchen, so I really felt its absence this time. The restaurant and bar sorta make up for it, but I would've loved to have at least a microwave oven and some kitchen utensils and plates

I think it is one of the best options which can be expected from the hostel. The most obvious advantages are separate bathrooms for men and women, cleanliness, polite, friendly and helpful staff. One of unexpected perks is great cafe downstairs with nice interior, and welcoming atmosphere. The place is really easy to find and just a 5-minute walk from the ferry stop. on the way to the hostel there is a cute local greengrocery with fresh delicious treats.

One should take into account that the hostel is situated on a separate island so you should be ready to pay extra for the ferry. Unfortunately I discovered this only when I headed for the spot. It was my fault that I hadnot paid attention to this before booking, still I was a little bit disappointed with the fact
