loved the water bus station right nearby. inside was fun and well decorated.

curtains are always nice to have in hostels. it was also reallly warm inside. there were also a lot of kids, like 10-14 year olds on school trips during the week so that was pretty chaotic.

Large hotel like hostel with enough space in the room for people to open baggage & get ready. Has restaurant & bar on premises.

Additional charges - lockers / baggage storage, towels, early / late checkin. If you book an additional day/s, they made you check out and wait till 2/3pm to check into another room, which was really disruptive to travel plans in the day. You cant fall asleep in the common area which they allocate to patrons waiting to check in, if people fell asleep security would walk past and wake them ALL up telling them to open their eyes and sit up as it 'looked messy'. The shower in the room was horrendous and leaked water, very expensive hostel. No fridge available.

very nice staff, very clean rooms and facilities

you have to buy the day pass to use the vaporetto to get to the hostel, which is not cheap. also you cannot bring outside food and drink to the hostel so you must eat outside or at restaurants. it is a nice view and i’m glad i stayed here but i will definitely be staying in the mainland of venice next time.

Great location

I couldn’t sleep well during my stay at night because of the noise from the boat engines and other disturbing sounds.

I love the place its easy to go to the center of venice theres a water bus near.

Loved that it’s on a separate island your view is the whole St. Mark’s Square! Great coffee bar, just wish for a few more showers and a bit more space. Still, great value!

It’s an excellent location if you don’t mind taking a boat that costs €9.50 every time you want to get to the main cluster of islands. It’s much more affordable with a multi-day pass (2-day is €35) but if you stay in Venice Mestre the train is only €1.50 and it’s about the same travel time. The staff were wonderful, charming and helpful in every way. They deserve 20 stars. They also have a €5 piatto del giurno dinner that was a modestly well-sized portion and satisfyingly delicious.

The coffee definitely needs some improvement. I had an americano that tasted like unsavory water. There is far better coffee at the nearby Redentore boat station. A huge group of children were staying when I was there, shrieking and laughing during all waking hours and trashing the bathroom sink. This was highly unpleasant for those guests who were not part of their group. I would prefer to stay at a child-free property.

The location and the staff, the amazing view from the room

The beds are so close to each other you feel like you literally sleep next to the other person. The bathroom could be cleaner and also there is just one bathroom for the whole room (8 ppl), could have 2 and separate them with the toilet because when someone is taking a shower the toilet is also locked and unusable 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was on the 2nd floor and the room was far too hot. After the first night I noticed there was a sign on the window saying to keep the windows closed so the AC would work but none of us felt any cold air. I asked at reception about this and was told the AC was turned off on 15th Oct and nothing could be done about the heat. The window kept being opened and meant I was bitten horrendously by mosquitoes. There was absolutely no need for the thick duvets on the beds. I slept with a sheet on me. I spoke with others in the room who felt it was too hot as well. The shower cubicles provided no privacy.

It is lovely to be so close to the Vaporetto stop and you can see the water from your window… The staff is very friendly

The rooms are set so that four of the beds is in almost complete darkness and I don’t like that… The food in this place is not very good especially the coffee

Staff is super friendly and professional. I got my key and I just went and explored to my heart's content. Maintenance is superb. Beds are super cozy..was hard to say goodbye haha! Just the perfect spot to sit outside and feel the Venice vibes in peace! Different breakfast options were available, looked yummy. Was a bit early for me to eat at 7, I just did it in the go as I was already out to explore. But it definitely looked good! Lovely guests of the hostel too! Quality place in one of my favourite places in Venice! Already had a vaporetto pass to explore so..not a problem! Highly recommend!

Rooms are big with lots of beds. It's warm and cozy and people are respectful. This time we had a snorer and it was....an ear plugs needed kind of situation, which they sell in the vending machine infront of the rooms. Not their fault of course. Next room was a circus haha. Bunch of teenagers. Didn't wanna sleep I guess! People leave their shir on the sinks too..but again, like the ones mentioned above, it's not the hostel's fault. Just get some plugs if needed and wake up early to not miss ye flight! Cheers!

The price and the originality of the place.

The noise, specially because people don’t close the door carefully. I missed curtains for a little bit more privacy for sleeping, and there is just two showers/toilets and one mirror space for quite a few people.

Just be aware that it’s not on the main cluster of islands so you’ll want to leave plenty of travel time if you have time-specific bookings

Location is amazing. Awesome view of St Mark's basílica, clock tower and St Maria Della Salute church.

Very limited space in dorms. Towels cost 5€ to use.

There are no curtains on the beds, which makes it difficult to have any privacy. The lockers located under the bunks are also quite hard to open. The 8-bed room feels very small and cramped, as the beds are positioned too close to each other

Ladies toilet-shower room (the floors) might have been cleaner.

Well equiped, highly organized. Accessibility and personal are really good. Stuff are commited to daily tasks. The view of the hosted is beautiful.

Price is little bit high (although understandable due to the city). It would be better if some services becomes included ( like breakfest etc..)

Has a lot of style put to it. Workers are polite and easygoing, heard some speaking English, Spanish, and Italian off course.

Bathrooms are so small and tiny. Don’t have a kitchen only bar/restaurant so if it’s not open you only have vending machines. Has a good connection with the boat from central station but I will not recommend it to arrived late at night if you don’t know.

There is no room for chairs or a table in the room, there is nowhere to put your belongings, the lockers do not have padlocks, each service is charged extra (towels, luggage storage)

The staff were friendly and helpful. We were helped and guided very well by Promise and Radj.

Dormitory with too Noisy objects; Lockers making creepy noises and seem like moving boxes of 50 kg, so every time someone wants to take an object, you wake up. Bathroom; 4 toilets and 4 showers a floor, this for at least 60 persons. Completely used and funghi in the shower.

The property was trendy and there were comfortable facilities.

The hostel itself was off the main island. So if you are travelling with limited funds. It’s important to know you have to buy passes to the water taxis. Something that’s not well advertised in Venice. Obviously the location isn’t the hostels fault. But, worth knowing. The dorms are relatively large. Especially when compared to the female bathroom facilities available on each floors.

I liked the building style, the entrance, the chill area. I liked the area it was in. I liked the staff.

The bathrooms could be more modern and clean. Towels are not included like other places I’ve been. No curtains for privacy.

The bathroom can't be closed or locked so when you take your shower, anyone could enter There's no natural light coming into the building There is no kitchen If you want to make a laundry, you have to pay ELEVEN euros (4,5 laundry, 4,5 dryer AND 2€ for detergent). This is too much

Lights by the bed weren't working

The space between beds is very small and not comfortable washrooms.

In shared rooms, storage boxes are located under the lower beds – if a person in the upper bed needs to get their belongings, they will disturb the person in the lower bed. The beds do not have shelves for charging laptops, and if you place your laptop on the side of the bed, it may fall down. To get to the hostel, you need to take a vaporetto. To get to a room on the third floor, you need to take the lift to the second floor and then walk up the stairs, which is inconvenient.

It was my first time staying in a hostel, and it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the common areas were quite nice.

The location was quite inconvenient if you are planning on spending a lot of time on the main islands of Venice. At night, you had to wait a long time often, to get a boat across to the island where the hostel was located. Staying in a hostel is great if you want to hang out with fellow travelers and meet new people, but if that's not really your vibe, the lack of privacy can be a turn-off.

Wonderful funny staff and place. I come here since ages and I am afraid that Guidecca is not safeguarded anymore. Amazing spot in Venice.

The beds light did not work. The wonderfully historical place does not need six televisions in the lobby with generic stuff running. It lessens the experience.

It is grand for a hostel, but I think attention to detail is required. The rooms (we were in an 10 person dorm? maybe more actually) were great, good airflow and spacious with good lockers. We had access to bathrooms and they never felt crowded. + we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay eg, towel, our own lamp, a small shelf

The bathrooms are very tired, I’m not even sure a good clean can spruce them up in the way they need. The limescale has been built up too much, and there is mould in the corners. Some showers don’t have privacy and the bathrooms themselves are tiny. Especially for the amount of people, these bathrooms need an upgrade

The hostel is very clean and comfortable. It’s very good location as well. I love it!

Nice atmosphere. Location a bit harder to reach since it is on an island (most boats were on a strike when I arrived). However, the location is less crowded than the most popular tourist areas. Clean, good facilities.

The dorm feels quite crowded compared to some other hostels as there are 16 beds in one room with not much space in between. However, it was still good to sleep. The bar is nice.

The location is excellent. Service was nice. Everything was mostly clean.

There are not enough showers for the number of people. Showers could be cleaned more often as well. It is not so great for a hostel not to have the option for washing water bottles in a decent kitchen sink and not to have even a microwave. The eating options were alright, but people who stay at places like Generator (there are more in Europe), are people who have to hold their money together. So a microwave or two, a kitchen sink, etc. would go a very long way.

Great staff. Great common area. Games, console, pool. Great value breakfast. Osterias just up shoreline. Close to 1/2/4.1/4.2/N Boat. The Alilaguna airport drops at the Hilton 1km but you could instead travel to san marco and change to another boat to zitelle. Views across to St Marks Sq. At sunset the shore opposite glows. Great room view

Curtain was hanging off rails so didn’t cover window so Had to fix. Only 1 pillow which were on thin side. Asked for another which they gave but was dependent on empty beds

Great hostel with everything you could need, easy to navigate to and from the island with water buses.

I was in a female dorm and it was a bit cramped. Hard to get ready without getting in everyone’s way but other than that it was perfect

The hostel has no kitchen. They have their own restaurant, but sometimes it is closed because they have group events.

its second time here, i really dont like sleeping near conditioner, its pretty cold and made me sick. Next time i will ask bed particulary not near the conditioner, because it not possible to rest. asking to regulate it in the reception really depends who is working and how kind person is.

Nothing to mention

The building itself and the shared area in the ground floor are beautiful. I had a problem with my bed and the staff solved it easily and without a problem. The view from the female dorm is just amazing.

The female dorm could use q couple more lights. Even with lights on, some beds receive really bad light and it was hard to find my stuff. There’s no shared kitchen like other hostels and while there’s a bar offering meals, coffee and snacks, it’s not allowed to bring outside food.

Great Location. Good value for the money. Staff help me out we the change of dates. Comfortable beds.
