citizenM Hotel Tower of London

Perfect location, right above the Tower Hill tube station. Very cool design in lobby and rooms. Nice staff. Shower is super, especially at the end of a long cold day. We really enjoyed our stay.

Elevators are slow and not always responsive, but otherwise all is great.

The fire alarm went off twice due to other residents vaping. One was early in the morning! Scanning card for the lift wasn’t very reliable !

The alarm in our room went off 3 times during our 19 hour stay. The sound was short lived but shrill enough to rip you out of your comfort zone. But the flashing red light continued for quite a while and was stressful. Not sure why this happened...

Great location and great size bed but not great as only one side accessible. So if you’re older, or less able, don’t book.

Property is lovely and clean. Decor is lovely. Staff are a mix - very helpful guy around the check in area vs very odd lady at the bar. Staff seem to hang about but don’t seem to help anyone like an older couple we saw looking for some help for a seat for breakfast and how to get a cup of tea. The staff member just stood there with his AirPods in …. Surely that’s boring for staff and frustrating for clients.

Staff were extremely helpful and proactive. Breakfast quality was high and fresh.

Wasn’t disappointed about anything - only here for a very short stay

It is in the best location, right outside Tower tube station, so most rooms had amazing views of Tower of london and Tower Bridge. Parking at Minories is affordable on Sundays and outside Congestion zone. Breakfast was good. Nothing not to like!

Great hotel, super comfortable bed and pillows, excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff ! Highly recommended! Will come back definitely 👍

Close to tube station, easy to walk to main local attractions. Staff fantastic.

Getting out of the bed which was against the wall.

Always clean, efficient and high tech, these hotels always have comfortable modern social spaces as their lobby. Wifi works great. Staff are always pleasant. Not the largest of rooms but perfectly proportioned for a short stay. When the charging cable for the iPad which is used to control the tech in our room was broken, staff were very quick to replace it for us.

There weren’t enough devices for staff to deal problems with customers who weren’t able to check in using the tablet devices in the lobby. This felt a little more chaotic than usual and it was unclear who was next in the queue. Staff generally do a very good job here, are always friendly and so this is a tiny tiny point.

The location is its greatest selling point. Right outside the station. Right opposite Tower of London. The bed is very big and firm & comfortable. Shower is strong. The ability to change the lights in the room to create different mood is unique and nice. Self check in and out are efficient.

The staff are very cold and impersonal. Staff don’t bother to smile, and the occasional smile is also very forced. The design of the room gives it very little room to open a luggage and walk comfortably around. The bed is far too big and takes up precious space in the room. It is also difficult to get a good sleep unless you are prepared to off ALL the lights in the room. If u turn on the bathroom light, it will be glaring regardless of how low you adjust it as the bathroom is a glass dome and the light will filter out.

The location amazing, I liked how easy it was to check in and check out. Liked the tablet to control the lights, tv, curtains and the AC/heating. The bed was hugeee!

Room is a bit small and has a weird lay out having the sink outside the bathroom and a bit of a see through bathroom situation. The cleaning is not daily and in my 5 day stay they never changed the linen.

The position was perfect, the staff is kind and professional. The room was fine and well equipped

The last day a fire allarm created panico at 6.45am waking up the whole hotel. It was a false allarm. Still i would recommend it

Clean, comfortable, well appointed and cosy. Ideal location right next to Tower Hill station and opposite the Tower of London. Really nice modern decor.

The hairdryer didn’t have much power so if you have thick hair I would bring your own.
