The bed was super comfortable. The building and the artwork are wonderful. And the location can't be beat. The staff were accommodating. They humored my need to practice speaking French and switched to impeccable English when necessary.

A couple of safety issues in the shower: 1. The grab bar is useless, because it is on the wrong wall, behind the toilet. 2. The detachable shower head is placed so high that I had to stand on tiptoes to get it down. Aside from that, and the fact that the lighting in the room is dim (a problem I have at almost all hotels), everything else was great!

my room was large, wonderful, clean, with lovely windows,high ceilings beautiful draperies, and nice furnishings.

The "breakfast" is insufficient and lacks imagination. Provide some fruit and yogurt or something more than croissants. No lids for the paper cups I took to our room? Come on!! The lobby is open and not nicely set up...looks like a room for a convention instead of a cosy private area Create a nice bar..put up a wall or something to separate it from the rest of the front area.

Atmosphere, location, friendly staff, art work, small size

They changed breakfast. Last year included boiled egg and yoghurt. This year weak coffee and pastries

Bed was comfortable. Slept generally well. Location is great

The hotel is showing its age. Bathroom fixtures were loose. Some of the furniture was clearly old. Room had a fridge in it, but we disconnected it because it's compressor was loud

The location, staff and personality of the hotel were amaizing. Would definitely stay there again no doubt.

The parking option is to pay valet parking for the day, is not a bad option but it should be specified on the reservation information.

Breakfast was great despite being almost simple. The fresh buns, coffees, hot chocolate and the great service and its beautiful place made it fantastic. The hotel location was not important so much for me. I wish I could spend the whole stay in hotel :) The room was clean, well designed and had all features I did need to use. The only disadvantage was the TV. I couldn't find out how to reach to public TV channels.

The TV that had not guide or instructions how to use it. Old people like me would like to watch very specific shows and news, and I never found out how to do that :(

Room was big and clean, not fancy but that was fine. I felt we got a better place than I expected for the price. Breakfast is a Croisant and coffee. and it was very good. Great location

A funky little hotel, with a 60’s art deco vibe. Clean, pleasant staff; perfectly located in Old Montreal.

Very well situated. Close to every thing. Right in the middle of the old town. A deux pas à l’église de notre dame. L’architecture extérieure de l’hôtel au top aussi.

The facilities are a bit old but maybe that’s the general vibe. When we first checked in there was a long hair in the bathtub.

We stayed here a dozen years ago. Didn't seem like much had been updated. Lovely but a little tired?

We didn't have control over the temperature in the room, and it was a cold day, around -20 outside. We spoke with the receptionist,but we didn't hear back from her.

the location was spot on for a quick visit of the old part of Montreal, with only a couple of hours, we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Room was huge and so comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly.

Breakfast was a bit sparse, just juice, coffee and a croissant, could have been more there really, some fruit, toast, or being able to take more than one pastry. Left hungry!

The bedroom and sitting room in our king suite were gorgeous, huge, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The lobby had a lot of fun art. The location was ideal: near Notre Dame and several restaurants, pubs, and shops. Water pressure in the shower was great. Though some of the staff seemed a bit inexperienced, they were friendly and helpful.

The bathroom needs a lot of attention. The lighting was far too dim; the shower drain is not in the lowest place, so water pools, cools, and stays on the shower floor till the next time its used; there were small drops of what looked like blood on the wall under the sink; there were only two towels and washcloths for a three night stay; the cord on the hairdryer is not long enough for it to be used easily; no vent, so the walls "bled" moisture after the shower was used; and the shower water was either very hot or very cold...difficult to find "just right." The lighting in the entire suite needs to have brighter options.

3 min walk from metro. Lot's of shopping and restaurants. Nice hotel that is quiet and unassuming, but comfortable and a little posh.

That wi-fi should get 2 minutes for delay of game, plus 2 minutes for unsportsmanlike conduct. Shameful. Absolute 90's quality right here in the year 2025.

The AC was very loud and was not working well in our room. I don’t know it was only our room’s condition or in every room was the same problem. The male front desks seemed a lot of more friendly than the female front desks( including in the cafe)

Excellent location, public garage nearby. Small breakfast included (croissant et cafe).

There was dust in rooms and a frame in 2 of the rooms on the floor waiting to be placed on the wall. Lighting in the rooms was not optimal.

No microwave in room. No protein for breakfast. Parking not included in price.

Location and decorations inside

I left a iPhone charger in the room and the staff claimed they did not find it. Disappointing.

Comfortable bed and huge rooms. Great vibe to the whole place. Lovely staff. Location is incredible to Old Montreal and to the downtown area.

Continental breakfast is up to two croissants, a hot drink, and an orange juice. That's probably stretching the term a little bit, but it was an appreciated morning snack. Most of the TV channels didn't work. Rooms had poor lighting, with very little natural light due to the small windows. Would expect more attention to the internal lighting because of this.

Great location

It does not have a bartender. The bartender at their bar was also someone who helped with luggage. The bar and lobby is so inviting too. Except while seated you look into the gift shop and the employee couldn’t change the channel from news . Also, the front clerk was not welcoming.

Heating didn’t seem to work in the bedroom/living room area, but bathroom heating was good. Room 212. Only stayed 1 night so wasn’t a big deal

Great location to Old Montreal and access to the Metro was just a couple of blocks away.

No restaurant on site and breakfast was coffee and croissant only. Would have been better to have more choice like fruit and cereals

the bar was pathetic , no staffing for it, and when someone did show they had no idea what to do and then the pour was pathetically small and the price outrageous. i would never ever visit the bar again ! all we wanted was one simple drink before going out to dinner. how hard can it be ?

the location was excellent in the old town with easy access to sights, bars and restaurants. the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The WIFI was hopeless. The shower over the bath did not have a hand rail or non slip mat. The door security chai was missing a chain. One side of the bed did not have a table or a light.

Location in Old Montreal was excellent - close to everything . Fantastically quirky decor - just fabulous.

Very sparse breakfast - we felt that our very high room charge should include a much better quality breakfast. Just one glass of orange juice, one cup of coffee, one croissant and one pastry.

Great location

Location in close proximity to Old Montreal gives great access for those visiting Montreal, for example, Notre Dame Cathedral. Hotel has a funky vibe which we enjoyed, lots of artwork throughout.

Staff is OK. Skip breakfast, it was the same all 3 days of our stay. It consisted of croissants or croissants.

Staff very helpful and responsive. Location was great and many things like restaurants and historic attractions were close by. The room on the first floor was quiet and well appointed. Cozy beds.

Booked two rooms, 107, 108 for three days. They were well appointed EXCEPT the CARPET in both rooms was so stained and dirty, that they should be replaced. It rather ruined the total ambience of our stay. Otherwise, lovely.

Lovely pastries. Would have loved better coffee options. Only tea available was green. Not my favorite. A protein option (cheese or egg) would have thrilled me.

Had to lift my heavy suitcase, myself, up a dozen stairs (I’m pushing 70). Help with or even a ramp would be a great addition to your hotel.

Bedroom carpet could do with a clean. Limited pain au chocolat/croissant 'breakfast' on a flimsy paper plate is just cheap. Hotel bar shuts early and night porter refused to serve. Why no restaurant?

Very appealing to artists (I am one). The bohemian ambiance fit me perfectly. Loved the look. My room was larger than several apartments I had in younger days with soaring 14-15 ft ceilings. Floor to ceiling windows on two sides. I arrived hours after planned due to a travel glitch. Wish I'd had more time to enjoy it.

Carpet seemed like it needed a good clean. Otherwise no complaints.
