Our first visit to Venice and we loved it, due in no small part to our choice of hotel.

One of the best on Venice
Ok there's hardly a hotel you come across where almost everything was impeccable but Novecento met this bar.
1. The staff are incredible and very good natured. Lots of communication and help with where to eat, how to get to places and other details only a local would offer. Super awesome. Special Thanks to Nazanin! She was a superstar and I hope you get to work with her. She helped us figure out how to get to the hotel, even made a dinner reservation for us and offered to help us watch our bags even after checkout since we had a later flight. Bravo!!
2 The location is unmatched. Located only 4 mins walk from Saint Giglio stop(pier) which is the last stop for the airport boat ride and the first stop when you head out. Also only 10 mins walk to st Mark's square. And lots of great food options within a few mins of the location. The opera house and other areas are also super close.
3. Breakfast: This place genuinely treated us to one of the best breakfast spreads in the business. We sat at cozy tables where a fantastic (charming) lady served us yogurt, fruit, basket of fresh pastries and made to order coffee (even a personal French press!!) It was magical and they have a lovely quiet garden area where you can sit.
4. Styling: the hotel is family owned and so bears the distinct features of a highly personal and curated lodging. The furniture is antique and well selected adding to the great feeling of being in a city with such a great history.
The only caveats were:
1. The beds are on the firmer side. So keep this in mind.
2. No elevator so if you have a ton of luggage you'll need to be able to haul it up the stairs.

Perfect hotel for your short and romantic stay in the city
Absolute stunning hotel interior. Warm welcoming and hassle-free check-in, the lovely secret garden where you enjoy your breakfast and plan the day, romantic room designed to dive into the Venice’s mood and to feel the vibration of the city. Wonderful staff who can help you with everything during your stay (special thanks to Nazanin). It felt like you were most valuable guests.
Location of the hotel is also convenient for the bus stops and main spots of the city.

Exceptional
Staff extremely friendly and even gave me a little birthday surprise which was very thoughtful - very cute and quaint boutique style hotel that has a warmth to it that chain hotels in big cities do not have. Room was very clean (my only feedback would be that it did get quite hot in the room even with air conditioning) and the breakfast was excellent and went until 10.30am which allowed us to have a sleep in (we were so happy about this!). The woman at the front (I think her name was Nirvana) was extremely friendly and put a big smile on our faces and she was very passionate about guest experience. It was also in a good location and not too noisy. We would come back and would recommend this hotel to others.

The staff were amazing! On our first day we were a little late due to a delayed train, but they stayed back and made sure we had everything we needed to start our Venice trip. The local recommendations made our tour of Venice memorable to say the least. The little visit to the sister hotel Flora for a quick drink before dinner made our hearts smile. Both venues are soooo pretty! Thank you for everything, will definitely be back x

We stayed at Hotel Flora, run bythe same family as NoveCento.
Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly. Perfect location. altogether charming.
