Elysium Hotel Paphos, Cyprus

We were in Cyprus for 2 weeks and spent the last 6 nights in the Elysium and the difference was night and day between the Elysium and others. The service level was exceptional. The hotel itself is amazing in terms of it’s architecture, and the whole family just didn’t want to leave. The photos and video we took doesn't even articulate how much we love this place. You just have to be there, especially when the sun starts to set, you have dinner in the evening with lovely music playing and great tasting food. Both my kids are very picky when it comes to what they eat and they loved the fresh cooked pasta with a tomato based sauced for one and a creamy white sauce for the other. I’m supposed to be eating healthier but I couldn’t resist the Margherita pizza at the buffet dinner. The swimming pools are great and when it got too hot we used the indoor pool. The wifi is great across the hotel and each of us were able to get the things we wanted out of those 6 nights. I was able to use the gym facilities which are really good, and my wife and the kids were in the pool a lot as they love swimming and made some friends at the same time. There’s always plenty of seating available around the pool and when we got hungry the pool bar serves great food. We especially enjoyed the in-room dining service. The table which came with the food was a delight. My kids felt so pampered. This is the 2nd time we been at the Elysium, both times for our wedding anniversary and we absolutely love it. We can’t wait to come back.

Had the most relaxing few days at the Elysium. The service, staff and amenities were excellent. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve ever had!

The stuff is amazing! We arrived with 10 months baby and he got a baby chair every meal, real good baby chair, a real big bed. He got special sanitized dishes every meal. For launch, he got out of charge a meal into the room according our request. That's really amazing! The pool is amazing, although the hotel was quite occupied. There is a feeling in the pool that you are alone. It's construction is fabulous. The stuff in the kitchen and in the pool also very kind. Our leaving was early in the morning and we got a breakfast into the room by our request! The bacco restaurant is a chef restaurant with amazing food! The towels replacement is twice a day. You got bottles of water each evening, free of charge. There are a lot of towels! That's awesome! I really recommend to stay in this hotel! We will definitely get back!

The drinks in the dinner are not included in your accommodation.But even for the water we need to pay? Although each evening we got free bottles of water to the room, that doesn't make sense. We tried different restaurants during our stay and a lot of them really were good. But the mideteriano restaurant we didn't have a chance to try. Once we got there and got a table, there were a lot of aunts there, on the floor, table and etc. The stuff tried to solved that, but we decided to leave the place. It sounds like a really good restaurant, but you must to fix it guys! In addition, we took a room with partial see view. According the photos the most of the view from the room is to a big plant of grass. But our partial view was to the parking with a little bit sea .. I think you should update the photos you present here...

Beautiful location, beautiful building. Very clean everything you need is right there. Local shops, amazing restaurants, pool, jewelry clothing. Amazing staff

The best buffet breakfast I've ever eaten, and the omelette station is 5*!!! Staff are so polite and accommodating. Hotel very clean, and the attention to detail in every aspect is what makes this hotel.

The concerte carpark/ waste land at my balcony. I appreciate its work in progress and you can't all have a beach view. Hurry up and get something nice to look at please.

It’s a beautiful property, with amazing decor, fabulous facilities and located in a great place! The staff are fabulous and go out of there way to make sure you’re happy

All hotel staff were super serviceable! Only want to help you , if it’s in the dinning room or the pool. The hotel is lovely, designed like a castle in Tuscany . Nice selection of gym classes, the pool bar is fun. Great sunsets

I think there are not enough facilities to teens: except the pool they don’t have much to do. Even in the kids club there is no Xbox . The beach is lovely but you can access to the water only from the bridge as the the shore is full of stones . No water sport nearby .

The hotel and staying at it was great! The room was serviced twice a day. Breakfast was excellent (except for coffee which could be much better) and the staff at the breakfast restaurant was amicable and helpful. We enjoyed lunches at the Mediterranean restaurant. The food was delicious, the portions were rather big and the staff was fabulous. The Bacco restaurant is fine dining with exceptional interior, atmosphere and superb food. Yes, it is expensive. The live music at Cafe Occidental is a very nice way to finish the evening. But what we liked most was the "grass beach". You can stay by the pool where it is hot and crowded or you can relax outside of it, on a well-kept lawn under big and shade trees. The sunbeds are far away from each other and you can enjoy privacy. The hotel is really worth staying at!!!

Swimming in the sea was not the best experience as often the sea was full of trash and you had to swim among plastic bags and other items. The hotel should pay more attention to this problem. While having a shower, the water was either cold or very hot. It was not running smoothly. The air-conditioner was noisy.

We had a lovely bday week with my husband and my infant :) The hotel and the stuff were amazing 🤩 The food very good . I got a surprise bday cake 🎂 Thank you for all we will be back soon

Very hot water in the pool

Our visit was absolutely amazing. It was a short break to escape from our routine work life. Apart from friendly smiling (!) staff and great service, we noticed a lot of nuances that are very important when you are on vacations. Lemonade at the chek-in, water provided in the room free of charge, coffee, tea with no extra charge, an option to use the facilities after the check out and even a room for the change provided upon booking a time slot, again with no extra charge. Tasty food (it is such a rare thing!), night service, even a bday cake as a compliment. The building is really authentic and the interior of the rooms is pleasure for eyes. Lovely! ❤️ Thanks for all!

The hotel is not the best option to enjoy sea. But the rest will work perfectly well 😉

Not much of a beach. A taxi drive into Paphos but don’t let any of that stop you! It’s lush and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Hotel was immaculately maintained, rooms are very nice and all that public areas work fantastic. Pool area was also very very good with the grass leading down to the beach. Overall it was wonderful but the most impressive thing was the the friendliness of the staff could not do too much to make you stay happy. Highly recommend

We are long term residents of Paphos and over the years have paid many visits to the hotel.We were members of the Spa/ Gym for nearly 10 years prior to Covid.Visiting for my 80th birthday was like visiting family. The hotel oozes class from being welcomed by the porters and reception staff to being waited upon in the restaurants and cafe. The hotel is spotless and the decor and furnishings are always kept up to date. Mr Christos the General Manager runs a “ tight ship” and many of his people have at the hotel for many years, indicating to me their loyalty and dedication.The facilities are top class and the atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed but professional.
