Hotel De’ Ricci, Rome

Location is very good, close to the Pantheon. Staff is exceptionally attentive. My room was huge with a terrific balcony. Breakfast was very good, served either in the room or in the bar. There is no formal dining room and the menu is somewhat limited, which was alright for me. The hotel did not seem very full, usually I was the only guest having breakfast. I can't say enough about the staff's attentiveness and readiness to oblige.

The price was a bit on the high side and may have been even lowered the following week.

The hotel was clean, absolutely beautiful with a unique decor. There was a cute bar where we got breakfast each morning, which was delicious! There was also a cigar lounge where I enjoyed after dinner cocktail while my husband enjoyed a cigar and drink pairing. The staff was the best part, I have never stayed at a hotel with staff as helpful and nice as they were. I actually missed them personally when we left. One of the best experiences I have ever had! Highly recommend!

Small hotel, just a few rooms, feels very private, vip service.

I am not a big fan of open bathrooms (although the toilets have a door, the shower is basically in the room). The hotel is a renovated traditional building on a small (quiet) street, so rooms are a bit dark.

From the warm welcome on arrival and every time you return after a days sightseeing to the assistance with booking restaurants during our stay, I could not fault this hotel. Friendliest, most accommodating staff, lovely rooms and generally warm and homely yet luxurious throughout! Great location to explore Rome too.

Nothing I did not like. I would not hesitate to rebook here when we return to Room!

+ Great boutique hotel with impeccable interior design + The staff are very friendly and quick to help; one day we sent them a message about booking a a lunch reservation which they did within minutes. The personalized note in the room when checking in was a gracious touch + The hotel is located in the best neighborhood in Rome + The breakfast is fantastic, especially the baked goods + Comfortable bedding with plush pillows + Strong wifi + The hotel has a good wine selection, which is there if you seek it out. The cigar room with whisky pairings is also a nice addition

- The coffee situation: in-room coffee is not the best (the hotel should get nespresso machines) and they charge for it at breakfast which seems a bit cheap

We loved Hotel De' Ricci on every level. The room was gorgeously designed, luxuriously comfortable, immaculate and quiet, and had every amenity you could ask for. The staff was attentive and caring, and truly went out of their way to make us feel at home. The location is perfect—both central and tucked away. You truly could not find a more perfect place to stay in Rome.

Brilliant location, characterful boutique hotel with a true love for wine, fantastic staff.

My partner was really disappointed that eggs were not included in the breakfast. For him it's normal on holiday to have sometimes eggs and it should for these room rates just be part of the excellent (eggselent) service. Yes, we could have ordered it as extra (£13 for scrambled i recall) but it put a bit of a downer on a otherwise fantastic first day of our stay.
