Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore

The facilities catered to our family's needs. The pool and kids play area were a big hit. I loved the gym and spa. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed the fact that it was walking distance to ION mall.

There were no robes in the room and the outside of the room at the balcony didn't get cleaned.

I like the fact that they had a balcony and the bed was super comfortable, the staff were very friendly and attentive . The breakfast was super good and a lot of varieties .

One of the bath robe provided in the room had a tear on the backside and they have stitched it and provided it for the guest wear . A 5 star hotel , stitching their broken bath robes !!! Really ? That much cheap? I wouldn’t expect this from ShangriLa properties !

My stay at Shangri-La Singapore was exceptional. Nestled in lush tropical gardens, the hotel felt like a peaceful retreat right in the heart of the city. The service was warm and attentive, the rooms were luxurious and spotless, and the dining options were top-notch. Whether relaxing by the pool or exploring nearby Orchard Road, everything was perfect. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort and elegance in Singapore.

The staff were super attentive and they helped us with everything Perfect hotel for kids with a nice pool with lifeguards and life jackets for kids, a splash park and indoor soft play

In room dining options could be a bit more

All good. Friendly.especially lobby Nicholas Leung. Try to accommodate us. Mr Husni too. Chef Mathew. Really like that simple egg, toast and kaya (sorry, forgot the name).

Very little. Would have liked a more regular shuttle to the mrt station as the walk could be a bit of a bother but would definitely go back.

We like that there are sufficient play areas for kids. Bathroom was kept clean throughout our stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. The room was decent size for a family with 1 kid, very clean & comfortable. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic - take the option to pre-pay for breakfast when you book as it's cheaper. It's very good, with a mix of wide range of Asian options and Westen options. The Splash waterpark was ok, my kid enjoyed it.

The bed was too hard and made for an uncomfortable sleep. The water park didn't offer a very relaxing experience for parents - very limited seating, mostly taken up by peoples towels.

One of the best breakfast spreads anywhere in the world. There are more than enough stations of different kinds of cuisine. The rooms are fairly well appointed and comfortable. Imaginative spaces for kids on the breakfast floor. Great lobby with plenty of space. A very neat dressing table with lights. Disturbed on one of the nights with a bunch of folks and kids running in the corridors, screaming as they went between rooms. Quietened down after the Manager intervened very promptly after a complaint was made. Not much the hotel can do about badly behaved guests but good to know they dont look the other way.

Probably a better staffed bell desk where porters are assisting would help for a high priced hotel. Rooms are odd shaped, accentuated by the diagonal placement of beds - needs getting used to.

We had an unforgettable time at this lovely apartment in Orahovac. The place was exactly as described – clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The view from the terrace is additional bonus! The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay – a fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and even a washing machine, which was very convenient. The area is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing, yet still close to Kotor and other attractions. One of the highlights was the beautiful swimming pool on the property – it’s very well maintained and offers stunning views over the bay and surrounding hills. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Our host was super friendly and helpful, providing great local tips and always quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat near the Bay of Kotor. We would definitely love to come back!

We were given the Safari themed suite with a mini secret door for the little ones. It was the perfect staycation for myself and my two girls. They said it was the best hotel they've ever stayed in.. they thoroughly enjoyed all the kids amenities and activities (especially the treasure chest)

The breakfast at the Line was abit lacklustre with way too many people and staff too busy. Food, while variety was huge.. didn't taste great (the live Thosai Station is the best). The property is a little bit dated and not very accessible.

I have stayed at the Shangri-La, Orchard many times and have always enjoyed it. The three ‘wings’ have very different characters. The Tower offers a typical good hotel experience, the Garden wing feels more exotic and closer to nature, and the Valley Wing is much more traditional and sumptuous.

There was very little to dislike, and nothing of great importance. Having said that, the location is fine for shopping on Orchard Road and for attractions such as the Botanic Garden’s, but is some distance from the buzz of Marina Bay, Clarke Quay and the museums around Raffles City.

Staff were lovely. Hotel is magnificent. Breakfast was really excellent.

We stayed on the Club Floor which has wonderful staff. Could have done with more diversity in the food for afternoon tea and canapés. Club floor doesn’t have the same vibe as before Covid. It was mostly empty before 7.30

The staff were exceptional. I needed minor first aid which the staff with good knowledge carefully cleaned the wind and dressed it Absolutely kind and caring at no charge

Hotel was amazing, the lobby/reception area and bar etc was lovely. We stayed in the tower wing which is really nice and fairly modern. We didn't eat or drink at the hotel, but that was because we were out early and back late, probably a waste of a nice hotel, not spending more time there, we did you the pool a couple of times and that was very nice.

With what we did and how we did it can't say anything negative as all the things we interacted with was amazing.

Loved the beauty of Shangri-La inside & out. Yhe staff were courteous & efficient. The plants all around - inside and out were beautiful!

There’s no longer a copy of Lost Horizon in the room… and the book mark with Lost Horizon quotes on the bed each evening. You might think that’s trivial but it’s small things that make the Hotel special!.. and why put tea making facilities in the room without milk?

Hard to fault

The room was great size for family and had an outdoor terrace where my husband and I could hang out once kids were asleep. The facilities were amazing especially for kids. The buffet breakfast was one of the best we have had and food at the restaurants, cafe and room service were all very tasty and delicious. For those with young kids, their curtains are really good blockout from floor to ceiling!

One of the most beautiful hotels in Singapore, it was a wonder and delight to stay here. I loved that the hotel was immaculate, and had lush gardens incorporated all around. The main pool was fabulous and had two shallower sections for small children. We loved that for Easter the whole lobby was decorated and children were given chocolate easter bunnies on the sunday. We utilised the free shuttle bus to the shopping malls on Orchard Rd regularly.

While the hotel has every amenity you can think of (e.g children's splash park seperate to main pool, kids play centre, buffet breakfast) all these cost you additionally even though we were guests of the hotel. The children's splash park was fun, but guests only had free access for half a day, then after that you had to pay. The other thing we really struggled with was getting a taxi for a family of 5. The lobby/entrance staff only helped with opening doors and luggage but not ringing up or hailing taxis. There were 3 separate occasions we were not able to get a taxi for at least 20-30 mins. For a luxury hotel they really should have a staff member there to assist guests with taxis.

Beautiful spacious room with really comfortable beds. Staff were so friendly and it was a very luxurious place to stay. Great pools and kids can also use the big splash pad area once per day.

It's a little more out of town but we enjoyed walking and taking the metro.

Great breakfast options, attentive staff but the Splash outdoor water playground for the children was an unexpected added bonus. Excellent facility!

Queuing on check in Limited English foods at buffet breakfast and restaurants are mostly Asian foods.

Long queues at check in ! Buffet breakfast is mostly Asian…only 3 rubbish cereals - coco pops, fruit loops , corn flakes !

You know when you book a Shangri-La the service will be second to none! The outside pool was a high success with 8 and 10 year old girls, but the thought that was given to those with children was brilliant!! Although I knew it as a top business travel hotel, I wasn’t expecting the same for a family vacation. Well done!!

The hotel facilities are really amazing and the staff will go above and beyond for you. Well located and rooms and breakfast were fantastic. The staff is super attentive and we had our smallest daughter birthday and one of the staff took a picture of us with the cake they brought for us. Our small 6 year old daughter was delighted when she saw in our room a frame with the picture printed. Really amazing touch!
