Hotel The Langham, Sydney

Very comfortable friendly and hospitable hotel. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast spread is excellent. We will come again.

We booked a room for my daughter directly with the hotel at the last minute. She was upgraded for the one night, but we were not upgraded and felt it was because we had booked through booking .com.

wonderful staff, extremely comfortable bed. loved the pool, loved the spa, incredible massage therapist

it seemed there was an expectation to tip, this made me uncomfortable

Location and facilities

Everything from the location to the cleanliness to the fact that they allow dogs !the decor of the hotelis amazing and best of all was The signature pink cocktail which was absolutely outstanding and the staff were so so friendly and helpful when one of our party needed a doctor the hotel found one and arranged an appointment and was so nice about it!

The food was mediocre the Breakfast was nice however everything was cooked in the same oil as fish including all of the hot breakfast and the chips which made it extremely difficult for our party to eat at the hotel as several people were allergic to fish

It is a gorgeous property , beautifully appointed , very comfortable.

I didn’t like the way I had to use a QR code for everything from in room dining to information about facilities in the hotel

Unclean coffee table in room. Insufficient tea and coffee supplies. Very expensive breakfast buffet. Staff seemed under-trained.

Elegant and great service and very quiet. We were very comfortable and well attended to.

Dangerous getting into shower, bath is very high, I am six foot and it was difficult stepping into shower. my much shorter wife had to be assisted every time . No hand rails to assist

So luxe and well appointed. All staff were friendly and professional.

The service was exceptional and the room beautiful. Everything was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. We loved the attention to detail - they provided cute little bathrobes and slippers for our two young kids & a colouring book. It made them feel included. We also loved the location - it was a quiet street but still within walking distance of the busy sights. We had the best night and my daughter cannot stop raving about how much fun she had. A beautiful, stress-free & memorable night.

Nothing. They did forget our dessert for in-room dining but before I could even raise it, they realised the mistake and brought it to us.

The staff where every accomodating and gave exceptional service.

The location is a bit out of the way of convenience stores and restaurants/ Cafe The beds are hard and the pillows are flat.

The pool was wonderful and the location and service were exceptional. A bit on the expensive side but still lovely. Food in the bar was fabulous for lunch and dinner.

Bed was a little too hard Food options in the hotel where too limited - the bar was fully booked one evening and room service was at least 1hr. It was raining and we would have had to walk in the rain to find dinner options. Also did not see high tea on the menu though - I thought the Langham had high tea!

Everything was perfect, we cannot wait to stay again! The room was spacious; the bed was so comfortable we would like to purchase one for our home, the staff were kind, professional, attentive, friendly and efficient. It was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was lovely and the amenities were beautiful.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. From arrival to departure. Staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel is super clean. Rooms are beautifully designed and spacious. Service 10/10. Breakfast was yummy and great inclusions.

The hotel is very accommodating for children. The kind and sweet gestures for example. Easter tray on arrival, merchandise (bag) the child size robes and slippers. Although there was a lot of items that shouldn't be out for 2 year olds. Heavy ceramic ornaments and fancy books that could easily be broken by my 2 year old. Thats about it really.

Lovely staff, great personalised experience and recommendations from the concierge. We stayed for our honeymoon and it was really special

Excellent standards across all areas of the hotel. Delighted to see the change from plastic drinking bottles to the glass bottles. Definitely agree with that initiative.

The location was amazing, close to lots of sights, walking distance to everything. I went upgrade and had room with a balcony view of the Harbour, worth a million dollars, amazing. Comfy bed, spotless room, staff were all super attentive and breakfast of everything.

While the breakfast was huge the small dining room and menu for lunch was a bit disappointing, but great coffee. However there are so many eating options close by it didn’t matter at all .

Very attentive and courteous staff was probably the number one. The location was absolutely perfect for cbd shopping or going for walks to see the sights. The room was a good size and a lovely view of the harbour.

There's no reason to complain or nitpick. My wife and I had a great time.

Loved the pool and couples Massage therapy!!! Also loved the attentiveness to room service and all the staff are very lovely and funny and helpful. If you visit the Langham Sydney ,go in the bar and two very talented identical twins manage thw bar and I have to say ,they give the American bar in the savoy a run for there money . We would definitely stay here again! 6 stars for every aspect!!

Location, decor and luxury

A lovely, luxurious room with a huge bed, nice bathroom and views of part of the harbour in a very convenient and charming part of town.

Mini bar/room service prices are exorbitant. We could hear the kids in the next room - quite faintly, but you'd expect better soundproofing at this level of hotel. View of the harbour marred a little by the concrete wasteland of Barangaroo below. Observatory Bar is really just part of the lobby, so it's not quite the classy bar it looks on the website. And why do they need to play trashy music 24/7 in all the public spaces?

The place has been renovated and looks modern. It has that cozy, boutique hotel vibe.

Not the most convenient location. Feels secluded which is nice for a getaway. Barangaroo Reserve is about a 10-15min walk.

Staff goes well above and beyond to keep you happy

Pros: *pet friendly * staff had excellent customer services skills and training * property was beautiful, well kept and clean * room was beautiful and clean * lovely amenities * i even got a room upgrade!

Cons: * nothing to complain about honestly * breakfast was so/so. could have been some more options but that's only if I REALLY had to think of something to improve on.

Absolutely loved our stay. Service from all staff from the time we arrived till we left was second to none. The decor and furniture delightful. Beds and bedding so comfortable.

Good location 15 mins walk from the Rocks area. Staff were excellent - very friendly & efficient. Really good breakfast choices. Everything you could possibly want and superb quality. Swimming pool was a bonus - we swam every day & really enjoyed the 20m pool.

Not a very good bar area - odd shaped & uncomfortable seating. The bar staff were excellent though. The aircon in our room blew down on us from a ceiling vent above the top of the bed. Aircon controls just did their own thing. We ended up sleeping upside down on the second night to avoid another cricked neck.

It was a little walk into the centre. Room service breakfast was very expensive
