I didn’t take breakfast. No staff at the Reception. There is no firmal receptionists. They go home. If neoI needed anything during night, I felt very uncomfortable to disturb the service staff as they have to respond, may be from their homes

The boutique nature and location of the Hotel and garden. Honesty bar and wonderful staff.

There was a beam in my room above the bed and being tall I was worried about hitting. We moved the bed so that solved the issue.

The location was lovely, in a pretty area of Zurich. The house was charming and stylish and the room was very comfortable.

The rooms at this small boutique hotel are expensive, which you would expect. What I did not expect was that I would have to pay $10 AUD for a cup of tea or coffee which was not supplied in the room.

Signeau house is located in downtown Zurich, within walking distance to public transportation, the old town, water front etc. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The house is beautiful and well maintained.

After 8.30pm there are no staff in the house - they leave and go home. This was a problem as the night we stayed the internet went down and no one could help us restore connection. The absence of staff also made it feel like a student dorm, not a guest house. The rooms on the top level (level 3?) are very nice, but the one we stayed in had a concrete strut over the end of the bed which was below head height. As a consequence, my wife inadvertently walked into it and ended up with a nasty lump on her head where she hit it. This had obviously been a problem for other guests as they had attempted to stick silicone tape on the beam/strut. This could be a potentially dangerous problem for others if not rectified.

The helpful, proactive staff, excellent breakfast, wonderful decor and garden, thoughtfully stocked honesty bar.

Very beautiful old house, the interior is stunning. I admire the beauty of this hotel. Convenient underground parking, friendly staff. Very good location to the city center.

Very bad noise insulation. I could hear every step of the other visitors and how people were talking downstairs at night. The room is quite cramped. Very small bed where it was difficult to accommodate two people. The selection for breakfast is pretty small, on the third day, there wasn't much to choose from.

We were very pleased with this place. It is on a quiet street with the lake a ten to fifteen minute walk from the hotel. We also walked into the main town area of Zurich and appreciated even more that we were staying at the Signau property as Zurich was very crowded. The hotel suggested some restaurants that were maybe a five minute walk away. They were good and appeared to be filled with many more locals than tourists.

Everything was perfect- the kindness, hospitality, location, the gardens, the staff. One of our favorite memories of Zurich. An easy walk from the train station, but it felt like a quiet oasis from the city. Everyone went above and beyond and I want to go back to Zürich just so we can stay there again.

Breakfast was fabulous, especially out in the garden terrace. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice sitting areas as well with honesty bars and coffee.

Very poor equipment. Almost no boxes and very few space. It was very hot and the rooms were hot, the don’t have A/C ! Therefore sleeping was not good

The hotel has been set-up in a unique charming house, with carefully selected decoration, surrounded with a beautiful garden. The staff is very forthcoming. The breakfast is better than average and served with love. The toiletry products are of excellent quality.

The honesty bar is slightly overpriced. Check-in times are limited, but the hosts organised for a smooth prepared arrival in their absence.

The house is beautiful and located a short walk from the centre. We spent a few hours reading in the shade in the peaceful garden. As the other reviews say, the staff are lovely.

Stayed here as a base visiting our daughter who lives in Zurich. A beautiful house, well worth seeing. All the staff were polite, helpful and friendly . Nice breakfast, and added bonus of a garage underground, although at cost. 15 mins walk in Zurich ( Belle Vue ) but trams are running all day to use.
