In general nothing. When asked to make another reservation for my next trip but this time with kids I was disappointed to hear that they don’t have family suite for more than 1 child only connecting rooms otherwise the rest was perfect.

I love EVERYTHING about this hotel! The food was good (though we didn’t try all the restaurants). The location was great! The staff were friendly. The rooms were AMAZING.
The hotel is classically elegant, the rooms have actually keys (not key cards). We loved it!

Beautiful Summer days at Baur au Lac
Most beautiful Hotel at Zurich lake. Walking distance to main sight seeings. Very friendly and professional staff. Restaurat Baur’s is simply enchanting. We loved spending time at the Le Hall, Zurich most stunning living room.
Unfortunately there was a summer sound garden festivity while our stay, which didn’t allow hotel guests to enjoy the Terrace restaurant and the Pavilion restaurant during the evening.

If I had to rate my stay out of a ladder from zero to ten I would say: 8,5-9/10
Breakfast has been absolutely perfect, variety of different choices and the ambience as well is amazing
not to mention the outside view.. stunning!
Location is just great while the access from the hotel to the city centre is very easy
Suites must become a bit more spatial

defintely a safe place to stay for a solo traveler like me
I like the location of the property it is centrally located in Zurich walking distance to popular places around zurich close for shopping Near the tram and train station it is also near the Christmas markets around. I like how the staff are all very helpful from the welcoming team concierge front office interns who helped me during my stay. they were all very accomodating and was able to cater to all of my request. was traveling alone but they managed to make me feel home. to the concierge team very efficient and thanks for helping me for my lunch reservation it is very hard to book for a restaurant in Zurich so Manuel if I’m not mistaken helped me. though not only this but with a lot of things like shipment to my home town, nearest church and all. was very kind and helpful.

Baur au Lac was wonderful!
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, it’s location perfect and the staff exceptionally professional, friendly and helpful.
The nearby construction was unfortunate but the staff made every effort to make our stay at Baur au Lac comfortable.

Outstanding Hotel, Service & Hospitality
Everything was excellent. Baur au Lac in Zurich and San Souci in Vienna are the two best hotels i have ever stayed at. (Stayed in maybe 60 different 5 star hotels in the last 10ish years)
The ooonnnlllyyy thing I can say was that when we came to our room, the door was left unlocked to the adjacent room. But this was handled in 2 minutes so not really an issue.

Felt treated like a duke in a friend's palace
Breakfast, central location, warm and helpful staff, feeling like "at home" away from home. A sense of traditional hospitality rather than standardised guest care procedures. Expensive but it is worth every cent paid

Incredible Experience
I have had the good fortune to stay at some of the most exquisite hotels the world has to offer, but this place stands in a league of its own. I don't know that I have ever encountered such warm, helpful, and inviting staff anywhere. The only thing we didn't like about the stay was having to leave. We'll definitely be back.
