Great location and staff are very helpful and kind.

We made a reservation for three people, but there were only two sets of towels and slippers in the room. The bathroom has a sewage odor which was unpleasant. There were only mint tea bags available, and just two of them in the room.

Being in a city, parking was an issue. The hotel sent me several emails saying it was valet parking only. $60 a day plus $25 city valet tax, plus tax, plus tips. 3 days would have cost over $300. They could have pointed out parking apps that could reduce the cost dramatically. I used wizzpark. $40 for 3 days in a secure car park in the same street as the hotel. They could point customers at these apps...... The room was pretty warm, even with the air con on. It wasn't summer....

Not run well - gave room key where room was occupied, staff complaining about each other, no room service, view of the back was horrible

From an admin point of view they messed up and overcharged me and I am still waiting for this to get fixed. They saying they did but I have to wait for the bank to process this

An airconditioner is loud. The staff of the hotel is busy and not very attentive

Rooms were too hot, temporary AC units were unable to cool the rooms.

This is a lovely hotel and great staff . The rooms are huge but are a little tired and there was no heating in the rooms. on a few days it was cold weather the rooms were freezing.

we couldn’t use the roof top as it was booked for a private function and we struggled a bit with the breakfast next door as we have dairy intolerant members of the family

Proximity to the river and main areas of Georgetown. The rooftop.

Very uncomfortable noise in the room due to outdated air conditioning. Difficult to sleep.

Staff was amazing, the location was perfect for access to not only Georgetown and surrounding sites, but also walkable to the Kennedy Center.

I had two issues with the room. One of the issues was no hot water for either morning or evening, shower, and the air conditioning in the bedroom part of the suite was not working so I ended up having to sleep on the couch in the living room, where the air conditioner worked just fine. The staff, however, was very sympathetic to that issue and very responsive, although we were not there long enough for them to make repairs.

Very good location, near main shops and restaurants Staff was very nice but we felt a kind of small business operation. Nevertheless they were very supportive and friendly Huge room! Plenty of space and very comfortable

Excellent location in Georgetown close to many good restaurants and the river and canal. Made a great base to explore Washington. We had a King Suite which was a large bedroom with an additional seating area so we had lots of space for a city hotel. Breakfasts were nice in the cafe next door (also part of the hotel). The hotel is on a side street so for a city was fairly quiet and it was nice to stay out of the Washington DC city centre.

On reflection a bath would have been nice. We certainly had enough space for one. Pity Georgetown does not have a subway link to the city centre, but taxi's were available via hotel reception and were not expensive to and from the main sights at the start and end of each day.

Staff seemed a bit confused, especially when I asked about why I was overcharged. I asked for an itemized bill and was not provided with a full cost breakdown. Also housekeeping was virtually non-existent other than turndown service. No tidying, new towels or fresh water bottles etc.
