Small but cosy room. I liked that it was very stylish. The location is superb in front of my favourite museum. Whilst you are in the room, you do feel that you are a special guest.

However, as soon as you visit the restaurant (which is also famed for nice breakfast etc.), you lose the feeling of being special - quite rude service, overpriced food, too salty and generally not as nice as advertised.

Wonderful beds, superb pillows and duvets! The room was so beautiful and elegant and didn't feel like staying in a hotel. Loved the restaurant, the breakfast was really extraordinary, not the usual continental breakfast, it was much better, felt like sitting right in the heart of Vienna's coffee house culture. The best location you can wish for if you want to stay in the centre. There's also a covered parking right next to it.

Felt like the perfect place to stay! Excellent location across from Albertina (our room had a window seat with a great view) helpful staff, quiet, pristine.

As others have noted not much of a lobby (not that it mattered much)

Great location and the Deluxe room has great views. Also the complimentary bottle of wine was a great inclusion. The breakfast at the restaurant was exceptional though not included with the room but it was well worth the money.

Just that, we had to call room service for hot water for teas.

Brilliant central location, really nice room with good facilities. Excellent staff particularly the lovely hall porter. The restaurant cum café was the real bonus. Lovely staff and exceptional coffee. Very good breakfast. Thororoughly recommended as a top spot to both stay and eat.

The reception are is tiny and felt cramped during peak season but the staff friendliness and service levels more than make up for it!

Guest House is literally a five star hotel. It is obvious that there is a really good team behind this. Every detail has been thought. I am very happy to stay here and I am grateful for the service.

No kettle in the room. Normally we request a kettle if not in situ but not possible here which was a first for me. Able to call for hot water which was promptly brought up but, a kettle would have been preferred

Fantastic location, close to the Hofburg, the Graben and many beautiful sites. Very comfortable beds, very quiet bedrooms.

We liked everything!

The location was central to Christmas markets, shopping, and popular sightseeing locations. The room was modern and cozy, a hard balance to achieve, but they did it perfectly. Plus all of the staff were courteous and thoughtful. Our stay here was the highlight of our trip. I wish we had more time to spend.

My double room was well appointed and quaint but fine for a solo traveler. You really can’t beat the location. It’s Nextdoor to two of the more famous cafes, pedestrian main shopping zone, Albertina, Spanish Riding School, and the Opera House. Staff at check-in and the lobby were great. There is a lively cafe below but no noise in the room and I was on floor 1. Overall, a pleasant quick stay and I thought good value based on the location alone. They also provided complimentary alcoholic beverages and bottled water which was a nice touch. I did not partake but a nice touch.

It’s more like a good boutique hotel rather than the 5-stars listed on the website as doesn’t really offer any amenities or have the number of service staff. Just a noticeable difference as I’ve been to the 5-stars next door.

Location was good. Staff was excellent and very friendly. I was looking for another place to stay after a horrible experience at another hotel and the staff was friendly enough to show me - not everywhere is like this. No swimming pool or gym but the stay was comfortable enough. The room was very comfortable with everything you need and in the right place. The restaurant was also good with professional staff. You can order room service casually and it feels like home:) It saved my sanity from another horrid stay at another so called 5 star hotel in Vienna.

If I had to be critical, I saw some dust on some surfaces (e.g. TV stand, towel rack); the sink could be deeper; and the sink knobs could be less smooth (hard to turn with wet hands); but these are insignificant when the overall stay was so pleasant.

Friendly staff, assisted with luggage, fantastic bakery next door, clean room, best location. Would recommend.

Pillows were not pillows, uncomfortable flat pancakes, the room wasn’t soundproof as I could hear a lot of tapping, and that wasn’t during business hours if you know what I mean. Also, staff or someone woke me up several times by knocking on my door in the mornings, to clean the room, not sure, but was very annoying.

A very cozy boutique hotel across the Albertina and just a few steps away from the Opera House, shopping strip and restaurants. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. A shout-out to the Filipino staff who always went above and beyond.

Zero lobby, small check in desk to elevators. Nothing special, tho for the price, the free mini bar, coffee machine, and comfortable bed could be worth an overnight.

Free options in mini bar including some alcohol (not fizz) was welcome. Excellent coffee machine in room but no/limited milk. Large comfortable modern room with couch and walk-in robe (but not enough drawers or coat hangers).

Foyer taken over by bistro/eating space with minimal casual seating. No breakfast option other than a la carte in bistro which was expensive. No kettle in room meant ringing down for hot water for tea every morning. More coat hangers please! Air con not cold enough.

Superb location. The view across the city from our 7th floor room was sensational. The room itself was spacious and very well furnished and equipped with a bean-grinding coffee machine, no less! There was a window seat so you can soak up even more of the view. Complimentary wine and soft drinks were replenished daily. We didn’t have breakfast included but the a la carte breakfast (served all day) was excellent value and very good quality. All the city landmarks were a short walk away.

Only a very minor thing but a kettle would have been useful for morning tea, rather than going down to the bar to get a pot of tea.

We loved this hotel! The food at the restaurant was excellent. The room linens are so soft for a great nights sleep. We booked one of the rooms with windows to the city viewing the museum across the street. I loved the sounds of the horse carriages and the hustle and bustle of the Vienna streets. The staff is very accommodating and the manager and concierge were extremely helpful with our questions since it was our first time in Vienna.

One day 2 of our staying, we when out from 10 AM - 4 PM (we put the “please make up the room on thedoor) but when we came back our room had not been cleaned yet.

Comfortable location next to opera house. Breakfast was good, not exceptional. The venue is more modern, very clean. Reception was very good, they were helpful with the luggage!

The reception was a little small for the busy time of the day, checkin and outs, very small waiting area.

Super location, just in front of the Albertina entrance and diagonal to the Opera. Cross street from main places but quiet and tranquil enough for a good rest.

The price was a little high for the amenities the hotel offer. But everything else was very good.

The location was excellent! Right in the middle of the Innere Stadt. The room was beautiful, and the extra touches were great. From the chocolates in the room , the welcoming note, and the complimentary bottles of wine, beer and soft drink in the mini bar!

The room was beautiful, but there was no place to unpack your clothes, and the bathroom was small, didn’t have much room to set out your toiletries.

Comfortable, clean, excellent location. Plus fantastic beds and shower.

The room was a good size and very comfortable. There were electric outlets in convenient places, and everything was well thought out. My husband enjoyed the free bottles of wine. The hotel is within walking distance of bakeries, restaurants, and shopping.

Despite all the many positives, I would not stay there again because I hated the frosted glass shower door that allowed me to be seen from the bedroom. I like privacy when I shower. I'm not interested in trendy decor. This is a personal thing and shouldn't keep anyone away, as the bathroom was fine.

Great location. Staff on reception and porter really friendly and efficient. Room was excellent. Comfy bed, great shower and complimentary wine and soft drinks. Brasserie was great for a late breakfast.
