Ruby Lissi Hotel, Vienna

I really enjoyed staying in Ruby hotel. Excellent location, really near to tram,train,coffee shops and a minute to the heart of city center. It was really quiet area with many restaurants near by. The room was clean, comfortable, not any noises from drills or neighbors and excellent taste of decoration:) Definitely suggest it!!

Kettle will be nice for early birds or night owls even if there is a small coffee/tea room in each floor

Great location, literally 10 minute walk to the main cathedral and only minutes from the metro. Rooms are very spacious and clean and bed is very comfy. All staff were very helpful and friendly!

The walls are quite thin so you can hear other rooms walking/banging around quite clearly. We also stayed in January but the room was still very hot, the staff said the air con isn’t turned on at this time. They did bring us a fan on the second night.

It was very good overall and I really liked the location.

I would have appreciated the room being on a higher floor, as there was hardly any lighting.

Centrally located hotel, it has a train and tram station nearby, I loved the self check in and check out part.

I didn’t really like the room, the bathroom and the bed next to it. Plus, you can hear all the noise in the room. :(

Location is GREAT! nearby the U train, very center, with local shops nearby- Supermarket, bakery and etc.

The room's shower- no curtains on both side, which mean there is no privacy (to take into consideration when you travel with a friend and not partner). but beside that all were great!

I really was surprised that there wasn’t a kettle with the box coffee or tea bags like we used to have in the hotels we stayed .

Location was very good! Very close to metro (green line) and the city center. Also many food options nearby the hotel.

The wc design was not very convenient.

Staff behavior is perfect. They are so helpful and kind all time. Hotel location great.

Wc and Bathroom Doors are transparent. Its tolerable somehow but doors are not seperate from room itself so you can be wake on middle of night from flush noise.

The location is fantastic—super close to the city center, making it easy to explore Vienna. The hotel is stylish and modern, with a really cool interior design and brand communication. Even though we stayed in the “Nest” room, it didn’t feel too small. The bed was very comfortable, and the view from the window was lovely. The breakfast was delicious and offered plenty of variety, with enough options for meat, fish, and veggies. The staff was super friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable! Overall, the value for money was great, and we had a wonderful time enjoying Vienna.

It would have been nice to have bottled drinking water in the room, as well as a tea or coffee set for convenience. While it was possible to order tea at the bar or go elsewhere to make it, having these options in the room would have been much more comfortable. Despite these small issues, we had an amazing stay and would recommend this hotel for its style, comfort, and location!

Room was excellent. Clean and modern looking and contained everything you need. Shower and toilets were behind frosted glass which was a bit unusual, so make sure you stay with someone who you are comfortable with 😄 Location is PERFECT. Just outside the hotel is a u-bahn station (red line) which gives you easy access to the core parts of the city. So convenient. Staff were on top form and were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Some small issues with the room such as our safe didn’t work and one of the soap dispensers in the shower didn’t work either. But these were minimal really and overall we enjoyed our stay. We didn’t report this to the staff as it really wasn’t a big deal to us and I am sure they would have dealt with it swiftly.

I loved the location, just a short walking distance to the city center and conveniently accessible via the Schwedenplatz tram station. The customer service was excellent, making us feel truly welcomed. The room was nice and cozy, with simple yet sufficient facilities that perfectly met our needs. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Great location, the staff as a whole were super friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was a highlight and tasted very fresh and healthy, the barista coffee was great.

We weren’t able to add on breakfast for future days as the discounted rate was only applicable if selected on check in, we ended up having breakfast for the first day and then wanted to add on for the additional days but were told we were only able to access the discounted rate at check in, so we needed to pay an additional 5 euro per person for each day which was a shame. Not the staffs fault, it was the system which didn’t allow to add on.

Staff very friendly, bed comfortable, breakfast good. Location is good, on river, 60 metres from Subway and tram stops. Not the poshest area but some good restaurants within walking distance. Warned of building work on roof terrace but experienced no problem, room was quiet. Bar open 24 hours. All hotels in Vienna are expensive and this was one of the lower priced hotels close to centre and old town area. Comparatively good value.

Not much space for clothing, just a hanging rail with 6 hangers and a high shelf.

there are doors on corridor closing different sections. My room was very close to one of those and you can hear well those doors opening and closing from early morning.

Sink was clogged when I checked in, had to ask from reception to fix it the following morning. No desk or table for laptop, no convenient shelves/cupboard for clothes.

It was very different having a bar to check into hotel but quirky and nice. Staff were happy and helpful.

Breakfast was very limited and had to enter through back door later at night.

The location to the city centre and underground train station. The room was clean and comfortable. The downstairs lounge area was comfortable and quirky. It was lovely. The reception staff and the young guys at the bar were friendly and helpful.

The room shower/bathroom setup was strange. It was ok, but too much water went into the toilet area from the shower each time. The area was quite small. Not a deal breaker though.

Modern functional room. Big bar. Convenient location (metro, boats, airport bus 5 minutes away …). Walk to the central tourist sights.

Room was perfect for what we needed - clean and comfortable, great location. We didn't eat at the hotel - but liked the little coffee room.

There was significant construction work happening at the hotel which was not advised until AFTER the booking was confirmed (not refundable). Luckily I was out all day but imagine the works would have been very disruptive. It also resulted in my room being essentially dark, as the work was directly outside my window.

Hotel was in a great location. Breakfast was outstanding and for the most part the room was nicely done.

The shower was in the room and separated by a shower curtain and glass. It was a bit different but very easy to make work.

I was disappointed with the entry and lobby, as well as the breakfast. The open-view shower design was uncomfortable, especially when staying with friends or family. Overall, the experience did not meet the standard I expect from a 4-star hotel.
