Ruby Lissi Hotel, Vienna

Great location, room was well-appointed, staff were very friendly and helpful.

The entrance was not nice, like you were going into the London Underground. The black corridors to the rooms were not attractive. The vending machine was not on my floor and when I found it not in use so I had to get water from the bar. There should be a machine selling bottles of water on every floor.

Bathroom a bit uncomfortable to use, bed sheets a bit rough, the staff didn’t gave all the info upon arrival so when came late in the night was difficult to find how to come in to the hotel

10 out of 10 for the location. And the deco was very interesting.

The breakfast area was not conducive to big groups.

Very nice interior, nice bars both at reception and upstairs. Great decorations. Good breakfast, confy bed! Subway station just a few steps away. Close to everything. Had a great stay!

We really would have liked to have a coffe machibe and tea in the room. Also, a bathtub.

Well located nice staff , it’s really central . Didn’t quite appreciate how central the first night.

It’s very large and I think they could improve the internal signage . It was hard to find our room the first night .

Someone from the cleaning staff stole $50 from my wallet which I inadvertently left behind in my room. Didn’t realize till we were at the train station leaving for Budapest.

Didn’t experience the breakfast, probably because I’m too cheap. Central location, great staff and wonderful furnishings made this splash out worth while.

It is a “do it yourself” everything! Check yourself in. Hotel tries to be chic and cool with speakers in room??? Wifi was not good at all in my room. Had to go to lobby. Just wasn’t a good stay for me. Hallway is really dark! Black!

Perfect location, Stefandom is a 10-minute walk away. The room is clean, the bed linen and towels are perfectly white, the bed is comfortable, and there are plenty of pillows. Friendly staff.

The shower door opens into the toilet, and there is no place to put a foot towel. There is no minibar.

Room was clean and modern. Good amenities. The bar and the rooftop were nice additions.

The way the toilet and shower are in the room, behind only glass, was a little awkward. The fixtures themselves were nice, but the layout of them in the room was unusual.

Breakfast was different and tasty. A nice international selection. Reasonably good coffee. Barista coffee service was good. Comfy louge chair area where I work for the afternoon on checkout. I'd definitely stay again.

I like the personal touch. while the bar staff helped me check in, the default approach is through two ipads on the reservation desk and via an app. it worked, but I arrived late and tired and would have appreciated a friendly receptionist for support on arrival...

Would be better to have kettle+tea in the rooms. Also daily cleaning, not 2 times a week would make a difference.

There was no telephone service from the reception and the bathroom with the glass quite inconvenient . Also it was hot in Vienna in August and there is no refrigerator

The staff is amazing, was super accomodating of you needs - we had a slight complaint towards something in the facility and we were taken serious from first second and the staff helped solve the situation which really make you feel like you matter! They have a very thematic interior and if you’re into that they go full out on that. The location is TOP! You can literally walk to everything - BIG big recommendation from here.

We had a bit of a messy start but it was just an unlucky day - the staff was WONDERFUL and really did their best to fix everything.

Walking distance to historic center. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Lobby and bar are very nice. They have a small galley on each floor where they have free coffee, tea or hot water. Staff are very nice and accommodating.

Rooms are a little smaller for longer stays. Should be ok for shorter stays.

Great for solo travelers who appreciate a bit of stylish luxury but don't need a minibar or phone in the room. Room had a good size and black-out curtains. Location in the first district is great.

The building is a bit weird (and shared with the Austrian mail company), the night entrance at Fleischmarkt can be hard to find. If you are a woman traveling alone and going out at night it might be uncomfortable since there are a lot of (drunk) party people hanging out at Schwedenplatz and around the entrance. You open the entrance door with your key card and then there is an elevator. It is not as welcoming as going into a hotel and seeing staff and a reception.

We love the location that was pretty close to the center. It was walking distance to Saint Stephen’s cathedral and to both word seeing .The room was spacious, the beds comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, we are very satisfied.

The hotel location was perfect for the conference I was attending. It was quiet, clean, and has lovely shampoo/conditioners.

The check-in was problematic as they had some issues with the room and suggested to move me to another hotel. However, I picked this location primarily for the location to the conference (3mins away) so moving was not possible. The hotel staff not only didn't notify me because they said they didn't have my contact details (through booking.com) so I didn't find out until 7pm I had to move. After 30mins of agony and stressful conversation, the hotel staff finally agreed to offer me an existing hotel room rather than moving me.

We really enjoy our stay at Ruby Lissi Hotel (April 26 to May 3, 2025). The room was just renewed and very confortable and clean. Location is perfect to reach the main touristic points in Viena, by foot or by metro. The breakfast is nice, although expensive. But the pizza at the bar was wonderful.

We only missed a frigo bar in the room. And on Sunday, we left the room to have breakfast at the hotel and when we came back to the room it was already clean and the door was not completely closed. It was an unconfortable felling. The temperature in the room is central controlled. Just a litle possibility to change that. For me it was warm along the nigth.

Nice location, close to everything there is to visit. The staff was helpful and friendly. I had to check in super late because my train was 3 hours late and there's someone 24h/24 at the reception.

You hear everything in the corridor. It was pretty calm when we arrived but I cannot even imagine if you have noisy neighbours. The toilets and shower have glass panels that are directly in the room. The toilets ones are blurry but it's really lacking privacy. Every time your significant other is in there you can guess their silhouette and it resonates. If you are with friends the shower transparent glass is directly in the room so you can see everything. There's also no fridge which is a bummer.

I feel that for a 4-star hotel, it needs more care, for example: bathrobes, a water heater, coffee, and tea. More attention to ensure the stars and the price paid are commensurate. From rooms 1 to 21, there is no security; anyone can directly access these rooms without any obstacles. I don't understand.

Affordable stay with a nice room and friendly staff. Very helpful with maps and planning. Bar downstairs.

Air conditioning was just okay.

Great location, 3 mins from the underground, 15 min walk from the CAT and to the Hofburg Palace and all the shops. Comfortable room with a good bed and bed linen, really nice bathroom products. The bar also doubles as the breakfast room and the decor is quirky but suits the place. Breakfast is a buffet with lots of good, fresh choices. Thought it was good value for money and I really enjoyed my stay.

Very strange concept of the shower being open in the room and would have benefitted from the glass being frosted like with the loo. Minor point.
