Motel One Staatsoper, Vienna

Location. We were given a room with a balconey and as we were leaving early the next day they only charged us for the room and not breakfast.

Great location. Walkable to all our activities. Modern, clean rooms. They had a room ready for us to check-in when we had a morning arrival from the US. It was a great bonus to be able to wash up and get organized after an overnight flight. They also had a secure place to store luggage on our checkout day.

Just beautiful it had everything close to main areas of Vienna.

LOCATION= perfect few steps from the opera, 2 min from the metro line The room was perfect, clean, and comfortable

It was modern, clean, comunication was easy, the room was ready at 10am and even if the location could be noisy it was perfectly soundproof.

It could have more amenities in the room like a mini fridge and a small closet.

Rooms were not cleaned every day. Facilities didn’t change for our 4 days leisure. Everything else was great.

For the price I paid, I expected a bigger room and the hotel is enormous, so there’s lots of corridors to walk to get to the room. the staff is great. The breakfast was ok, but should have more options

Bespite being on the 5th floor the room had no view at all since the little balcony was facing a wall. Bathroom was really "minimal" i.e. very very small.

Highly recommend staying at this hotel. The location is a 10 minute walk away from the central square, but very convenient. Everything at the hotel felt premium - the rooms, the lobby, the lobby bar - all were really nice. The AC worked well.

Perfect location to visit Vienna center by foot. Metro is at 3 min away (3 lines). The hotel is in a beautiful and stylish old building and it is very clean (room cleaned every day). The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had everything we needed, the air conditioning worked very well. The staff is very professional and friendly. The ground floor (next to the reception area) has a very nice bar area, where you can spend time after dinner, to chat with friends (it is a tranquil place, not a noisy one). Breakfast was ok. I liked it more than other Motel One hotels that I stayed in.

You need to ask at the reception which of the 4 lifts you need to use (not all of them stop at all floors). Once you know which ones are your lifts, it's fine.

I only didnt like that there isnt water, tea or coffee as complementary in the room. At least a small bottle of water in the room would be so good.

Excellent location, very clean. The building itself is stunning. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. The double windows provide good sound insulation for a good night's sleep. For those with thick hair, I'd recommend bringing your own hair dryer as the one in the room lacks power.

Excellent location for exploring all the important sights on foot, but also the hotel is just one minute away from Karlsplatz U4 metro station. Breakfast is a wonderful array of organic produce, plus good to see a selection of non-dairy milk for the lactose intolerant. There could have been more fresh fruit

No minibar in the rooms. The layout of the corridors is a labyrinth, a bit more signage would help

Modern, clean hotel – pleasant and bright entrance and lobby. We got a room on the 4th floor, facing the street towards Karlsplatz. The room was perfectly fine and bright. Excellent, tasty breakfast. Great location close to the city center, right next to the metro. Excellent value for money!

The pillows in the room were personally too high for us.
