Extraordinary hotel with cool design and beautiful rooms

This was a unexpected surprise hotel when it came to the interior decor and design. What a pleasant place to stay with amazing architecture. The rooms utilized every square inch with beautiful tapestry like wall coverings to hide the refrigerator, sink, etc. in what was a suite. Very conveniently located with an easy walk of approximately 15 to 20 minutes into the heart of the old city. The staff was very helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel for someone staying in Vienna.

Everything ! The staff were exceptional, the welcome drink made such a wonderful first impression and the room decor was magic. The dining room was lovely, great menu , and the cocktails delicious too!

Great location and aesthetics. Walking distance to museums, shopping, etc. Staff in hotel is fabulous. You are greeted with a cocktail when checking in. Art throughout. Lovely hotel.with a phenomenal gourmet restaurant with excellent ambiance, food and service. . Also a rooftop bar and restaurant with limited casual food. Average views but nice to be on rooftop. Pretty and cozy rooms.

Visited early September which is apparently end of season for fresh produce. Dined on rooftop and food and service was average and they couldn’t even provide a fresh salad. Staff was not super attentive. Feel like it was the timing. During prime season probably better.

The hotel was very modern and clean. The double room was spacious. The tube station is literally a 30 second walk from the hotel only 2 stops away from central attractions.

Room could do with a full length mirror and mini fridge for own items.

beautiful room and building in general. Friendly and attentive staff, very good location, the sauna was surprisingly big for a hotel in the city and was a great option to relax after a day of sightseeing, great bar at the top with good cocktails

Bed, shower, location next to metro stop, nice breakfasts, lovely roof bar, in a less touristy more Viennese neighborhood.

Price. You pay utterly top dollar here.

The rooftop bar and restaurant was lovely!

Housekeeping didn’t empty the trash or remove and replace the cups and glassware used the night prior.

The hotel itself was wonderful overall. Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The restaurant on top floor was amazing. Ate there for breakfast and dinner.

One of 2 elevators was out of service. Not too bad though. Small boutique hotel so worked out fine.

The room was fantastic, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, arranging transport to the airport, and the location was great. Numerous restaurants and coffee shops are nearby. Next to the U-bahn was a plus. Room and hotel was quiet.

Really beautiful hotel. Perfect interior design, the smallest details were thought of. The beds are comfortable, the towels are soft and thick, everything is perfectly clean. Staff too kind, for example I forgot my mobile phone when we checked out and they sent them by taxi to the airport very quickly. On the roof of the hotel is a great restaurant for breakfast as well as a bar. The location is ideal. I will definitely come to this hotel again when I come to Vienna.

The only bas thing is that there are two elevators, one was’t working, so it is always crowded and there is a long wait.

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Hotel Motto — it’s the most gorgeous boutique hotel in Vienna. The room was stunning, beautifully decorated, and a lovely size. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything about the design and atmosphere made it feel so chic, like stepping back in time in the best possible way. We knew in advance that breakfast wasn’t included, which wasn’t an issue for us at all as there are so many bakeries and cafe very close by. The staff were fantastic — warm, professional, and always helpful. The location suited us perfectly: while it’s not right in the center of the old town, we knew that beforehand, and it made exploring Vienna really easy. We honestly could not have asked for more in terms of our accommodation. If you’re looking for a stylish, elegant, and truly special boutique hotel, Hotel Motto is an absolute gem. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Stunning decor, well designed room (esp for sharing with another person in a twin). Bonus it's got a rooftop, nice restaurant/bar and sauna.

I thought the staff in the restaurant could have been a bit more accommodating - esp as we were hotel guests.

We enjoyed everything about Hotel Motto: welcome drink, lobby staff were exceptional, location, terrace bar( although host on our last night could have been more professional), restaurant ( waiter was wonderful!), and overall Hotel aesthetic was impressive ( all details throughout property connected!). We loved our peacock room; gorgeously appointed room. We cant wait to return!

• The location was incredible!! Bus station, metro station less than a minute’s walk from the hotel- and if you just wanna walk around the city you are located right in a central street with plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and in a vibrant and simply fun strolling area. Also, close enough to walk to most of the attractions and catch more of the city’s amazing views on the way. • The hotel itself is beautiful and designed in a romantic architectural style with a modern twist that gives a sense of calm, you can see the thought behind the small details. • The room itself is well planned and not small, beds were comfortable, there was plenty of closet space and the air conditioning worked great which is important since not all places throughout the city even had air conditioning. • The service at the hotel was exceptional! You were always welcomed with a smile and willingness to help and serve the best they could, whether at the reception or the restaurant (which btw was really delicious and not at all pricey compared to other breakfast places in the city) As for the value for money, completely worth it! The hotel itself in comparison to other hotels that I’ve checked in the area even cost less than most other places

Property was in a great location right beside a metro. Nice places nearby to eat and very easy to travel around Vienna from the location. Rooms are very nice and could’ve spent longer here

Pricey room bar

The staff were very attentive and the room was very clean and stunning. The location was perfect for travelling around the city and the dining area is very nice.

The room lacked an adequate trash can and refrigerator. The refrigerator only hosted items for purchase leaving very little room for food. Other than that, the room was great.

Great location. It’s on Mariahilfer street (pedestrian zone with lots of shops). It’s 10 minute walk to the market (interesting food there) or you can take the subway to the city center (3 stops). Subway entrance is a cross the street. We strolled down the Mariahilfer street to downtown (cathedral) and came back by subway. Hotel has its own bakery with really good coffee (I’m a coffee fan). The bakery has a terrace on the Mariahilfer street. We finished the day in a hotel’s rooftop bar. If coming by car, a garage entrance (with lift) is across the street.

We experienced very poor customer service from the Restaurant nightshift staff. We waited almost 2 hours for our supper, they went to the incorrect room number.

We enjoyed our stay in such a modern and lovely room with all what you need. The location is great to access the city centre and the room is big enough to spend the time comfortably for work. Plus friendly and helpful staff!

It was a shame to find some spots in the linens and towels, but still acceptable. Equipping more plugs in a room would be helpful.

Super stylish, modern and contemporary furnishings. Kooky. Great breakfast and roof terrace. Staff were great, especially the night manager who was full of energy and passion for Vienna, despite our time of night of arrival.

The gym, sauna and steam room is small (the steam room only fits 1 or a couple), we were hoping for more of a spa experience. That said, it was the perfect end to a day of sightseeing and no one else came in while we were there.
