LaGare Hotel Murano, Venice

Fantastic location at cozy Murano Usland with comfortable private shuttleboat to the airport and very close to vaporetto stations to and from mainland Venice. This is my favourite hotel in Venice. Rooms are modern, spacious, comfy and very clean and quiet. Breakfast offers an extensive variety of delicious options. Bar, restaurant and coffee shop offer great service and good food, beers and wines.

For 1 stay, the hotel blocked 5 amounts on my credit card and although I paid everything at checkout, they released the main amounts only after my complaint after 3 weeks and still 3 amounts haven't been released although we left the hotel a month ago.

The staff at the hotel were amazing, friendly, professional and extremely helpful, from reception to the bar/dining team and house keeping. We arrived at the hotel having realised we had left an important bag on the water taxi, before we even checked the the hotel receptionist made a number of calls and reassured us our bags would be with us in an hour which it was. Whilst they have been some changes to the hotel since our last visit regarding the dining room, our entire stay was perfect. Highly recommend the hotel firstly because of the dedicated team in place, secondly the location and enviroment.

It's true Hyatt style. Always lovely. We had some trouble getting to the hotel. Instructions wasn't clear. I'm always confident that I can get to where I'm going. But if you don't understand the water bus system, you are in for a surprise. Help... yep, few are willing to glance in your direction when your Italian is limited. Even when they do, they look at you like you have lost your marbles. You are left to figure it out on your own, in the rain, with luggage. I feel like the hotel needs to take a bit more responsibility. There should be a step by step option 1, 2 and 3 to get to the hotel. I sent a message asking for help to get to the hotel, I got a confusing war and peace novel. Anyhoo, it just took us 3 hours to get there, but we did in the end. You should also know, if you are in menopause, this hotel is a HOTPOCKET with central air. You have no way of cooling down other than opening balcony doors or windows. Otherwise, the stay was great. As I say, Hyatt is always a winner.

Great guest front office staff! Very helpful always, informative, willing to do whatever it takes to make sure ur stay is relaxing. Tu was wonderful. Do utilize the sauna. Amazing wet n dry saunas with tantalizing rain showers with mood lighting. Great food in restaurant and in bar area!! Stan the bartender was upbeat fun and a specialist mixologist.

No dislikes. I did enjoy it’s a short boat ride away from the hustle n bustle of the touristy places by the Besilica. Very quiet at night for a terrific stroll along the lagoon of shops and restaurants.

Bathroom shower leaked all over floor, and large electric blind wouldn't open or close as broken. Room was 25 degrees, as hotel wouldn't put air conditioning on. Restaurant was booked out for private event but no forewarning of this, and staff didn't offer any alternative options.

Spacious rooms, exceptionally clean (which I am quite particular about), so comfortable (they leave you slippers which is so cute). Always refreshing towels which is amazing. Overall very beautiful and the breakfasts were also lovely. The ferry stop is also right outside the hotel so it’s very convenient.

This hotel has a perfectly good location for travel to Venice, also you can get the transfer to the airport by hotel’s boat, cheaper than taxi boat and more comfortable and faster and of course funny than Vaporetto. The breakfast was also good, very good. The hotel is adjacent to a cozy bar with an outdoor terrace where you can find wine and coffee and nice view.

Well located on Murano. Hotel offers their own shuttle boat to/from the airport which is worth using. It's not that much more expensive than the Alilaguna boat and means you go right to the hotel

Could use the spa or gym because it had been booked out. Was really our main reason for booking this hotel

Brilliant location, lovely room. General manager was very good, made us feel very welcome and special.

Just a warning that if you plan to use the gym, it is very small, and you need to book.

Everything in the room (the sunlight was especially fun), the fact that the hotel was right next to the ferry stop and next to the glass museum.

Its a bit of a trek to get to from St Lucia station. Had to change ferries and with luggage it was problematic (especially when the waters was a bit choppy)

The property was beautiful.

There was a transportation strike and the staff wasn’t prepared to help us navigate this situation. The information provided by them on how to get to the main island was incorrect and if I didn’t verify I would have missed my flight back to the airport.

Location was great.

Room was nice but having the bathroom downstairs was unexpected and not what I would have chosen.

Great location. Murano is stunning beautiful. The hotel is beautifully set in a strategic position.

There was a big window in the room which was guaranteeing enough light. However it was facing the old walls (with arch shape) of the building.

The location is excellent, it’s clean and modern. Glass gallery on the 2nd level was cool. Location to the water bus was prime.

The Air Conditioning. It was limited to how cold you could make it. But a Lot of italy had less than great A/C

The hotel is a great option for an escape for someone who is swamped with work deadlines (like me:)). I really loved the idea of being away from the busy mainland and letting the life flow.

The location was superb with excellent facilities. The enture staff was super friendly and quite lovely, welcoming.

Room was noisy because of the music coming from the bar. Quite painful for young parents who would have loved to sleep a bit.

Location and the restaurant. We loved that it had outdoor dining and space to sit. Gloria at the front desk was amazing. She took the time to give us great suggestions on where to go and how to really see all of Venice. She really made our trip memorable!

Buffet B'fast normal range of food choices, floor area was wet in places near seating ( rain leakage ), could cause an accident while carrying food.. Had an excellent launch service to airport. Staff very helpful at reception.

Lighting in bedroom could improve as window natural light was limited.

1.The duplex room was excellent for us as a family of 4. 2. A waterbus station was right at the gate of the hotel 3. It was my wife's b'day when we checked in and the hotel staff was kind enough to recognise it and courteous more than enough to send in a bottle of wine at the room.

1. We expected complimentary still water in the room all the time and it was available on for the first night 2. The breakfast had a limited spread and may not be up to the reputation of Hyatt. 3. The geographical location of the hotel at Murano is far from the train station. One has to change the station and then go. With heavy luggage, it adds inconvenience. Like complimentary pick up from the airport, the hotel did not have a pick up from the train station. 4. The hotel did not have a pool.

Very up to date facility. Staff were friendly. Liked staying away from the chaos of Venice

It was pricey, but without realizing it we planned a trip to Venice during the Biennale. So, I guess it was to be expected.

Almost everything was fine

One stuff was unpleasant, made me feel offended.

Brilliant restaurant at reasonable price for Venice. Transfer to and from airport included. Transport to Venice available right outside the hotel.

The view was not great but this was expected as court yard views are at an additional cost.
