Hotel Sina Centurion Palace, Venice

This is not a 5 star hotel. The rooms and the bathrooms were filthy. The elevators were dark and carpet were worn off

Small room, bathroom small there was a perfume smell in room sweet n powdery ? I found that we may have been given the wrong category room as our bill for 3 nights was 2,500. And I checked the current price on web site for Delux n it was 500 per night?

The staff were exceptional -- housekeepers, restaurant staff, the front desk, the concierges and the bellboys -- all were extremely helpful, personable and made the visit extra pleasurable.

We had a Deluxe Double -- but next time will upgrade to another level.

It is modern I prefer to be on the other side of the canal Some of the rooms are very small and although I got a canal view it did not have a bath

I found that the Hotel concierge did not have much say to get tables at the best restaurants I had to get my own booking for Harry’s Bar they had no sewing kits I lost my sunglasses for 3 days and I found them as I was leaving f under the curtains so the room could not have been cleaned very well or swept very well Ordered a taxi and it turned up late they don’t seem to have very good contacts Lovely to sit and watch the boats go past on the terrace

What we really liked about the hotel is the location and the seating area right on the sea. We really enjoyed getting the aperitif there before dinner. The hotel looks great and they keep it clean. The staff were really nice. We liked the breakfast with the view.

The bed was small (160cm) and the room was really hot, the regulator for heat was (we guess) not working properly, we tried to turn the heat down, and after we came back from the city, they’ve turn it back to high, so it was again hot. It was hot even if we closed the AC so in the end we had to open the window at night to get some sleep.

Tucked away nicely and quiet

The staff were very welcoming, obliging and friendly. The location, near a vaporetto stop, was excellent for getting around. The breakfast was very good and the half board offer was excellent value for money. It was my husband 80th birthday during our stay and the hotel treated him very well.

The room was rather warm, but we managed to turn off the heating and open the windows. A second chair might have been nice if it could be fitted in. I don't remember finding a hook in the bathroom. ( I am not completing this immediately after our stay!)

A stunning historic building with a stunning waterfront location and vista back to other leading hotels and buildings in Venice. Well located next to water taxi.

It's a bit old and due for a refresh. The bar was a bit lifeless and drinks very expensive.

The location and the hotel are absolutely magnificient. A true 10/10.

We love the location, the historical building and its tasteful contemporary interior design; reflecting our times within a timeless cultural gem that is Venice. The staff was exceptional welcoming; helpful and friendly from arrival to departure. Lovely spaces and thoughtful amenities to memorably start and end the day.

We would have welcomed a set of additional bed blankets as well as tea/coffee making facilities in our otherwise flawless room; a very minor observation in an otherwise great experience.

The location overlooking the Grand Canal was fabulous and close to the water taxi stops. Breakfast was excellent and the service from the waiting team and front of house was very friendly, helpful, and generally first class.

The room was quite basic and the bed not as comfortable as you would expect for a 5 star rated hotel.

The room size and the TV cabinet... I can't even open the cabinet!!!! The room was very small and cabinet was so big 😭

There was a bit of wear and tear evident in our room. I think it is a stretch to label the hotel as 5 star.

We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Staff were excellent, especially Francesca who served us at breakfast time. All staff were happy, friendly and very helpful.

There was an excellent buffet breakfast.There was a very wide range from a hot cooked breakfast, to cereals and continental breakfast, even cake and prosecco! Wonderful location with dining room and terrace facing the Grand Canal.Nearby Vaporetto stop, nice shops and restaurants nearby. Lovely furnishings. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.They changed our room to meet a special request and did not charge extra.Nothing was too much trouble.

The split in the middle of the bed wasn’t great for sleeping but otherwise the bed was fine. The private transfers were expensive and felt unnecessarily convoluted.

The location was lovely. The room was slightly smaller than I expected but was well appointed. The breakfast was excellent.

We would have liked to eat on the terrace, but were put off by other guests smoking. I realise this can be a problem with Italian hotels, but think smoking could be disallowed in areas where you could eat.

The price of a beer

The location is superb and the views are stunning. Everything worked really well and we had wonderful 2 days in Venice. Breakfast as well as dinner we had the first night were delicious and staff very attentive.

There was nothing I did not like, it was all truly great. Of course, it was not cheap but if you have a room with a Canal view, it's expected.

The hotel lies at the Canal Grande and there is a vaporetto stop close by. The room was relatively spacious, with a little desk, there was also enough space to hang your cloths. the bathroom was small but well designed. the hotel serves an excellent breakfast with a large variety of fruits, yaoghourt, cakes, danish pastery, rolls, eggs, vegatables, meat, cheese etc. The hotel has also a very good restaurant and nice areas for having an afternoon drink, with view on the Canal Grande or in the garden,

the rooms are quite small.

We had the best room in Venezia with a large balcony overlooking the Grand Canal! The room was spacious with high wooden ceiling. A cumfy large bed and nice shower. Breakfast was excellent but best of all was the staff.

Cleaning can be improved. We reported some unacceptable mold in shower corners and it was dealt with very promptly. The overall cleanliness however was very good.
